Very nice place, staff very welcoming, pretty busy on a Sunday for lunch, but still plenty of room. The restaurant is clean and sparsely decorated. Very comfortable. I had a shrimp and egg roll rice vermicelli bowl. It was great! Veggies are crisp and tasty and the chili oil and sriracha spiced up the dressing perfectly. Noodles were cooked just right. Ratio of noodles to veggies was very good. The staff checked on me frequently and kept my water glass full. Prices were good especially for the portion of food. I'm definitely coming back. read more

Pho Luu - Shrimp and egg roll rice vermicelli bowl. - Vietnamese Near Me - Escondido, California

First time coming here Food was very bland person will have to try the Pho before writing the place off as a no go for. Cashier was more interested in socializing with friends than paying attention took a very long time to get the bill after asking more than once. Maybe growing pains, they need to do a better job of monitoring their patrons and look for subtle signs like wanting to pay the bill or need water etc read more

I enjoyed having dinner beee tonight. The restaurant just opened and they asked me for feedback regarding the food because they are interested in making it as good as it can be. I had only positive feedback, the broth was flavorful and the veggies fresh. Pho was hot!!! I appreciate the hot broth, because I don't like soup getting cold two minutes after you put in the veggies and meat. Very convenient location and place is very clean. Come and support and good family business. read more

The food was great but the environment it was so noisy when had lunch there there was big family gathering near us at that time probably it was bad timing read more

My son and I had dinner at Pho Luu and enjoyed it immensely! Service was excellent and our food was delicious. The following week my son had a dinner date with his 13 year old daughter (she loves Pho!). They said it was busy on the Monday they were there but didn't have to wait and the food was excellent again. Definitely will become a regular customer! read more

Amazing food. Family run. Love the service and and ambiance. Very kind family. If you like good pho, you will like it here! Extensive menu.

Hands down the best pho broth I've ever had! We ordered take out and we all got the chicken pho, it was phenomenal. It's the kind of broth that just soothes the soul. I saved some to sip later in my mug it's that good. Highly recommend and will be back for sure. read more

Today, my friends and I went out for phở; the food was served very quickly, the coffee was delicious, and the salt-and-pepper chicken was incredibly aromatic. read more

If Vietnamese food is your thing, come here. The owners take personal responsibility for customer satisfaction.

Pho was good and flavorful. Spring rolls were fresh and the service was great. The dining area was clean and well organized.

We just ate at Pho Luu for dinner on a Friday night. We had a big group with a lot of kids and they had amazing, fast and friendly service. We had the bun Bo hue, fish sauce chicken wings, salt pepper chicken wings, and pho. Everything is delicious! This is definitely our new go to Vietnamese spot in Escondido. Highly recommend! read more

Had the opportunity to dine in at Pho Luu. If you're into Drake music, this is the place to be. Not only was there good music but the food was delicious. The service could do a little more. We didn't get our waters refilled, nor get check on. Give them a visit. read more

This is a solid place for pho in Escondido. Service was quick and attentive. They even gave us a complimentary sweet treat. Thai tea was also really good! read more

This place just opened up and if you're craving authentic Vietnamese or just wanting extremely good food, this is the place to go. We ordered grilled shrimp spring rolls, pho with tendons and meatball and shrimp fried rice. The broth of the pho is amazing-- not too greasy, or salty-- just perfect. The shrimp was a good size and the best peanut sauce I've had to date. What really blew us away wasn't just the taste -- it was the value. Prices are significantly lower (about $5-$8 cheaper!) than at other Vietnamese spots, yet the quality tastes like it should cost way more. Add in super friendly waitstaff and a warm/welcoming vibe, and this place feels like a hidden gem you'll want to come back to again and again (and ag read more

Pho Luu - Service : 10/10 Food: 10/10 - Vietnamese Near Me - Escondido, California

I drove past here yesterday and realized they took over the kbbq spot, so I had to try it. We live around the corner and down the street so we ordered delivery. The food was okay at best. There are better Vietnamese spots in town. I was really craving some mi xao gion and was excited to try it. However the sauce was so bland. I got the combination one where it's beef, chicken and shrimp. The meat was super tough. My husband likes bo luc lac, so we ordered that. It's rare that a place makes it correctly. Theirs was also really bland as well. It does not have the flavor profile of bo luc lac, not even close. The meat should be tender too, however it was tough. We didn't try the pho, and I wish we did. I don't know if I would be ordering from here again. read more

New favorite Vietnamese spot in town. The pho broth was flavorful that you wouldn't need to add anything to it. The bun bo hue was not sweet and had the right amount of spice and I'm so happy we have a place to return to when I'm craving either Vietnamese noodle soups. I will definitely be back to try other dishes! read more

