Went on a weekend right before the dinner rush and was met with quick and friendly service! The place is bright, clean and inviting.The menu has a lot of speciality sushi, some pretty creative rolls! I enjoyed my pho and also had a tom Kha as my appetizer. Yes I had soup and soup- I don't mind as I happen to love soup. My only wish was that there was more acidity and sourness to the Tom Kha, it was a bit too sweet and more coconut than I prefer. My boyfriend enjoyed his beef fried rice with medium spice. He thought the spice level was perfectly enjoyable (the step before it becomes hard to enjoy lol) As we were finishing up, the place got pretty busy and filled up to 75% capacity. I ordered pad thai here through ubereats, and it was not the best experience. The pad thai completely lacked flavor. Most pad thai dishes have a little sweet/sour kick to it, but this pad thai simply did not. I was so disappointed and couldn't even finish all of it. Hubs and I always have a hard time agreeing on food choices, but we may have found our new favorite place! Drove by here today looking for PS Noodlepot, but were very happy to find Yoshi Sushi and Thai in its place! Food was so delicious and flavorful! I tried Panang curry for the first time and loved it! Really good and interesting mix of flavors! My husband had the chicken Pad Thai and really enjoyed it! He couldn't finish the whole meal - there was so much food! We shared the spicy salmon roll and the crunchy crab role and they were both delicious! Everything seemed very fresh and flavorful! Very happy to have good sushi in our area! If I HAD to say anything negative about the place, I would say be prepared for the smell when you first walk in the door. It's right next to a nail salon, and the aroma is a little over powering at first. I became acclimated to it after a few minutes, and was no longer bothered by it. Very good Thai restaurant--perhaps the best one I tried in Nashville, TN area. If I lived around here, I would eat at this place quite regularly, alas we live good 1 hour away. We happened to stay in Antioch over the weekend. When I searched for places to eat our dinner, this place was one of the closest ones from where we were staying. It's tucked away in a very non-descriptive shopping strip. In fact there was a laundromat two store front away. It's an interesting deco inside--sushi counter top-refrigerator is prominent and catches your eye first (cf. photo). There's a huge exhaust ventilator roof over the stove top. Walls are painted mint green. There must have been about 12 tables in this small place. Food was very good. I tried their Lard Na since I really can't handle too much heat. I added some red pepper flakes and red pepper jam for my chicken on the side. The serving portion was very generous. My wife ordered her usual Pad Thai with mild heat. It was almost too hot for her. I tried it myself, and it was very good heat for me. I have to remember not to order anything beyond mild here. Our server was very courteous. Service was very prompt--our food came up very quickly. This place has very bland food. I ordered soy sauce noodles which were flavorless with no sauce and the tofu tasted as if it had expired. I also ordered spring rolls that had nothing but shredded cabbage inside and it came with the sweet and sour sauce which was not a good pairing. A nice alternative to my usual,Thai Papaya for Pho. I ordered to go and was pleased with my choice. Yokito Pho. I assume orders to go are one size, this was a generous large. I generally don't eat meat pho, but decided to have it tonight. I was not disappointed. The meatballs delicious and beef so very thinly sliced! Ample sprouts, lime wedge ,basil fresh, jalapeno was crisp and hot. Plenty of noodles. My only critique is the broth. (Its always the broth) Could have been a bit more rich, more flavorful. How have I never spotted this cute little place tucked away on Bell Road? The husband and I had planned to enjoy a nice pre-Valentine's Dinner Tuesday at King Market, but alas! Since they were so quiet, we got a chance to chit chat with one of the managers, who was super friendly and suggested dishes for us to try next time. Hubby and I decided that we were in the mood for lots of food to share, so we split the crab rangoons, the A.A.C. roll (A vegetarian sushi roll with avocado, asparagus, and cucumber.) and the ba mee noodles, (Which can be ordered with or without soup) which were I had never had before. Everything was delicious, I especially enjoyed the ba mee noodles, which were served cold. Just got this delivered. We got the yummy roll, crunchy shrimp roll, alligator roll, and the California roll. I also got an order of the drunken noodles. First of the all the noodles: not good. Over cooked and too sweet. I got medium spice because of the reviews on spice here, but my boyfriend who can't handle any spice didn't taste anything at all. It was quite a let down. I won't lie. The sushi: I got spicy mayo and eel sauce to add to the alligator roll and it was everything. Yum yum yum fresh and delicious. Yummy roll wasn't bad. There was like practically no eel though so that sucked some, but what was there was good. The California was the usual. No complaints. The crunchy shrimp roll was all crunchy and no shrimp. Like seriously more than one piece was just crunchy stuff and that was it. Not surprising, but I was hoping for more. All in all I'm not upset, but it was 60 dollars worth of food, so I expected better. I'm willing to give it another go though, but maybe not the sushi. Cuz lard na is awesome and the pics on yelp showcase something that looks awesome. I'm always hopeful for a restaurant. I'll give it multiple tries. read more
