Update- they are asking for proof of vacation. Ok second review time!!! And real time while I sit here and think about my bowl I just had. it's on the bowl of pho combo bowl! And i have to say it's the most well balanced bowl I've had with a rich pho broth. Excellent body of the soup really taste the spices and beef in the soup. This the second time I've actually ate pho here because I always order a rice plate or vermicelli bowl or the infamous shaken beef with noodles. This bowl (medium) had the perfect amount of noodles and meat to bite ratio!!! At the end of the bowl still had extra bites of tendon and brisket. After visiting la mint I've been on a binge for a excellent bowl and this might be it for me. Definitely safe to say best pho in the area. The neighboring pho Saigon II broth has changed and it isn't the same but this place definitely stands out. Great location too. Staffing is great seating every guest or taking/giving phone orders. Pho Craze I used to really love this place because the food taste really good and the portions was reasonable. In the last couple of weeks I've noticed that the portion looks like it has been disappointing. I ordered cube steak with garlic rice because it's my favorite, pork combo and chicken with rice but I'm really disappointed that there was only 11 pieces of tiny steaks and the chicken was sliced very thin. This is the reason I gave 3 star and I never normally give 3 star because I know everyone works hard in the kitchen and I appreciate your service but please fix the portion on your menu. read more

Too be honest this use to be my go to place after I found a sponge/towel in my pho dac biet at Pho Saigon 2. Our family started going to Pho Craze instead but to find out its owned by the same owner or family. Regardless we kept coming here because it seemed cleaner and the bun bo hue was pretty good. My wife ordered bun bo hue for me today. I heated it in a pot like usually. However this time when I gave some to my son which he liked. I then noticed some hair on his plate and asked him where that came from. He said it was in the noodles! 2 pieces of curly gray/white hairs. Gross! I then found 2 more pieces of curly hairs in my bowl of noodle soup! *barf. Yes 4 pieces if hair, curly hair!!! I'm really hoping it the older asian lady's head who I think is the owner abd NOT some other part of the body!!! I've eaten and ordered here at least 12-15 times but this will be the last time I order from here. Seems like a cleanliness issue. All I can say is make sure you look carefully at the food before putting it in your mouth. The food is good but I will not trade that for sponges/towels and hair in my noodle soups. The best Vietnamese food in my area! They're new too and they're killing the game! I've usually been doing door dash lately because of the pandemic but I've eaten indoor and outdoor before as well. Every time I did dine in, it was a good experience. I love how their workers are super friendly and welcoming. Their indoor dining is spacious and they have a lot of tables! You can tell everything is new. I always get their Banh Mi because it's huge and totally a bang for your buck! Around $5 and you get so much for your money. It taste delicious as well. Even though it's cheap they don't skimp out on the flavors. I love the sauce they have in there. It's really rich and creamy, it totally compliments the sandwich perfectly. If I could leave 10 I would. First time eating PHO soup, first time ordering g from Pho Craze. Yesterday I had oral surgery 5 teeth removed, hungry wanting something good and soft. It's so sad we have no good places to eat in our area, if you order out it's usually cold and soggy. Looking at the reviews and two other Pho restaurants in the area I decided to go with Pho Craze. I'm impressed, order arrived super fast (thank you UBER eats). I ordered chicken soup with veggies egg noodles, spring rolls,shaking cube beef fried garlic noodles. Everything was packed separately, fresh warm, tasty. I can't get over how fresh everything is. Broth separate, noodle's chicken in one container, veggies in another. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try so I called in to order for pick up and the food was ready in 20 mins! For appetizers, we got the fresh spring rolls (#1) which comes with peanut sauce. There was nothing extraordinary about them. If you're craving fresh spring rolls, it'll help satisfy your craving. They were also decently priced. My boyfriend got their shaking cube beef with garlic noodles (#15). You can barely taste the garlic that they put in it though. We'll probably try it with the garlic fried rice next time. The noodles themselves were like chow mien and not too oily. The beef was really good and we dipped it in with the salt, pepper, and lime that they give on the side which makes it even better! I ordered the grilled chicken with shrimp and egg roll (#19). I was really disappointed that they only gave me 2 pieces of shrimp. They also gave me more rice than meat which I was kinda bummed about. The chicken and shrimp