Jasmine tea
Sarah A.

I came for dinner before a concert thinking I had plenty of time. We were headed to a concert nearby and arrived at the restaurant an hour and a half before we needed to be at the concert hall. I easily found a spot in the parking lot and my son and I were welcomed in and seated. We ordered our beverages, Fanta for him and hot jasmine tea for me. We ordered our food at the same time as our beverages. Unfortunately for us, there were two large tables that had just put in their orders. I understand that would make it busy in the kitchen. It took 25 minutes for our beverages to come and then another 40 minutes for our food to come out, so I asked for to go boxes and the check when the food came. We ate some of our dinner then packed the rest to have later so we would make it to the concert on time. We both got drunken noodles. My son got his with chicken, mild and I got mine with shrimp, spicy. They were delicious. I appreciate that we could just walk up to the register when it was time to check out so that we could speed on our way. Though timing was an issue, the food itself was great and I would go back.

Decided to try it tonight April 4th. Big mistake. The service sucked. The staff unfriendly. We ordered appetizers only the server forgot to place part of order. The appetizers showed up after the entre arrived. I could go on and on but enough. The good ok but not great

We had lunch here one afternoon and it was so yummy! We ordered the meatball spring roll as an appetizer and I highly recommend it! The egg drop soup was the best I've ever had homemade for sure, and the hot and sour soup was really good as well. I had shrimp curry it did not disappoint and my husband ordered the Saigon delight with all three proteins. They were all so good. It is a family owned business and feels like it. Definitely coming back.

Shrimp pho- the shrimp is literally melting in your mouth and I also ate most of it

the food is literally the most amazing thing on earth. Ive never had anything like this. the service is absolutely amazing everyone is super nice and helpful. the ambience is great its very calm and a great atmosphere. -shark

Saigon Grill is a hidden gem in Fort Collins. Hands down it has the best Vietnamese food in town. My family and I have been coming here regularly for over 6 years. In that time we have tried many dishes on the menu. My personal favorite is the vermicelli noodle bowls, while my wife loves the Banh Mi sandwiches. Of course their signature Pho is authentic and delicious. My daughter is vegan and she has always found many vegan dishes that she enjoyed. I have always found the service to be fast and friendly, and the dining room alway clean with a great ambience. I first are here when staying at an AirBnB close by and on several occasions we ordered our food to go. Each and every time the food was ready in 15 minutes and when we got it home everything was still hot and packaged well to-go. The prices are very reasonable especially considering it's located on the edge of Old Town. If you are looking for excellent Vietnamese or Chinese food, Saigon Grill is a must.

As Fort Collins has a dwindling Pho restaurant scene, Saigon is one of two. Today I have them a "2nd chance" hoping they realize the market and need for good Pho. Unfortunately, they didn't perform. I ordered the large combo. Sadly, the broth has nearly no flavor outside that of grease and fat. The entire top layer of the soup is covered in a very thick layer of oil/grease. There's no flavor to the broth and the noodles had been overcooked to the point of being mush inside your mouth. I couldn't finish it. Service is pretty meh, as it's a very informal and if it's slightly busy you're on your own. It's pretty unfortunate that they aren't capitalizing on the lack of pho, to make amazing pho. And yes, I've had good pho. Which doesn't include having to wade through layers of oil. at least it should have flavor to help you forget about this flaw.

3.5 stars. Service was friendly, but lacking. I think they were understaffed. No biggie. Veggie Rolls were delicious. They had a light crunch and a juicy filled interior. Great flavor and yummy plum dipping sauce. Lemongrass Chicken. I've had this before at another place and it was awesome. Saigon Grills version was good, but underwhelming in flavor. It didn't have much of a lemongrass flavor at all, but was decent enough. Thai Fried Rice. My sister raved about it and so I had to try a little bit of it. It's pretty good, but not the best I've had. Great portion size.

Moldy pho noodles

Friend stopped by to hang out and brought pho. He offered me some but I was hesitant after the moldy noodle incident. I started to make a small little bowl for myself but then found a rotten piece of bell pepper. I've attached the photo. I used to eat here once or twice a month and haven't been back in 5 months since mold noodles. This could have been a redeeming moment, but moldy bell pepper has done me in for good. I can't eat at a place that clearly neglects food safety.

We ordered it to try something new, but didn't care for the pineapple pieces in the soup. Service is always great regardless of whether you're getting food to go or dining in. From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!

Here at PBM, there's balance issue in pho broth. I'm looking & savoring the backbone slow-simmered beef richness (usually from marrow bones, oxtail, brisket), with aromatics like star anise, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon acting more like background notes--not the main show. Maybe it was an off day, which that would be good...that would give me hope that the broth is being made in-house! I will come back again, in hopes that PBM will validate being THE BEST in Loveland!

It's located in a strip mall next to some other delicious options with ample parking. I walked in and was seated immediately at a booth along the wall with the menu strategically placed below the glass covering the tablecloth. Me being me, I'd already researched and knew what I wanted so when the server immediately asked if I knew what I wanted as she was seating me I was ready to go. No more than maybe 10 minutes (at most) later, my rare beef and brisket pho was in front of me. The servings are massive (I ordered the regular, not the large), and it's very noodle-heavy. They have the sriracha and hoisin/plum sauce in containers on the tables so you never need to request more unlike other pho restaurants I've visited. The flavors were on point, the broth was wonderfully hot and just what I needed on a chilly day. It took a minute to get the one server (who was working her ass off) to bring a to-go container, and next time around I would likely request an additional broth to take home with me since it was VERY noodle-heavy, but I will absolutely be back time and time again!

Drinks were on point, and the little details in the atmosphere (lighting, ambiance, layout) made it feel special. For food, we kept it simple but tasty: fries and their edamame bowl with cocktails. Both hit the mark -- the fries were crisp and fun, and the edamame bowl was a smart choice for a lighter, shareable app. We didn't get sushi this visit (so I can't weigh in on that), but for what we had the experience was solid. The patio upstairs is a standout: great for a friend date or casual hang, especially if you're looking for something more upbeat. Service for us was attentive and friendly, which added to the good vibes. If I were to suggest one improvement: I'd like to try more of the main menu next time (especially sushi or a full entree) to get a full sense of what they offer. But for now, I'd absolutely recommend this place for drinks + apps with friends in Fort Collins. We'll be back.