Best pho ive had in sd! Fast&friendly service. I love that they have different size options because normally its too big of a serving at most place & it goes to waste. I got their veggie pho it was very fresh , clean and great flavor . I am a picky eater but i leave a good reviews when its deservedwill be back to try more things on their menu. read more

My family and I came here after visiting San Diego Zoo Safari Park. It did not disappoint! It's a small family business. The service was quick and efficient. One of the best bowls of pho I have had. The broth had deep, complex flavor that is often missing at other pho restaurants. Service was fast and polite. The restaurant was ample, quiet and clean. This will definitely be my new spot. Don't skip this place. read more

We came across Pho Luu because it is in the same center as a Tesla charging station. Three important factors as to why I am writing this review are as follows. 1. FOOD - amazing! Fresh and delicious. Half the table had meat and the other veggie. We all left happy and satisfied. 2. SERVICE - friendly and welcoming. All the staff was kind and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The owner came to our table and was kind to assist us with how to best mix the chilis and hoisin sauce to get the best flavor in the meal! Much appreciated! 3. CLEANLINESS - definitely A+. The dining area offers open spaces to comfortably move around and not feel too crowded. All surfaces were clean and well maintained. Looking forward to an excuse to drive to Escondido just to eat here again! Thank you for sharing your cuisine! read more

The Combo Lo mein to go plate was just okay. The proteins were on the dry side perhaps more sauce and vegetables would enhance the flavor. Not as filling as most Chinese Lo mein dishes. Their Pho's dishes are very delicious compared to others in Esco. read more

The restaurant is clean and bright, with excellent service. Got to meet The co-owner of the restaurant, and he was very friendly. The Pho was excellent, we had the steak, brisket, and tripe combo (P3) and the vegetarian (P 14). Both were hot and delicious and were served promptly with all the usual condiments. Thank you for the excellent experience, we will recommend Pho Luu to our friends and family! read more

This is a Strange Review but I'm hoping that this Review is Educational. I've been to Vietnam and I'm about to Visit again! The problem with this restaurant is Simply Cultural, because Most of the Staff doesn't Speak English! I believe They should Have Translators to help communication or the Staff is gonna Call Mom and she does Speak English! Before I go on, I must say The Food was Excellent and I had Pan Fried Vegetarian Noodles with Tofu and It was Delightful. The Noodles...Oh, the Noodles were Cooked exactly like I Love...Nice and Crispy! I tried to Tell them that's How I wanted the Noodles prepared but the language Barrier prevented that from Happening...So, I took a chance and that turned out Great...Whew! But, no one checked to See if I was Enjoying my Meal (probably because I was Stuffing my Face) and No one bothered to Remove my Plate! In fact, at the end of my Meal, no other Customer was in the Restaurant and Staff didn't Bother to make Eye Contact or Look my way! And, of Course I had to ask for my Bill too! All tables should have Contact at lease 2 or 3 times per Visit. Staff shouldn't be Allowed to play with phone or Turn their Back to Customers...Young People, what are you gonna to Do! Last, for those Reasons I didn't leave a Tip...because in Vietnam there's No Tipping...I felt like I was in Nam! I truly Hope I won't feel like I'm Being ignored in the Future because This Could Be A Great Option for Escondido! I loved those Noodles and I'm not Angry...just a little Disappointed. We can do Better! Maybe, next Time I'll leave a Tip! read more

I work like 4 doors down and have been the smelling the pho all week! I came on opening day and the broth was just as good as the smell. It's so hard to find really good pho here in Escondido and this place hit the spot. My family and I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, Rare Steak & Brisket Pho, Grilled Chicken Eggroll Vermicelli Bowl, Crispy Egg Rolls, & Nem Nuong. All were so delicious, I'll be having lunch here often, for sure. The environment is inviting, it's a family owned restaurant and they are all so nice! Everyone came to check on us to make sure we enjoyed the food. For their grand opening day, I would say the food and service was fantastic!! I'm so glad they are here and they are only a walk away!! read more

This place was ok. I came here last week and dined in. The waitress was nice but service was mediocre. I ordered chicken pho and was not offered lime and herbs that's usually come with it. So I asked for them, she look at me funny. Then I ordered food to go and she charged me $1 for a to go container for my left over soup. I don't plan on coming back. Oh, the food was ok. Nothing special. read more

Pretty good. I've been looking for a good pho place closer to Escondido. Now there's one right in the same complex as the Escondido Tesla supercharger! The pho was pretty good. I still prefer Pho Cow Cali in Mira Mesa but this one is definitely a strong second in my book. The egg roll was okay I thought. Not bad but nothing to write home about. I did like that it came out crispy and piping hot as it should but it was a little greasier than it should have been. But I can't wait to try some of their other dishes. Crossing my fingers that their bun rieu and bun Bo hue are good! read more
