I have been dying to try this place out, after passing here often on route around Greenwich, just a few minutes from Greenwich Station and DLR.
And I was not disappointed.
I tried their rare beef pho, and my partner, their chargrilled pork vermicelli and salad, which he loved. We shared a plate of the prawn roll to start with. Nicely presented and tasty flavours. The dipping sauce was different, more plum than peanut.
My bowl of rare beef pho came with plentiful fresh pho, no skimping here, that it's never enough. The broth was hot and tasty, how it should be too. To accompany it was a side of bean sprouts, thai basil, a lime wedge and sliced jalapenos if you like it spicier! The rare beef was lovely and tender.
A very satisfying meal, and definitely will return, especially, I see they have live lobsters on the menu, and seems to be their speciality. On this occasion, we did nor order it, as we only had a limited time for our meal, it would be too short to enjoy and savour the lobster, so will return! read more
