My mom and I frequently go here on my day off for our brunch. Our go-to order is: Mi Quang, fried shimp dumpling, xiu mai and the turnip cake. Their duck wonton noodle soup is very tasty as well. I like that they offer a menu with regular items as well as dimsum items all the time instead of just weekends. Their staff is always kind and attentive to all of our needs. The restaurant is cute and brightly lit. Their portion and price are reasonable. Another plus for fellow early birds like us is that they open at 9am! Keep up the great work guys! I was introduced to this restaurant by my sister in law and was pleasantly surprised. I am a die hard Pho Duy fan but this place has become a new favorite! Ambience: It is a very open restaurant and plenty of seating. It's not extremely loud, the only downside is they have like 3 high chairs so if they have a bunch of kids in there when you go and you need a high chair you might not be able to get one. Service: Service was great, staff is very attentive and food comes out fairly fast. You are seated right away every time you come in. I got: - egg tarts - shumai - dumplings - pork ribs - lotus wrapped sticky rice - pork buns - sesame balls - Thai tea boba (they made it less sweet special for me which is a bit of a pain since it's premade) All were so delicious and really reasonably priced. I was really craving dim sum, we drove 30 min after dropping off our other party at the airport just to see what all the good reviews are about. Sadly, this was not very good dim sum. It's a Vietnamese restaurant which happens to also sell dim sum. I'm sure their pho is solid, but dim sum not so much. As other reviews have mentioned, it is very clean, service is great, both of which are not signs of a good dim sum joint unfortunately haha. The only good thing to order is their shu mai (pork dumplings), everything else was not great. Chicken feet, shrimp dumplings (har gow), and tripe with scallion and ginger. Wife said their baked char sui bao (bbq pork bun) was pretty good, but I didn't try it. The bubble tea - taro and avocado were tasty but the boba itself was small and hard, undercooked. It's located in a chinatown looking spot in a seemingly not so great area of town, but that in and of itself wouldn't deter me. If I'm in the area I'd come back to try their pho and Vietnamese food, but pass on the dim sum. read more

Don't get me wrong, their pho is pretty good but their dim sum are better than other places because you can order em off the menu and they'll bring to you cooked fresh versus bulk cooked and served at the same time on carts like at other dim sum restaurants. There may not be as many variety but they have enough of the "classic" items. The fried shrimp dumplings are my favorite! Everything on the menu is worth a try. They also serve a huge menu of Vietnamese and Chinese entrees. I think someone could find something to their liking from their menu offering! Their service is super friendly and attentive. Came here during the Lunar New year celebration at the Far East Center, to get away from the crowd for a bit and grab a bite to eat. We were seated fairly quickly even with 4 adults and 3 kids. Service was fine but a little hard to get ahold of since they were clearly very busy that day. I'm sure on a regular day service would be great. All of the food we ordered (dim sum and pho) was delicious. We did have one minor incident where I noticed upon biting into some dim sum shrimp dumplings that the shrimp inside was still gray and raw. we asked for it to be sent back, which they did but merely reheated it and brought it back to us minus the bitten dumplings so we didn't get to enjoy a full order of fully cooked dumplings. Came here for a little lunar new year celebration with my coworkers. While some dim sum places can be a bit intimidating, this one was so nice and low-pressure! We ordered mostly seafood options (I'm a pescatarian) but all of them were incredible. The staff was warm, responsive, and helpful when our table was struggling to decide what to eat. Everything was delicious - my favorites were the shrimp dim sum, whole fish, and water spinach (so basically all of it). The place's decor is simple but comfortable and the restaurant is right inside of the Far East Center where you can grab groceries after! Will have to bring more of my friends here in the future.
