I'm not sure if it's because I've had pho from Canada, but I found this to be very tasteless. The noodles were very hard and tough to chew. The broth didn't have a lot of flavour to it. Overall pretty disappointing. read more

I'm here at least 5-10 times a month. It's my favorite go-to. The family that runs it are very sweet people and do an incredible job with their service and quality. The Bahn mi steak, vermicelli lemongrass, and shaking beef are my favorite but the pho and fried rice are also great. I've never been disappointed. read more

Brand new Vietnamese place in Boardman! I had Pho with flank steak and meatballs. The meatballs were some of the best I have had anywhere (and I have eaten a lot of Pho, all over the US). The broth had great flavor without too much black pepper that seems to be common here. My husband has the special Bun (vermicelli noodle dish) that looked really good. Spring rolls were freshly made with a delicious peanut sauce. The menu has only Viet food with pho, bun, Vietnamese fried rice, fried noodles, etc. No banh mi but perhaps she will add it once they get up and running. My friend and I stopped here for dinner around 7pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy, every table was filled. She had the fried rice and I had the pho with steak. The broth was fantastic and the hot oil added a nice kick to the soup. We even got to meet the owner and head chef, Nancy. She's very friendly and an amazing cook. This new Vietnamese restaurant is a great addition to the 224 Boardman area. The food is fresh, excellent and authentic. There are no pre-packaged ingredients here. I ordered the Charbroiled Shrimp Vermicelli and Spring Roll, my husband ordered the Pho Soup. We were more than pleased and portions were more than generous. Food was cooked to perfection. I'm feeling generous today with the four star review, mainly because of the friendly and fast service. The pho however, did not measure up to all of the five star reviews I've read about this place. The meatballs were hard, fatty and full of gristle (wait, was that a knuckle?) and the broth was darn near as bland as water. Good thing they have sauces on the table to boost what I found to be a total lack of flavor. Fortunately the sliced beef was of a better quality. I am SOOO relived there is finally a good place to get Pho around here! I just moved out here from the Denver area and I was sure I had said goodbye to good Pho forever. Honestly, I might have to say that this Pho is better than my favorite Denver spot.. The lady came to us and told us how she cooks the broth for over 16 hours, and you can definitely tell! We are only here in Ohio for a family visit (we live in Las Vegas) and the pho here was BETTER than any pho I've tried in Vegas. Nancy said the pho recipe has been in her family for a 100 years, and she even brought out a small cup of the broth so that my spouse could have a taste. Friendly and accommodating. Wife and I ordered vegan pho, fried rice, and vegetables. They went out of their way to give us a wonderful meal. Nice to know Boardman now has 2 Pho establishments. It has been opened for 2 months and trying itfor the first time. I will be back. Started with the summer rolls. Had a shrimp and a pork and shrimp. I did like the pork and shrimp a little better. The peanut sauce was not your regular sweet peanut sauce. This one had a good amount of heat to it. Not to my liking. They have Ban Mi but it is not on the menu. You have to ask for it. It was perfect. Bread was crunchy and pork filling was delicious and tender. Of course I went with the Pho. They offer regular size and Large. I had the regular and it was a lot. Broth was sone of the best I have ever had. I got the Pho Dac Biet. The beef was some of the best ever. We also ordered the Vermicelli ride noodles. It was one of the biggest servings were have ever been served. Pork and shrimp were deliciously cooked. I will defenitely be back again. read more

Surprising little restaurant with amazing flavors! Vey unpretentious place, set in a tiny plaza across from Southern Park Mall. Food is very tasty, authentic, homemade by the chef-owner who is just as likely to bring it to you as her helpers are. Much lighter than Chinese, this is very flavorful and satisfying. We were wary, as no other cars in the lot. But, they did a surprisingly brisk business combining sit-down and carry out. Only 6 or so tables, but quick and just delicious. The pho was absolutely delicious. This wasn't just the best pho that I've ever had it was the best soup I've ever had in my life. They cook their broth for over 16 hours. This was my first visit to Pho LV, it will not be my last. In fact this is my new favorite restaurant in Boardman. I love Pho and have tried the other two restaurants in the area and was very unimpressed. The owner Nancy was so friendly and helpful. She makes everything herself from the fish sauce to the egg rolls. She also make her own hot sauce, it was perfect. I ordered a pork and shrimp eggroll for my son and a vegetarian for myself. They we're probably one of the best I've ever had and my son, 25, was also very impressed. I also ordered a spring roll, vegetarian Pho noodle soup, steak Pho and vegetarian Stirfried egg noodles. Yesterday (Oct 4th, 2019) we were out and about in Boardman and decided to get something to eat. We found Pho LV and stopped in. I ordered the steak and brisket Pho, and my husband got a vegetarian rice dish (I'm sorry I forget the name) and we split an order of Spring Rolls. Everything was delicious! The owner said the recipe for her Pho has been handed down in her family for a little over 100 years, and she even makes the spicy peanut sauce for the spring rolls. Absolutely delicious! We plan on doing more date nights with Pho LV! For our first ever experience with Pho, I have to say this place is a solid 10/10. The restaurant is clean, and bright....and the owner and chef are wonderful. I hope Pho LV lasts. read more

The food at Pho LV is INCREDIBLE! We had two different Pho (beef base and chicken base) and they were both extraordinary, very deep flavors and perfectly prepared. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls, AMAZING! We tried the shrimp and pork lotus root salad and we will certainly order this again (easily a new favorite of mine!) very fresh, light, and amazing textures throughout. The only thing even better than the food was the service. Nancy (the owner and extremely talented chef) came out to talk with us about our dishes, and her daughter was also wonderful! Can't wait to go back, this restaurant is a MUST TRY, I would give it more stars if I could! read more
