Decided to try this place since it was hot and new and I can't decide if I liked it or not. Growing up Vietnamese has made it hard for me to eat out at a Vietnamese restaurant but I still do :) . Pho Claire was very big and clean considering it was new. The menu wasn't very big compared to most Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. The price for an order of fried egg rolls was expensive for the size.($5.99) it was cut in half and made for a 5 year old. I ordered the Hu Tieu and got clear noodle instead of egg noodle the broth was so bland even after adding chili paste and soy sauce to it that I decided to even just add hoisin sauce. my boyfriend ordered the Pho with rare beef which I can say was very yummy and even came with bean sprouts which my soup didn't. This place sure does know how to make a bowl of Pho that's for one. I'm not quite sure that the menu is ready yet. They have a screen with pictures and I wanted to order the pancake but my waitress told me they don't serve it yet. Which sucks that they advertise such a yummy entree but don't have it yet. Also if you can pay with smaller bills it would be better for them. We paid with $100 and watched our waitress get change and saw the manger ( the guy that was well dressed I'm assuming was the manager) shrug her off and she asked everyone that worked there for change.... He also called me "baby" when bringing my food which was a turn off.. Overall: this place served a great bowl of pho and is roomy and also has bubble tea if you are a fan. read more

Pho is ok, beef stew is very good, bahn mi is terrible. Wonton soup is serviceable , vermicelli is not good. Quality of beef is good, quality of chicken is terrible. They run out of bread. Decent pho although maybe not my favorite (ok broth, clumpy noodles). There were no different bowl sizes so I wanted a smaller pho and got the kids portion; beware that it's not really the same. No pho sprouts, etc given and the bowl is pretty tiny (mostly noodles, less broth). Next time I may just split a larger pho with my kid. My family and I were suuuuuper impressed with Pho Claire. In a world full of pancake houses, all-you-can-eats, and calabash seafood spots, Myrtle Beach has been sorely lacking in international flavor and bright, clean eateries. I'm so happy that Pho Claire has come to the Grand Strand. Looking at the menu online, I was drawn in by the build-your-own summer rolls. Nearly every ingredient is up to you. Prefer grilled pork instead of steamed? You got it. Not a fan of cilantro? Skip it! I ordered my summer rolls with grilled shrimp and without bean sprouts. They were perfect, and the peanut sauce they came with was incredible. I was able to try the rare beef pho, the grilled pork bun, and the virgin pho-jito during my trip, too, and everything was great. My only complaint was that the boba in my mango bubble tea was mostly stuck together, so I couldn't get many tapioca pearls through my straw. We were seated immediately after two large parties came in, and our server was still able to take our order and bring our food out in a reasonable amount of time. Each employee that interacted with our party was kind, helpful, and friendly. Lastly I wanted to mention that Pho Claire is doing a great job managing business through COVID regulations. Every employee we saw was wearing a mask. I saw someone sanitizing and wiping down a stack of menus, and tables are marked off to ensure proper social distancing. My party of four all felt safe and cared for during our visit. Overall, I've added Pho Claire to the short list of spots to return to on future trips to Myrtle Beach. read more

If you are from California and had good pho, skip this one. My husband had the Vietnamese sandwich and the meat is not tender. The flavor of the meat was bland too. I am not even Vietnamese nor a chef, but I can cook better than this restaurant. Pho here, the broth is watered down. They give you very little protein. My meatball pho, meatballs were sliced thin. Maybe I got 2 meatballs and they made 8 think pieces. I guess competition is very slim so you don't need to make good food? I will not be coming back. Don't serve rare beef pho if not served in the restaurant as the beef is raw and you he broth is not hot enough to cook the beef at your destination and the summer rolls had far to much cellophane noodles as filler, also think about Naoc cham dipping sauce along with the hoisin peanut sauce which was very good. read more

First impressions of the establishment is that it has a clean and modern appearance which encouraged me to try it out! My favorite dish at this type of restaurant is the shrimp summer roll and I LOVED theirs! The thing that I liked about theirs the most is that the entire roll was encased in the noodle that they have so it was easy to hold and eat without it falling apart in your hand and the peanut dipping sauce was the bomb! Of course we didn't expect $1 pho haha but it was weird to put that without any other details. Secondly the pho was $10.99 on the menu. We were all charged $11.99. We don't mind paying that, but don't mislead customers like that. It is deceiving and bad business practice. Now the $12 bowl of pho. That is on the steep side as it didn't have much meat. Bowl sized was good however. Broth was good. A bit murky but good flavor. Noodles cooked perfectly. Garnishing was just a tiny tiny tiny piece of lemon (lime is much preferred in pho) and the smallest amount of bean sprouts I ever seen served in a pho restaurant. Tiniest stem of basil as well. While visiting Myrtle Beach, we decided to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint! We went around lunch time and were immediately seated. Our waiter was able to provide suggestions to help us order. We started with spring rolls and had pho for our main entree. The spring rolls were vegetarian, filled with fresh vegetables and paired with yummy peanut sauce. The serving was enough for two people to share. The pho was amazing as well. It came with fresh veggies to add to the broth and of course jalapeños for some spicy flavors. The food did not disappoint! We also received excellent service from our waiter John, who was very compassionate and patient. Hostess greeted us as soon as we walked in and we were seated immediately, we did go just about right at opening so they weren't too busy as of yet. Food was great and service was outstanding. Will definitely come again. Going by other pictures I really wanted the shrimp bruschetta but was bummed when I read it isn't served until 4:00pm. So next time I'll come then! I first became a fan last fall during a 1 week vacation in Myrtle & my brother & I visited everyday for one of our daily meals. Everything is so fresh & def one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've ever had with it being my favorite type of cuisine. One of the owners there have been nothing but welcoming & gave fantastic service every time we went in. Fast forward 7 months, I came here again this time with my GF 4 out of 5 days I was in Myrtle for a quick getaway & Tony recognized me right away & gave us a warm welcome. Came into Pho Claire on a whIm, after finding a competing Vietnamese restaurant closed just after lunch. Turned out to be a happy accident. First, the place is spotless and nIcely appointed. I'm originally from NYC and I've eaten countless Vietnamese meals while serving in Vietnam in that most unfortunate war. Vietnamese restaurants are not always as nicely decorated or as clean as Pho Claire is, which sets the stage for a nice experience. The pho was as good as most of the best I've had, and you can tell it's a 'long' broth made from bones and such. Someone's definitely up at night starting the soup. Didn't see cha gio on the menu, which I i always like to start with but it may have been there and I just missed it. The banh mi was delicious but while it had the roast pork it was missing the sliced ham. I did not Detect pate on the baguette, but again, it may have been there. In any case, Pho Claire is a good and well intentioned approximation of expected qualitY Vietnamese food, and in clean and pleasant surroundings. The server, Karla, did a very nice job and was most affable. My wife and I i will definitely be back! Especially if Pho Claire dims the lighting for dinner hours.
