Man oh MAN! I have had phó literally at dozens and dozens of places all over the country. This place, is definitely definitely in my top 5 nationwide.
The restaurant was super clean, typical Vietnamese decorum. I was the only one there during my entire visit, so naturally it was really quiet. My nice server girl greeted me right as I walked in, brought me water and took my order.
I ordered spring rolls for an appetizer. They were okay. 4/5 stars. The peanut sauce was warm, which I'm not really used to, and had sort of a loose viscosity to it but it was good.
They have all the condiments, chili sauce, sriracha, hoisin, and soy sauce. I asked for a little bit of fish sauce from the back and they were happy to oblige.
They give you a good amount of Basil and sprouts and other vegetables.
I ordered the large five meat combo phó, like I typically do. Man, I don't know what they do to that broth, but that broth was absolutely amazing. I always try the broth, virgin, before I load it up with different sauces and ingredients and it was just outstanding. All of the meats were great, the tendon and the tripe were literally amongst the most tender I've ever had, ever.
Great little spot, the people are super nice, I'm pretty sure it's family-owned. And I hope this place lasts a long time. I'll definitely come back again the next time I'm through here!
