Only place I'll eat pho. I've tried other places but nothing beats this business that I've tried in Tulsa

This seemed kind of fast food style Vietnamese so if you can adjust your expectations you will be less likely to be disappointed. I ordered a Bun bowl. It had a little iceberg lettuce, lots of cold, overcooked noodles that were congealed together and then fell apart with the touch of a chopstick once I added Nuac Cham sauce. Toppings were very sparse as was the toppings for my partner's Pho. My Bun bowl had a few small twigs of cilantro, a little coarsely shredded carrot and barely any cucumber - Not present- fried shallots or crushed peanuts, no pickled daikon, no mint, basil or other fresh herbs or compensation for the small portion of cilantro, about 2 oz of meat that had minimal flavor. The roll was decent but the flavor of the dish came from the nuac cham, which appeared to have no chili - just fish sauce, garlic and sugar water. The side dish of herbs for the Pho included a small portion of bean sprouts generous amount of jalapeño, and some basil. The broth wasn't bad. It had two types of noodles which seems odd to me. I enjoy bun bowls for the fresh herbs and veggies, as a healthier eating out option as well as the flavor. This was not that. read more

You guys have to be smoking crack on these reviews... They don't clean their tables nor anything else in this establishment and I feel like that should be half of your dining experience. You can literally see the dirt on the door handle when you leave. The pho was just okay. The meatballs were pale fleshy colored and they tasted weird. A hidden gem in East Tulsa, borderlining midtown. This place has it down. This picture definition hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant has amazing pho and egg rolls. I had never tried Thai tea until tonight- and oh my gosh I am wondering what rock I have been under my whole life! So good! Great portion sizes and the prices to match. Oh how I could eat this morning, noon and night! Their food is excellent. The chicken pho and spring rolls with peanut sauce are my go-tos here! This family owned business is quick, friendly, and definitely serve tasty Vietnamese/Chinese food. And it's also a great place for kids. My fifteen year old over the top picky son eats his entire chicken fried rice dish (and yes, I steal a bite of two). Their food is fresh, affordable and a good all around choice! read more

When it's cold outside, I phoreal need some pho. Phosho - this pho is delicious. Ok, I am tempted to pun it up but I'll try to restrain myself. I was REALLY hungry last weekend so I ordered both a small vegetable pho and vegetable vermicelli. The pho had the perfect noodle to vegetable to broth ratio. The noodles were skinny and cooked perfectly and the vegetables weren't too mushy. The 'small' order is big - beware! The vermicelli is something I will skip next time. Everything tasted fresh but it was lacking a little flavor and overall tasted like a salad without dressing. The ambiance is clean and not too kitschy. There are a couple of enormous lit photos and a TV or two. Seating is plentiful and large parties can easily be seated together. Our was was fantastically nice and genuinely waited on us. My absolute favorite pho place! The pho is always consistent, the staff is friendly, and it's always delicious! This was my first experience with pho, but they have extras that some of the other locals don't, such as quail eggs. A solid choice for Vietnamese food in Tulsa! It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. This restaurant is pretty big so it's good for big groups. The food here is pretty good! The V1 Bun with grilled pork is a good if you aren't in the mood for soup. It comes with vermicelli noodles, bean sprouts, nuts, and other things. What the Pho! This place is amazing. And in Tulsa! Great food, friendly and fast service, a clean restaurant and reasonable prices. How can you beat this? This was my first time but I will be going back. It takes a long time to sample an entire menu. Tonight, I chose the egg noodles with crab, shrimp, squid, quail eggs and pork. And I think mussels, too. On the side are the bean sprouts and jalapeños and a whole pile of other stuff, most of which I was too full to eat. I went with the medium sized bowl, which was good because if that was medium, the large would feed a small family. Seriously, the medium is huge. The large must be a trough. Go with the medium. Next time I'll try the clear noodles, or maybe the beef bowl. And for those who don't like Pho, flip the menu over. The entire back is Chinese food. So today of all days I decided to make the drive across town in the snow and ice to try Pho Da Cao for the first time. I was not disappointed! I ordered the beef and meatball pho and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. If you're looking for a great meal and very reasonable prices then Pho Da Cao is an excellent place to go! It's quite a distance from where I live but I'm sure I'll be back again! read more

Some might say this is the pho in Tulsa. It's it good and the portions are large. You won't be disappointed.

