Also, the food was delivered to the table, although made fresh to order, promptly and with courtesy. As for quality of the food - it was excellent, especially the pho. The pho was the best pho I have ever tasted, and will be what I get probably every time I eat here moving forward. When one can indulge in a gastronomical experience of that caliber, why ever deviate? However, this was my lady's meal, so I sampled but did not devour. I had ordered #4: their pork Vietnamese noodle salad. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which was plentiful, tasty (it also included shrimp) and barbequed. My companion ordered a strawberry matcha and the vegetarian bún: nice and herby and green, but lacking that good flavor (chili, acid) in the Nước Chấm fish sauce. It shouldn't be solely up to sriracha to get a dish to the right flavors. In all, a nice spot aesthetically and friendly staff but while dishes had super fresh veg and some solid proteins, other proteins were overcooked and our dishes were missed some of the flavors we love to see in Vietnamese food.

I was nervous that it wouldn't live up to our memory. Vivi's had moved around the corner from their old location-a cute, cozy little cafe-but their new restaurant is more spacious, hopefully to accommodate the flocks of diners that their food merits. I previously thought I didn't like papaya-I was mistaken. It was a unique and refreshing dish that I would 100% go back for.
