The food dishes are bland, and not very tasty. The meat is not being prepped properly, it is stringy and tough. I had the Teriyaki Beef, and it was a waste of my money. Seriously, this dish had nothing to it but 3 little pieces of broccoli and the meat was on top of dried noodles that tasted very old! We also had Spicy Shrimp with ginger sauce, sounds good right? Well, the shrimps were very shrimpy(small) and tasted pretty fishy. That tells me this shrimp is not very fresh at all. I have been here a few times and every time is the same.. Chilli Thai has been a go to spot for me and my family for years. We usually get the daily specials which you can order any time. It comes with an entree, lo mein, rice, egg roll, and cream cheese Wong ton. I usually get the general chicken as my entree, which is amazing! I normally order food for pickup and it's always fresh and warm. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and clean. Food generally was pretty good when we ordered takeout on 5/11/2025. I ordered the Thai fried rice (chicken) and had about half for dinner. The second half I had for lunch on Monday 5/12/2025 and when chewing discovered a metal shaving in the fried rice. Looks like it came from opening a can, but at about 1" long if I wasn't paying attention could definitely turned into a serious medical issue. Since they are closed on Mondays, there is no one to contact. Seems like carelessness in the food preparation and makes me unsure if we will be back. read more

So i just got into my hotel and I was famished and wanted some Asian food and let YELP pick for me. This way the first spot that was listed and boy am I glad it was. I began my order with some egg rolls, egg drop soup and some spicy chicken lo mein with a Thai Tea boba drink. The egg rolls were delicious and I only ate 2. The egg drop soup was delicious but I forgot to order the crispy noodles to put in my soup. Then came the main entrée. I did order some hot oil and am glad I did as it enhanced my dinner nicely. Everything was delivered hot and the Thai tea was delicious and cold. The hot oil wasn't hot but flavorful. Came here after seeing that this place makes both Thai food and Chinese food style dishes. I called to make sure that they could make the few dishes I was interested in, gluten free. The woman who answered the phone confidently said that they could make it gluten free. So I thought that I would try to find yet another gluten Chinese type of food in the area. I noticed that there are 2 Chili Thai restaurants in the area. One located in Evans and one in Windsor. I'm guessing they have the same owner because they have similar menus and advertising. So I decided to go to the one in Evans. When I arrived I found that this place is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I went in and spoke more about the gluten free "Kung Pao chicken" wanting to know how they make it. They said that they do not fry it with corn meal or corn starch, and that they make it in a wok with clear sauce that they make spicy. I found out that the King Pao chicken comes with plenty of extra vegetables mixed in, which I like. See my attached picture of the gluten free Kung Pao chicken. The chicken came in small pieces, mixed in with peanuts, green squash, red pepper, green pepper, and bamboo shoots. Even though there was a little more green squash than normal, I still thought it tasted good. I ended up eating the entire thing, which came with a side of medium grain sized white rice in a cardboard fold-up container. The sauce mixed in with my chicken and veggies, made even without the soy sauce, was surprisingly good. Even though I did not dine inside the restaurant, and got my order to-go, I saw that they had booths and tables inside that you can sit in. See my attached bed pictures. I was also pleased to see the variety of dishes I could try each time, such as General Tso's chicken, almond chicken, cashew chicken, and even Chicken Pad Thai. I was pleased how accommodating everyone was inside to me when I came. It made me feel much more comfortable. The price was slightly above average at $11 during dinner hours. They have a lunch menu with lower prices. If I were to make any recommendations, I would say that the menu should mark what meals could be made gluten free. When I came here I saw all of the staff wearing masks. I understand that they are trying to make a good impression and don't want to irritate anyone, but it's time to relax with the wearing of the masks. None of the customers that I saw come in were wearing one. It's a personal choice that very few people exercise now. Also, they have several tables in the front where they bring out and set down the food to-go. Most of these tables around the ordering counter should be removed because they get in the way, and because it confused me when I walked in; I didn't know where to go to order. In my recommendation, I do think you should come by here because the food quality seems reasonable, the price is somewhat decent, and the people that work here were accommodating to me. We are Asian and just visit Greely Co. Our first eatery was at Pho Duy which I will have my review after this crappie restaurant. I ordered basil shrimp, pad Thai, house fried rice, lo Mein. 1. Pad Thai: this dish was more like noodle soup. The taste was just sweat apart from any pad Thai. Chinese cannot cook Thai period! 