Environment: it's a small area but this is the only Thai place in the mall so it's good to have it! It's closer to The North Face side...the right side of the outlet if you view from the freeway. Staff: friendly and kind Food: 1. Tofu Pad Thai: it was good! Freshly made and the noodles were still a bit bouncy, not mushy or sticky. The flavors were well balanced, not overly sweet or salty. The tofu texture was nice, a little chewy and it soaked up the flavors. 2. Pork Pad See Ew: also piping hot and didn't overcook the noodles. The portions were very reasonable and we even had some leftovers! The pork was surprisingly tender. Usually Thai restaurants have really dry or rough meat but here, it was really good! Every single time when I visit Woodburn Outlet, I will stop here. Their food is so fresh and it is made to order. I absolutely love how generous the thai milk tea is size wise for the cost. My favorite go to dishes are the avocado curry, green curry, yellow curry, chicken satay and the spring rolls. Not only is everything made fresh, the staff is incredibly patient and friendly. It's an outlet mall eatery. Order and pick up your food when it's ready. It's not a table service restaurant. Paper plates, plastic utensils, cafeteria tray etc type of place. But, the food is tasty and of good quality. It's not my first time eating here, but it has been a while since my last visit (over 1 yr). I ordered Red Curry Chicken spice level three, it took less than 10 minutes from placing my order and receiving it. It came in a plastic liquid food container with a side of rice in a separate paper container and paper plate for serving. Red Curry was on par with other Thai restaurants I frequent. The price is similar too. Some may think it's a high price of 13.95, but it's not (inflation). Oh I got lucky, shortly after I placed my order, a crowd of people showed up; there was a wait line to place your order. Only plastic utensils for dine-in, 4. And the most frustrating part of giving the curry in a small full bowl and the rice on the side without something big enough to put them both in to actually dine-in, mix and eat it (and yes, my husband asked repeatedly for a larger bowl to no avail) it made eating very difficult. This place used to be better. It's now gone down hill. It's a rip-off. We ordered two different plates ( one beef with noodles and one chicken with cashews ). They were both lacking in meat to the point we were hungry again after a short time. The beef noodles were salty. Both dishes were overly oily. The chicken dish had just a few flat slices of meat ( about two inches long ) and there was very few cashews; there was an abundance of onions though. Also they served us the food in plastic plates with covers although I indicated we were eating there. The customer service is lacking - not very friendly. I will not be coming back. read more

My relatives from Japan were visiting, and of course a trip to Woodburn Outlet Mall where all the name brands were in one spot was a must on their list! I'm not one for 3 hour shopping trips, so I decided to find somewhere that had vegan options where I could chill while they shopped till they dropped. I saw POPular Thai and decided to see if they had vegan options. At first, I didn't hold out much hope. The place was very small without a lot of tables. But the man at the counter was able to let me know what items were able to be veganized. I ordered the salad rolls with peanut sauce and pad kee mao. I was able to find a small table, soon my number was called. I was a little disappointed that everything was in to go containers. But I figured that saves on dishwashing. I was pleasantly surprised that the salad rolls were really fresh and delicious and the peanut sauce was perfect! Wish I would have gotten two of the peanut sauce since I had two salad rolls. Then I took a bite of the pad kee mao and disappointment took over. Very bland. Maybe because it was vegan? Not sure..but I would not order it again. We both ordered Pad Thai, he with shrimp and me with chicken. I felt there was a very minimal amount of shrimp or chicken. We ordered a spicy level of 2 stars for me and 3 for him but found both to be difficult to consume due to the heat. He finally just tossed the other 2/3 of his in the trash. As I can't blame anyone but us for ordering too much heat, but as this clearly isn't our first time ordering this dish, it was the first time we ever threw away our food due to heat.
