So there are two Pho restaurants near us, and this one is my preferred pho-cation. Smaller main dining area but this place can handle larger groups. There's a huge, back-lit picture of the Great Wall (I believe) on one side of the dining area and large windows across the front. Very welcoming space with no frills, a few plants and friendly staff. Several orders were to-go while we were dining, yet we were joined by four other tables. Clientele ranged across all backgrounds while we were there, which is refreshing. Tonight I ordered taro boba tea (a gift-to-me) and my husband had iced tea (which he liked, as a picky iced tea drinker). We started with the Chinese egg rolls, served piping hot. My husband wanted to keep the dipping sauce he liked it that much. I'm a HUGE fan of their spring rolls, too. I really like the play of textures with the wrapper, the veggies, and the shrimp. I ordered the pho dac biet (cannot do the necessary accents, sorry) P7 which came with ALL the yummies: eye round area, brisket, meatball, soft tendon, & tripe. The garnish plate was full of bean sprouts, fresh basil , fresh sliced peppers, lemon , and cilantro. (Usually I have lime when I get pho somewhere, so the lemon was a refreshing change.) The large portion was too much for me to consume at one sitting, so I was able to bring home a lunch-worthy amount for tomorrow. Score! Ron had Stir fry shrimp w/ Blk bean sauce. He kept saying how good their rice was, and he really liked the accompanying cucumber salad, too. The shrimp were plump and flavorful (he insisted I try one, so who am I to protest!? ) He very well May have found his go-to entrée. This seemed kind of fast food style Vietnamese so if you can adjust your expectations you will be less likely to be disappointed. I ordered a Bun bowl. It had a little iceberg lettuce, lots of cold, overcooked noodles that were congealed together and then fell apart with the touch of a chopstick once I added Nuac Cham sauce. Toppings were very sparse as was the toppings for my partner's Pho. My Bun bowl had a few small twigs of cilantro, a little coarsely shredded carrot and barely any cucumber - Not present- fried shallots or crushed peanuts, no pickled daikon, no mint, basil or other fresh herbs or compensation for the small portion of cilantro, about 2 oz of meat that had minimal flavor. The roll was decent but the flavor of the dish came from the nuac cham, which appeared to have no chili - just fish sauce, garlic and sugar water. The side dish of herbs for the Pho included a small portion of bean sprouts generous amount of jalapeño, and some basil. The broth wasn't bad. It had two types of noodles which seems odd to me. You guys have to be smoking crack on these reviews... They don't clean their tables nor anything else in this establishment and I feel like that should be half of your dining experience. You can literally see the dirt on the door handle when you leave. The pho was just okay. The meatballs were pale fleshy colored and they tasted weird. A hidden gem in East Tulsa, borderlining midtown. This place has it down. This picture definition hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant has amazing pho and egg rolls. Oh how I could eat this morning, noon and night! Their food is excellent. The chicken pho and spring rolls with peanut sauce are my go-tos here! This place has great Pho soup every time we've gone here! We've been going for the last four years and it's never been disappointing. A large soup can definitely be split into two meals unless you're very hungry. There's a really good mix and a good amount of meat and vegetables that come in the soup. When it's cold outside, I phoreal need some pho. Phosho - this pho is delicious. Ok, I am tempted to pun it up but I'll try to restrain myself. I was REALLY hungry last weekend so I ordered both a small vegetable pho and vegetable vermicelli. The pho had the perfect noodle to vegetable to broth ratio. The noodles were skinny and cooked perfectly and the vegetables weren't too mushy. The 'small' order is big - beware! The vermicelli is something I will skip next time. Everything tasted fresh but it was lacking a little flavor and overall tasted like a salad without dressing. The ambiance is clean and not too kitschy. And I think mussels, too. On the side are the bean sprouts and jalapeños and a whole pile of other stuff, most of which I was too full to eat. I went with the medium sized bowl, which was good because if that was medium, the large would feed a small family. Seriously, the medium is huge. The large must be a trough. Go with the medium. Next time I'll try the clear noodles, or maybe the beef bowl. And for those who don't like Pho, flip the menu over. The entire back is Chinese food. I ordered the beef and meatball pho and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. We got pho tai (p1 on the menu) and loved it. It was so flavorful! We eat pho everywhere we go, and this was some of the most flavorful pho ever. The place was kind of dumpy, it was clean, but definitely not a place for a first date. No ambiance whatsoever. The servers spoke very little English and we had a hard time communicating with them. We weren't sure we were going to get what we ordered, but we did. The pho was served with all the fixins, which were nice and fresh--but was served with lemons instead of limes. I actually liked the lemon flavor better than lime, and this may have been why I liked it so much, I do love lemons! I'm not sure if they were just out of limes or if it is the way they always serve it. We will be back next time we are in Tulsa! read more

This place was one of the worst almost dining experiences I've ever had. I went in with my friend and son around 7 pm (dinner rush time). There were maybe 4-5 other people in the restaurant, it was very slow. When we walked in the older lady at the check out counter didn't greet us or sit us, she just waved us over to the general dining area to seemingly seat ourselves. Once we sat down she looked over at us a few times but didn't seem too concerned with new customers, she just stood there doing nothing. Eventually after a few minutes she slowly shuffled her way over to put down some menus and maybe silverware, never made eye contact with us or said one word to us, then slowly shuffled back over to stand in her same spot doing nothing. It was jarring to say the least, we didn't know how to react. But we're troopers so we hoped the server would turn things around and offer great service. Unfortunately, we were in for more of the same from her. She came out of the back to slowly make her way over to us, arrived at the table and asked if we wanted any drinks, no greeting or explaining anything, just "do you want any drinks" with a look on her face like she didn't want to be there or we were putting her out somehow. We started ordering drinks, a water my son a tea for my friend, then for me I said "I'd like a water a...", as soon as I said water she quickly turned around and started walking away. I was trying to say a water AND a Thai tea but she walked off before I could finish my drink order. At that point we were very turned off by the place and felt a bad energy all around, even the other patrons were silent and seemed effected by it all. At that point I just wanted to leave, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy any type of meal there as I felt super uncomfortable. I told my friend I wanted to leave and she agreed and said she felt the same way. I went over to cancel our drink order, or what they took of it anyway, which they didn't seem to care about and didn't ask me what the problem was or if there was anything they could do to fix it. After that we briskly walked out and immediately felt better once we got outside. We ended up going to a fantastic little restaurant down the street that we liked so much we're already looking forward to going back. The customer service was amazing and even though we were there at the height of lunch hour we still got our dish incredibly quickly. I highly suggest the dumplings and the seafood bowl. I don't blame them for using less meat due to inflation and stuff but the broth was inexcusable. Literally tasted like I was drinking water while smelling pho. They served it with plenty of fresh basil, cilantro, sprouts, jalapeno slices, and 2 big lime wedges on the side. My medium bowl was more than plenty for me. While in Tulsa for work and recently getting over a stomach bug, I thought some Pho would be the way to go. The place was nice sized and very clean. The staff was very friendly and seemed to recognize several return diners there. I had a medium bowl of vegetable pho which was chock full of chinese broccoli, and other veggies and a lovely broth. Had a good balance of veggies and bun (rice noodles). Service was very prompt and attentive and the soup was delish. I would definitely return again if in the area. I only wish more pho houses in the metro offered a refreshing vegetable pho as this one. read more
