Good Pho in a shared restaurant (Pizza Place) Takes credit cards. Give a 4 out of 5. Still better than Franklin area Pho.

Food In one word, exceptional! Was invited for lunch and we…read moretried the Bimbimbap, Cheesy Skillet, Hot Chicken, and Gochujang Chicken. There were no complaints and very few leftovers. Really appreciated how the Hot Chicken was pan seared and kept more of the traditional Korean spices. We did find out that the Spicy Pork Bulgogi is not available anymore , but remains on tee menu as sold out. Service Get there early! Waited in line for a while and also not much seating inside or out. We were lucky to grab one open table outside. You grab a number after ordering and they bring the food to you. Self serve drinks. Ambiance The interior is small and it can be difficult to find close parking. If you don't mind walking from the next parking lot over, then you're good. Would I go back? Absolutely! The food is just too good.

Redemption Tour -- Mostly Successful…read more Full disclosure: I got pretty sick after eating here in 2021 -- my spouse too -- and we swore off the place. To our credit, neither of us left a nasty review at the time; it happens in the restaurant business. But five years of watching them stay busy and still standing convinced me it was probably a one-off, so I gave Soy Bistro another shot. I ordered the Hot Chicken -- pan-seared, chargrilled chicken breast with Korean spices, served with house coleslaw and rice. The restaurant was clean, the service attentive, and a genuine highlight: self-serve beverages with large cups of ice-cold water, which I really appreciated. The coleslaw was crisp with a terrific dressing, and the rice was spot on. The chicken itself was a touch dry and could have really used a dipping sauce to pull it all together. At $15.50 -- closer to $20 after tax and tip, I wasn't wowed by the value on this particular dish. The cheesy skillets were flying out of the kitchen and looked amazing, clearly the crowd favorite for a reason. Next visit I haven't found my dish yet, but I have a pretty good idea where to look.

Came for the mochi donuts, stayed for the extremely delicious $8.95 tofu banh mi…read more Tucked into the corner of the Walmart shopping complex off Nolensville Road, easy to blow past even when you know it's there, just by virtue of how small it is. Almost always packed, even right before closing. I've done delivery a couple of times before finally showing up in person. (And now regret I ever did delivery. Pickup is easy and the fees are not worth it.) Menu is tight and purposeful: banh mi, pho, rice noodle bowls, a handful of appetizers, all inexpensive. The boba and fruit teas are an influencer's dream: colorful, instagrammable, with lots of interesting flavors to choose from. But the real draw here is the made-fresh-daily mochi donuts, and the flavor lineup leans decidedly international: taro glaze, Dubai chocolate, strawberry pocky, pistachio. My personal favorite is actually the plain sugar (maximum chewy mochi mouthfeel), but the fancier ones hold up, too. Miles better than what the nearby chain Asian bakeries are doing, and I have eaten at a lot of those. All that said, the actual food is not an afterthought. The tofu banh mi ($8.95) has become a genuine addiction, on what tastes like real, homemade French bread. Ordered on their website, ready in 15 minutes, waiting at the counter 2 minutes after I walked in. The 1 thing that is super annoying is the space gets crowded enough that navigating to the counter for pickup is a little awkward. Parking is easy (massive shared lot), staff is warm and fast. Would be in very regular rotation if it weren't slightly out of my way, and it's well worth the effort.

It was okay but I think next time I'll get the soup. The drinks however, were delicious! Staff is always really kind and free parking is plentiful in their lot. Love going here. It's cute inside.

Hard to find authentic pho in Franklin and this place comes pretty close. Tried the mamas chicken…read morePho with extra bean sprouts and cilantro and it was very good. My fiancé and I got take out from here tonight. Here are some positives: good service, staff…read morelistened to our changes (ex: no cilantro), and the food overall was tasty. Everything tasted fresh, no complaints there. However, I had an issue with the portion size to price ratio. My fiancé and I both ordered the regular sized pho. They have a smaller size and a regular size and we 100% ordered regular size. Now, I don't know if something got mixed up, but assuming I got the correct order, a regular size portion is a shallow takeout container with noodles and the toppings and 16oz of broth. That amount of broth is enough to barely cover everything in the already shallow bowl. Also, the bao bun, while super tasty, cost $4.25 and we got one piece of pork belly on it which I was a little sad about! The coconut pudding, also super tasty, was pretty small too and cost $3.00. However, it is a filling dessert so I can understand that pricing and portion sizes. Again, overall this place is good, but I think I've just been a bit more spoiled with other Pho spots I've been to. I've had a lot of places give me a lot more bang for my buck.