2. Basil shrimp: jaw dropping such that I only grabbed 2 pieces of shrimp only. 3. House fried rice: must cooked with old stuff at least 2 days. Beef was more like Jersey stage with sour taste rice. They put much sugar to remove this old rice odor. 4. Lo Mein: this was the only dish my wife had without taking any meats in it I went there around 11:15am on 02/23/2019. This is my 2nd time writing any review. I first complained about the old rice, but the Chinese girl insisted that it was fresh rice. I told that the rice is our main dish everyday. I paid over $45 in cash. Any steamed fresh cook rice smells sweat. When keep for more than 2 days and heated with adding water will turn this smell to sour. This is basically spoiled and bad for your body. The rice should cook at most daily. Preferably it should be cooked each meal time. Try rice at Pho Duy for comparison. read more

This restaurant almost took my life for some sub-par Crab Cheese Wontons. Let me start by saying that I do not eat out very often so it's pretty easy to know what food my stomach doesn't agree with, or what may be fishy. I ordered take out, went home as normal and ate my dinner, I was the only person in my family who ate the ragoons specifically. Flash forward to the next day I cannot hold even water down and can't get out of the bathroom. This goes on for a number of days, a couple urgent care visits because I was convinced that with the extreme abdominal pain that I may have ruptured my gallbladder, wrong. I get some bloodwork done and an ultrasound done and to my extreme shock, I had come down with viral Hepatitis. Commonly contracted through food (sometimes raw/improperly cooked sea foods OR someone handled my food after using the restroom, and well you know the rest). My symptoms continued for numerous more days, repeat blood work, even a hospital stay. I called this wonderful establishment and let them know and I was told nothing of value and that they didn't care. I asked if they had possibly received any other reports in the timeframe. I was told no and that if I wanted anything more I needed to contact the police because they "have an attorney." Pretty good place for lunch - my party of four had entrees and a drink for forty bucks and three of us needed boxes for takeout - so the portions are big and the prices are very competitive. I had the Thai green curry with beef - arrived on a huge platter with rice, an egg roll and a fried crab/cheese won ton, and a cup of hot & sour soup. The rice and curry were absolutely heaping - I knew when i saw it I'd need a box. Service was fast and very capable. They were about half-capacity, and this was early lunch hour. We really enjoyed the food on September 5, 2021. The Crab-cheese wontons are fantastic!! Nobody else in the area offers these. Sesame chicken was great and the Orange chicken was amazing. We have been ordering from this place for over 2 years now, and tonight was the biggest disappointment we've ever had. We waited nearly 2 hours for our food to be delivered. When I called to ask about it they told me that the food was ready but they were waiting for the driver. It finally showed up 45 minutes later. When they showed up, the bag was leaking all over the place. Then we got into our food and it was all cold amongst other things that were wrong. When we called to talk to them about it, all they offered us was a free appetizer credit after everything that was wrong. I understand being busy, but the service tonight was some of the worst I've ever had from any restaurant. For a small business that I'm sure is struggling because of the current circumstances, they sure aren't doing anything to be sure they keep the customers they have. Chili Thai is the best. I have always had a positive experience while eating here. They also take gluten and dairy allergies seriously! They have always been so good with my gluten intolerance. They're always friendly and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Don't go anywhere else for any type of Asian cuisine - this is where it's at! Their egg drop soup, edamame and Vietnamese rice noodle bowls are AMAZING. Great portion sizes, fair prices and amazing staff. Love Chili Thai! We seriously order from here 2-3 a week. read more
