First time here and definitely the last. The place is very dirty. Their version of cleaning between customers is wipe down with the same wet rag. Tables and floors were visibly dirty. Customer service was horrible the guy is absolutely miserable. Food was alright but orders were wrong. I was heading North on I5 and had a sudden craving for some Pho. I stopped at the closes shop which was Pho Dat and ordered a large Beef Pho. The Pho was good and satisfied my craving. The shop was clean as well as the restrooms. I recommend to anyone in the area look for a decent bowl of Pho. read more

Sooo I ordered and paid for chicken pho to go. I get home and I got beef. Not only was the unfriendly woman who took my order acting weird, but the man in the back kept peering over the wooden door between the kitchen and the lobby. So I get the wrong soup, and to top it off its cold. I mean pho is usually piping hot, and the servers are friendly and nice, not creepy and lurchy. I really wanted to like this place as we've been searching for a good pho spot in the Snohomish/Skagit area for a while now, but it missed the mark with everything we ordered. The brisket pho was just OK (I typically like chilli oil in mine and they surprisingly don't have it), the egg rolls lacked flavour and were over-fried and seeping with oil, and the mango and green tea bubble teas both tasted quite artificial. the seafood with beef broth.......squid cut into too small of pieces....fish ball was way too small and too tough to chew, all dried up.....the pprtion is kid portion the pho with too tough and chewy beef....... If I could take stars away, I would. The service was, hands down, the worst I've ever had. The food was terrible and nothing I ordered (FROM THEIR) menu was available. They couldn't even put cream in my tea (ordered a Thai ice tea -FROM THE MENU, and was very rudely told that the cream is only for coffee (he didn't speak English, just pointed and grunted and yelled the few words in English he did know). I would've left, but had Just flown in, drove over an hour and was starving. I only had 20 minutes. Bad mistake. I should've left. It was the more unusual and nasty bun I'd ever had. It's pho, but you could probably already tell that. What's less obvious from the title is how average this pho is. This place might have set a new record for the most unexceptional pho I've had, but it wasn't bad. Their business seems slow, and their food is completely ordinary. Nothing to get excited about. My bowl of pho took nearly ten minutes to arrive. Either they make it to order or they like taking much longer than usual. I ordered a large bowl, and it was pathetically small for a large. Even the plate of garnishes seemed sparse. I also ordered two deep-fried egg rolls that didn't add much and weren't really worth it. At least there's pho in the area, but it's definitely not special enough for a return visit. read more

When I walk into a pho restaurant I'm always greeted with the amazing aroma of all the ingredients that goes into pho buuut If you know what a wet dirty mop smells like, that's what this place smells like. It's like they reuse towels and mops without washing and cleansing them afterwards. The smell was sooo over powering that I had to make sure my bowl of pho was in front of me at all times to tame myself from throwing up. The pricing is not worth the smell or taste. I rather go to Happy pho a few miles down for now on. read more

The food was okay but the service was AWFUL. They were so incredibly rude and got mad at my small child (age 2) for dropping a chopstick.

My husband and I have been to a bunch of pho places and spent some time in Vietnam. We love pho and honestly this is one of our favorite spots! Tim, who I believe to be the owner, is usually the only one up front. He is very nice but doesn't talk much and gets straight to the point - he brings you water and a menu, gives you a couple minutes and then comes back and takes your order. Our food is always out in a timely manner and tastes great! Oh and the bubble tea is good too. read more

