First off, I've never had Pho before. So I have nothing to compare it to. My boyfriend LOVES Pho and when we lived back east he used to get it in NYC a lot. Food: I got a Shrimp Pho Bowl. It was really good. It was served with nice fresh add ins, like bean sprouts and long leaf cilantro which was DELICIOUS. My only complaint was I wish there was a little more Shrimp in my bowl. I also there was an option to have it made with vegetable broth as I don't eat beef. (I understand that traditional Pho is made with beef broth, but I'm just saying it would be nice to have vegetable broth). Decor: Kind of Cheap and Tacky.... Service: Was kind of slow and non attentive. They also sat a large party of about 8 college age loud kids next to my table in the very empty restaurant. There was no reason they has to be seated right next to my table. Price: My boyfriend paid but then when we got in the car he mentioned it to me. (I would have said something..)... but apparently our two bowls of Pho (I believe to be both medium) cost us over $40.00. They don't give you a receipt so I'm pretty sure they just randomly charge whatever they want or add things onto your bill. Problem is this Greeley, and besides a bunch of gross chains, there's not much going on, so you're stuck if you want something exotic unless you want to drive to Fort Collins. It's 12:15 p.m. on a random Tuesday and my chest is full of lung cookies, my nose is a tortured red and my voice sounds like a weird combination of Humphrey Bogart, Dixie McCall and Linda Blair from the Exorcist... kinda kinky now that I think of it. But instead of entering into a new albeit somewhat time-limited career as a phone-sex operator, I give into the Sudafed-induced craving for some something hot, soothing and spicy to clear out the cold critters. Yelpers to the rescue! After reading the other reviews, I dropped the antihistamines and headed over to Pho Duy. This little Greeley gem didn't disappoint. The soup was simple, tasty and cheap. With a little chili sauce mixed in a ton of cilantro, those cold germs don't stand a chance. Washed it all down with a bit of hot tea followed with a hot Sake bomber and a little Tsinghao. Ahhhh.... *Does happy pho dance that strangely resembles the Charlie Brown shuffle* With a full tummy and enough soup left over for a second meal, my immune system will be in fighting form in no time. Me and the hubby have gotten take out and we've dined in. Both have been great although while we get to-go orders things have been cold (rare meat), only by our own default, so we've had to reheat to get meat cooked properly. But the phó here is delicious!!! The is so many options for addition and everyone is amazingly friendly! The firecracker shrimp ( I think it's called, don't quote me) is soooo good in house! We've never got it to go but it's by far my fav appetizer! I just feel so lucky to have this place in town so I can get my pho fix! My friends love this place but the food is not for me at all. It's bland and odd. If you're someone who likes American, Chinese, or Italian do not go out of your element to try Pho Duy it's a sad let down. When we went there my friend and I ordered one order of spring roles and got 2. When we brought it up to the waitress she did nothing. We ended up paying for both orders. I ordered grilled pork Bun and Vietnamese coffee to go. My to go box had whole in the corner. When I saw the whole, I knew what's the food taste like. Because if you don't care how the outside look like, you don't care what's inside... I was right. The noodle was hard and felt like they cooked it in the morning and kept it in the fridge. As I recently traveled for more than 1000 miles to Greely Co, my family had more than 1 pho place before this. The taste we had actually from small Seigon in Orange County California. There is this small authentic beef noodle soup place call "Kimmy Pho". We still have not found such place yet. This review is for their quality of food. 1. Vietnamese coffee: much close to original flavor and serving contents - hot brewing expressor and condensed miked on the bottom of cup. Separate cup of ice. Impressive! 2. Beef noodle soup - closer to "kimmy pho" taste with fresh meats 3. Rice with beef - more like western style but quality was good. My wife said the rice smells good. The rice is the first quality any rice eating Asian can enjoy. Not many variety of cold noodle and rice. The expert appears to be rice noodle soup. read more

Tried pho once before and wasn't that impressed. Had a very overpowering cinnamon taste. Tried here and WOW! Flavor bomb!! Had the Pho Brisket and meat was super tender. Just moved to Colorado and have been missing my pho. Finally found this place and it's the new spot! Amazing food and such a nice staff!

I just left Pho Duy about a half hour ago. I went in because I've got a wicked cold and since I don't like chicken noodle soup, pho was the way to go. It was empty when I got there, so I was seated and drinks served quickly. Many of these reviews are old and the prices given are out of date. A small chicken pho is now $8, a large is $11. I ordered a large because I wanted leftovers (and have enough for 2 more meals). I also got hot tea ($1.90!) and one spring roll ($2.95 for 1, $5 for 2). Food came out quick and pretty good. They kind of skimped on the fillings like basil and cilantro, so I had to ask for more on certain things a couple times. The chicken was tough - definitely over done. I know the beef is probably better, but I just wanted chicken soup. It tasted good, like the last few times I went in. Unfortunately, as more people started coming in, the service became quite slow. There were never more than 5 tables full (there are over 15 in the restaurant) but I sat waiting for 10 minutes without seeing a server to ask for a to-go container. I was giving clear "I'm done" signals, too (stacking plates, pushing bowl back, sitting back in chair and checking phone.) The staff has an affinity for sitting in the back corner by the kitchen and chatting - ignoring customers. This has happened every time I've gone in, so it's not just this particular staff, it seems to be a way of doing things here. I know it was AT LEAST 10 minutes because I heard the same song play 2 1/2 times at that point. Yes, they had the same song on repeat for some damn reason. I heard it 5 times in 40 minutes. When I finally got my container, the only reason I wasn't there another 15 minutes waiting for someone was because I knew to pay at the bar. For someone new to the place, it would have been forever. Summary: Food - Ok Service - Very slow, but polite Price - Way higher than it used to be. $17 with tax & small tip for large pho, 1 spring roll and green tea. That's too much. Going back? Not unless I get really sick or get a huge craving. Maybe pick it up to-go so I don't have to deal with the servers. read more

First visit here and we were hooked! Fresh Basil, lemongrass, jalapenos and bean sprouts to work over your hot bowl of goodness. Sunday and Thursday are 2 for 1 draft beers which are $1.65 to start! The only complaint is the service or lack of. Dishes stay piled up on table when we were finished, no servers ever checking back....to busy adjusting their Justin Bieber hair. The pho is on par with Pho Duy in Denver but they are really sticking it to the college crowd and Greeley residents. I'm so bummed! This used to be a better place, but it is evidently under new management. I should have recognized from the empty restaurant that changes were afoot. The Pho is a shell of it's former self - less beefiness, fewer onions and less spice. It tastes like the dishwater that bowls containing REAL pho were washed with. My noodles were a bit gummy, and the condiment plate was short of everything (although they did provide more limes). Worst thing - when I went to redeem my phrequent phocker card, they wouldn't accept them. So I paid for probably the worst pho I've ever had.
