The regular size is good if you're starving, it's just enough to fill you up, but if you're a burly man you may want to get the large! I've gotten the large before on an empty stomach and wound up struggling to finish, whereas I finished the regular with ease today. The workers were super friendly and the man working DEFINITELY loved his job, he was so talkative and giggly with everyone and complimented my hat also, screaming "YEEHAW!" Pho closer to home! Yay! Pho Lucky takes on the prime location left by Ahi Poke. It has a large footprint with tables along the wall of windows and more towards the back. I love the straw hats suspended from the restaurant ceiling and mural towards the front. I've been to the Novi location, so I was familiar with the menu and quickly ordered the spring roll and the house special pho, with extra meat, before finding an open seat. Large families already filled tables, all enjoying their bowls. In short order, the crispy spring rolls were delivered. I liked the savoury filling and crunchy texture, as well as the sweet sauce. Also delivered were bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapeno disks, and a lime wedge, which accompanied the pho so you could dress your pho to your liking. The broth was a bit bland, even with all the extras. Next time, I would like to try both the papaya salad and banh mi. Service was okay. read more

We had the most delicious experience at Pho Lucky! The spring rolls were absolutely wonderful, the fresh summer rolls were light and flavorful, and the peanut sauce that comes with them was incredible -- perfectly balanced and so tasty. I recently got takeout from Pho Lucky and I was blown away by the quality and quality. I've been dining in consistently over the past few years, but this is the first time I got takeout and it traveled so well! The place is clean and conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and polite. I haven't dinned I. I usually get take out of the vegetarian pho with tofu. I like that they don't keep the cooked veggies in the broth. They give you a container with the broth and then the noodles, veggies and seasonings are in Another container. I have a big bowl the I add everything into when I get home. It is still steaming hot but by the time I have it prepared it has cooled down but is still hot. The broth has so much flavor and the veggies are cooked to perfection. But they have gotten my order wrong a couple of times but not badly like I didn't get my tofu or the added mushrooms when I asked for no mushrooms. No biggy. It doesn't hinder me eating it and it still tasting very good. read more

Here visiting customers and staying at a nearby hotel. Wanted something warm and Pho sounded perfect. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Menu is small. They have a few apps. We got the tofu summer rolls, they were great. Love the peanut sauce. We ordered and I got the P.2. Tender steak and lots of broth and noodles. The aromatics were great! Added them and some hot sauce. The regular was big. Very filling. My associate got the tofu vermicelli noodles and veggies. She enjoyed it. Food was fresh and good. Service was great. The gentleman that waited on us was funny and helpful. There were a few other customers. It should be more crowded. Not bad prices and good food. read more

I am so happy that Pho Lucky opened a spot right down the street from my house. They just opened a couple of weeks ago and we have already been back twice. This place is such a nice large location for them. When we arrived for dinner it was quiet and we were welcomed by the staff. We picked a table by the window and got our drinks right away. My daughter and I both love Pho, so I ordered mine with rare beef and she got the meatballs. My wife got a rice and chicken dish and everything came out quickly. The pho broth at this location is incredibly deep and flavorful. The portions are quite generous and very delicious. We all enjoyed our dinner. Before we left, the owner treated us to a traditional Vietnamese dessert that is very unique. Please help support this awesome business and make sure I can have my fix of Pho. read more

My families favorite Pho place! This location has a new broth recipe that is deep in flavor and truly amazing, you need to try it for yourself. I moved to Detroit area from Southern California and have been pretty depressed about the pho options around here. I found this place and decided even though it had few reviews, I would give it a try. I'm really happy I did-- it's a super solid pho spot! The broth was super flavorful, no hoisin or sriracha needed. I got the large portion and it was the perfect amount of noodles. The meat was also fresh and tender. And I was VERY happy to find I was given a nice and juicy lime, not one that had clearly been sitting around, all dried up. We are so delighted that the new location is just a five minute drive from our house and we can get Pho and Bahn mi's any time! Went to the new Pho Lucky restaurant on Six mile and Newberg for lunch today. Service was fine and their pho was delicious! I Added Thai basil,mung bean sprouts,lime juice and sliced jalapeno. I had P 3 which was rare and cooked beef slices. My wife had the spring rolls and loved them . My son also had a big bowl of pho. We met the owner,Kong Lupinski who couldent be more gracious. He told us a short version of coming to America as a "boat baby" at the end of the Viet Nam conflict. He couldn't speak a word of english and attended Devine Child in Dearborn. He worked at many restaurant jobs until he decided to open his Pho Lucky chain. He now owns and operates five of them! This is the immigrant experience that our country needs.