itself was good though. The egg roll was really filled up and tasted delicious! We also got a Vietnamese Coffee to share and it was strong, but sweet. The service is always fast and friendly. There is also a lot of parking outside so I'm sure you won't have much trouble finding a spot. This is not my go to place, but I'll still order here and there if I'm craving the shaking cube beef. My friend highly recommend this pho place in Pinole and I happened to be in the area so I decided to give it a try. This is located in a cute little plaza that has a Starbucks, Mountain Mikes, KFC etc. When we pulled up to this location they have outdoor dining available. There were quite a few customers around at 11:30am on a Monday. When I walked in I was greeted very nicely by a young man there and asked if I wanted to eat there or do take out. I ordered take out for 6 things: iced coffee, fresh shrimp roll, banh mi sandwich, porkchop over rice, papaya salad, vercilli bowl with chicken, shrimp and egg roll. The total was about $49 and I used a check in offer for a free can of soda. The service there was very nice and they're super friendly. After placing my order they told me it would be about 15 minutes so I took a quick walk around the plaza. When I picked up my order they gave me a free bag of shrimp chips (which is amazing!). Their sandwich we got was the pate and pork loaf cha lua (headcheese) for $5.95 and it's bigger than your regular sandwich! The shrimp spring roll was $5.50 and the sauce was delicious. The papaya salad was $9.25 but it's massive and has plenty of shrimp! They put the sauce on it and inside the box they provide you with an extra sauce too! The pork chop over rice (number 21) was $10.25 but super big! They give you plenty of rice and pork and definitely can serve two people! I was craving a Vietnamese ice and ordered one here- definitely worth it! The coffee was $4.25 but again, worth it!! My boyfriend got the vermecilli with grilled chicken, shrimp and egg roll. He really enjoyed it and he liked the way the chicken was grilled and flavored. He said it wasn't dry. The only thing he wished was to have more shrimp as the plate came with only 2 shrimp pieces. But the taste of the shrimp was 10/10. All in all, this place is great, and definitely worth a visit! They do offer outdoor dining at this time, and they also do take-out! The meat seemed dry even though it's drowned in broth. Their pho is pretty yummy though! They have a clean and rich broth that warms the soul during these cold months. The presentation for to-go items is good. All the bean sprouts and mint was fresh and not withered. And they give you a good amount of hoisin and sriracha sauce packets to add to your pho. Overall, it's yummy! Probably one of my favorite pho places around the area. Parking is abundant and their service is good. I usually phone in my order and pick up to-go. Broth hits the spot and noodles are slippery, cooked Just right, and a good portion. The beef is super tender. A great viet place in the Lucky's plaza next to mountain Mike's. Their pho broth is so flavorful and their meats are great quality. Their nem nuong and goi cuon rolls hit the spot with the perfect dipping sauce. I haven't tried their banh mi, but when you go into the restaurant most ppl order their soups. We tried their banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe), but it was lacking in the necessary herbs and condiments to make the roll authentic. They loaded it with too many bean sprouts and was lacking in meat. I had to open it up to make sure my one bite wasn't all crepe and sprouts. I'd stick to the pho next time. Other than that, they are a great healthier option on Appian. read more

Was pleased to find a pho place with oxtails as an add-on. This place opened up during shelter in place and has a steady stream of customers, a testament to its great food. We came here twice for takeout during the last month. The food is very fresh, creatively done, and is delicious. We were impressed with how they packed all items with a lot of care and thought. We had the rare steak, tendon and oxtail pho. The pho broth and noodles were packed separately so the noodles wouldn't soak up all the broth by the time you get home. The paper-thin sliced steak was wrapped separately so it wouldn't get overcooked in the soup. It was a fun pho kit to assemble. The oxtails were sliced horizontally so they were more manageable and the big chunks of tendon were chewy and delightful. The broth was rich and delicious, you can tell they make their own bone broth! We also had the beef chow fun which was traditional and nicely done. Our second time hubby got the Shaken Beef Chow Mein which he really liked. They use high-quality ingredients and the noodles were firm and springy and not overly starchy. I got a Vietnamese sandwich and was impressed with the huge size, the fresh ingredients, fresh bread crunchy at the crust but soft on the inside. The delightfully fresh pickled vegetables and cilantro against the heartiness of the meat hit the spot. I want another one!