Been here a couple of times (take-out only) and the food was okay, but not really worth the hassle of the idiots who work there. It's hit or miss if your food will be ready when they say it will. You can also count on it NOT being hot or even warm. I NEVER send stuff back because I don't trust a cook who most-likely has an attitude when something is sent back. This place is the worst. I called in my order said i would be there at 5 i arrived 10 minutes early it was sitting behind the counter. I paid he gave me my order. I told him it was cold. TERRIBLE/RUDE service. Went in for lunch and we were the only customers in there. We were sat down and given menus. The owner or whoever the guy was seemed absolutely miserable and not friendly. You'd think you would be nice to the ONLY table you have seated. When he came back for our order I asked how big the "small" pho was, he shrugged his shoulders and said I DONT KNOW ITS UP TO YOU...how about you tell me the size? I come here a lot and have yet to be greeted with a smile, given a thank you, or even a sliver of manners although I am always overly joyful and tip good. The owner sits on his phone under the counter and reacts as if each request is a burden. Sadly this is the only pho in the area. Ordered pho to go. It was a 5 minute drive home. I opens the TINY container of soup to find out it was barely warm (THAT'S AGAINST HEALTH CODE), it wouldn't cook the beef that was packed with it. The food is good and the place is ok. What's not okay is the inconsistency of the restaurant schedule when it will be open. When I visit the place, I saw the place is closed because of a seahawk game and other time closed just because it wanted to be closed. If I could give Pho Dat a minus 10 I would. This is THE worst Pho I've ever had. The food is absolutely horrendous. We spent $43 for a $7 meal for 2, and that's being very generous. I feel completely cheated and ripped off. We ordered to go or I would have sent the food back and left. What I ordered: 1 chicken Pho noodle soup 1 beef Pho noodle soup 1 garlic chicken wings 1 chicken chow mein The pho noodles were glued together and never came unglued once they went into the broth. The broth was pathetically bland and the meat was gross, cheap and flavorless. Same with the chicken pho. The garlic chicken wings (4) were dry and chewy. Almost like beef jerky. They weren't whole wings, but just the center of the wing. We paid $4.95 for them. That's almost a dollar twenty five for nasty jerky wings. Total rip off. The chicken chow mein which was yet another disgusting dish. The noodles were chewy, sweet and weird tasting. They added broccoli and cauliflower which was extra gross and soggy. Oh, and they were so generous to put maybe 4 tiny little pieces of chicken in it. I couldn't even eat the stuff. And really, I realized exactly how bad they were when my dog Poppy, who would eat just about anything, wouldn't have anything to do with it. She spit out the one piece of chicken we gave her. The guy that took my order was rude and short with me. I asked for no MSG but he told me that they put MSG in everything. If anyone says this place is good, they're either lying, they're friends or relatives of the owners, or they've never eaten outside of Marysville. I warn everyone to avoid this place if they want a good meal... even if you want a marginal meal, this is not the place. We should all demand better. One thing that should have tipped me off right away was that they were completely empty. customer service is AMAZING, i adore the owner even though he sleeps under the counter #phoisthebest i genuinely can not describe the taste and the texture of soft beef as it melts in my mouth. it makes me feel so warm inside, the lime as i squirt it into my soup makes me rolls my eyes back. my spicy jalapeño is so spicy it burns my eyes. the mung beans add a special crunch to my soup. BUBBLE TEA REVIEW, NOT FOOD... I went in to get bubble tea for me and my brother (how didn't like his and didn't finish (he's 11)), there was heavy smell of cigarettes and smoke, they didn't know much English, after we ordered we waited about 10-15 minutes, they have powdered flavoring, the tapioca pearls were smaller than usual and some had an unpleasant texture as if they were made but then frozen and stored for months. after we got ours, we noticed that the staff hygiene was poor, they didn't wash their hands, didn't use lids for the blender, and the surface was pretty messy. On our way home a did start to feel sick to the stomach. Please avoid this place if you want bubble tea, not worth it. read more

The reviews seem to either love or hate this place. I choose "like." The pho had a different flavor than other places, which I think is what people took to be "old" or "not great," but to me it had a good flavor. However, it seemed a bit light on the meat, much of which was chopped up too finely to be appreciated. It was definitely a good experience overall, but I've had better. read more

I want to start by saying that this restaurant doesn't offer cream puffs, so if you're accustomed to enjoying the full pho experience, this place isn't for you. The pho here isn't anything special. It tastes generic compared to others down the I5 corridor and the service is lacking to say the least. I've come on 3 separate occasions during their posted business hours and they've been closed with no notice as to why. If I do manage to get "lucky", and the planets are aligned, and the owner feels like the mood is right, the store will be open, I can get inside and have a wonderful time feeling like I'm not welcome. The rude people working their seem like they would rather finish the Ongbak 7 script they are writing under the counter than actually make some money. Not great broth, and the service is AWFUL!! The one gentleman working has always been rude and never is on it with customer service or refilling water.. The woman that works nights usually is too busy texting and is annoyed if you ask for assistance with more water. I will admit I get a little sad that they dont have cream puffs but not that big of a deal since it seems only Than brothers has fresh ones. When it comes to their soup I dont think its bad and I dont think its great... its just a good bowl of soup. Its really close by to my house and thats why I come here. I also like that you have the option to use card since most places strictly take cash only. When it comes to the soup you only have 2 options in size small and large. For pho i would say it is over priced because I can get their large size at Than brothers which is a medium for cheaper. I have tried their noodle and rice dishes and I like them a lot. Bbq is usually really good. Some other reviewers seem frustrated with service here and I use to feel the same. The old guy knows me now and knows what I want when I come in. After observing from a few trips it may not be all his fault, I've seen people talk to him like hes an idiot just because he doesn't speak fluently straight english. First... let's get the rating straight. This place has FIVE STAR Pho!!!!! I frequent lunch here when I work in the area. Best tasting broth from any Pho place I've been to. Reasonable price, but cash only under $10 - which is kind of inconvenient, but mostly worth the hassle. BUT I am annoyed that 3x now my family and I have attempted to eat there during their advertised business hours, and they were closed. The first time we drove from Lake Stevens to find a handwritten sign on the door. "Closed sorry". The second time, Friday evening approximately 7pm. I CALLED first. No answer after multiple attempts. Went there with a couple of friends, one of which is vegetarian. We order, vegetarian friend orders veggie and tofu pho. Never assume that the veggie soup will have veggie broth. When we got our food, I tasted my friends broth to see if it was the same as mine, (I got the chicken pho) and it was the same broth. She requested something else to eat in place of the soup because she can't eat it. The guy behind the counter huffed and handed her a menu. When he brought out what she ordered to replace the soup, she requested he take the soup away because she wouldn't eat it. He snapped that it wasn't his fault, that's what she ordered and that's what she got. It was, without a doubt, the worst I've ever seen someone be treated in a restaurant.