We got pho tai (p1 on the menu) and loved it. It was so flavorful! We eat pho everywhere we go, and this was some of the most flavorful pho ever. The place was kind of dumpy, it was clean, but definitely not a place for a first date. No ambiance whatsoever. The servers spoke very little English and we had a hard time communicating with them. We weren't sure we were going to get what we ordered, but we did. The pho was served with all the fixins, which were nice and fresh--but was served with lemons instead of limes. I actually liked the lemon flavor better than lime, and this may have been why I liked it so much, I do love lemons! I'm not sure if they were just out of limes or if it is the way they always serve it. We will be back next time we are in Tulsa! read more

Delicious pho! I'm not even going to talk about the service cause we all know authentic asian places really don't care about your feelings. And that is just fine with me! We had the shaking beef with fried rice and the combination pho, and egg rolls and the dumplings (banh bot loc). Everything was delicious! Of course I would definitely come back! You can't go wrong with this spot. These are the best noodles in Tulsa. The broth is on point, especially after you add a little chili oil to it. So grateful a friend pointed this place out to me. We were forced to use curbside pick up due to their lobby being closed because of Covid. My wife loved the pho. I had a meal from their fried rice menu. The chicken was tender and crispy. Broths are very sweet; you get the taste of pho or bun bo hue but with added sugar. Their brisket is really nicely cooked, tender with fat still present. Their bun bo hue doesn't have blood cubes if you're wondering about classic authenticity. It's all edible, but not quite a classic flavor. read more

This place has great Pho soup every time we've gone here! We've been going for the last four years and it's never been disappointing. A large soup can definitely be split into two meals unless you're very hungry. There's a really good mix and a good amount of meat and vegetables that come in the soup. An absolute gem. Tucktaway on an unassuming strip mall, this delectable eatery has all the things and in such huge portions. The customer service was amazing and even though we were there at the height of lunch hour we still got our dish incredibly quickly. I highly suggest the dumplings and the seafood bowl. This place was one of the worst almost dining experiences I've ever had. I went in with my friend and son around 7 pm (dinner rush time). There were maybe 4-5 other people in the restaurant, it was very slow. When we walked in the older lady at the check out counter didn't greet us or sit us, she just waved us over to the general dining area to seemingly seat ourselves. Once we sat down she looked over at us a few times but didn't seem too concerned with new customers, she just stood there doing nothing. Eventually after a few minutes she slowly shuffled her way over to put down some menus and maybe silverware, never made eye contact with us or said one word to us, then slowly shuffled back over to stand in her same spot doing nothing. It was jarring to say the least, we didn't know how to react. But we're troopers so we hoped the server would turn things around and offer great service. Unfortunately, we were in for more of the same from her. She came out of the back to slowly make her way over to us, arrived at the table and asked if we wanted any drinks, no greeting or explaining anything, just "do you want any drinks" with a look on her face like she didn't want to be there or we were putting her out somehow. We started ordering drinks, a water my son a tea for my friend, then for me I said "I'd like a water a...", as soon as I said water she quickly turned around and started walking away. I was trying to say a water AND a Thai tea but she walked off before I could finish my drink order. At that point we were very turned off by the place and felt a bad energy all around, even the other patrons were silent and seemed effected by it all. At that point I just wanted to leave, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy any type of meal there as I felt super uncomfortable. I told my friend I wanted to leave and she agreed and said she felt the same way. I went over to cancel our drink order, or what they took of it anyway, which they didn't seem to care about and didn't ask me what the problem was or if there was anything they could do to fix it. After that we briskly walked out and immediately felt better once we got outside. We ended up going to a fantastic little restaurant down the street that we liked so much we're already looking forward to going back. Some of the worst service/treatment I've ever experienced and I will never step foot in this establishment again. read more

Got the large bowl of pho. It was a big bowl filled with water. Lots of bland soup, medium portion of noodles, and a tiny amount of meat. I don't blame them for using less meat due to inflation and stuff but the broth was inexcusable. Literally tasted like I was drinking water while smelling pho. They probably used less than 1lb of bones to cook their entire stock of broth. The broth tasted like pho but diluted with water and then diluted with water again. I was pretty disappointed. A place the whole family likes including the teenager girls. I love the Pho with steak. Think it is P1. One of the kids got chicken lo mein and other chicken vermicilli salad. My first time eating here. We started out with fried egg rolls which were good, but nothing special about them. I got the clear noodle pho with seafood and bbq pork. It was delicious! They served it with plenty of fresh basil, cilantro, sprouts, jalapeno slices, and 2 big lime wedges on the side. My medium bowl was more than plenty for me. My friend got crispy pan fried noodles with chicken and vegetables and he had so much he ended up taking half of it home. I definitely will be back. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant! I'm half Vietnamese and have eaten the cuisine all over the country and Pho Da Cao is up there with the best of them! If you're in the mood for pho, you can't go wrong with the P4 (flank and brisket). The pork chops, shredded pork, and vermicelli bowls are all amazing. Great spring rolls and Vietnamese eggrolls for appetizers. Nothing fancy inside, which I actually prefer because I can go there anytime and feel comfortable. We love this place! This small, unassuming establishment has fantastic food and good, friendly service. Pho has become a family favorite because of this restaurant. We have tried most of the pho options, but my personal favorite is the P1 (beef), and I always ask for added vegetables. This was my first time getting the opportunity to visit. My mother has been going for years and I am so glad. Everything was super fresh and clean. I have my local Pho shop where I live, and when I am in Tulsa I have Pho Da Cao. It is the best in my semi humble opinion. Again, a friend suggested the place and we made the short trip here for lunch during work. Ordered the Pho.... duh. :) He ordered some crazy bowl of goodness that looked amazing. I wish I had a bigger stomach because I would have had that as well. He gave me something from his bowl, no idea what it was, but it was awesome.
