    24. Tom Yum Noodle Soup

Highly recommend!!! Tom Yum Noodle Soup is always the best. Big portion with loads of meat. Good service. Never disappointed with this restaurant.

Great Food and awesome customer service. It was during their lunch special from 11-3pm and not a lot of people so it was nice and peaceful. I got the #17 which was pork fried rice with egg, peppers and onions and ordered it spicy! Super delish! We also order Teriyaki Salmon and side of veggies which was also delicious! For appetizers we ordered crab puffs and veggie rolls. Superb! We ate most of the appetizers before pics. lol. Check them out!!!

    12. Tom Kha Chicken Soup

Service was great. Atmosphere is clean and pleasant. Food is fabulous as well and well priced.

Large portions, quick service and delicious food. I've tried a few Thai places around town with take out/doordash during the Covid stay at home order and they were nowhere near as good or hot as this place. Edit: After ordering from this place a few times due to the amount of mistakes and the fact that I ordered pad see ew and they gave me dry thin pad Thai noodles with no gravy sauce I had to change my rating. Maybe it depends who's in the kitchen.

Thai food has such incredible flavors but it took a few visits to find the right dishes for my wife and my palette. Discovering the brown rice was the beginning of our changing opinion of Thai Beer's food. Burgundy is the color of this toothsome rice that makes a sturdy base for Crispy Basil Chicken that keeps you wanting the next bite. Our other favorite is Khao Soi or Curried Noodles with spaghetti noodles, choice of meat, sprouts, a few raw shallot slices, crunchy topping and a squeeze of lime. Oh and orangy-yellow curry sauce. We've been eating it for a year without growing tired or wanting any other dish.

Ordered red curry on Door Dash. Was the most bland curry I've paid for. The tofu was dry. Portion was smaller than other Thai restaurants

The most bland Thai food I've ever had. Everything about my meal was subpar. I should've known, with such an asinine name.

Hands down the best Thai food in South Salem (there are 5 Thai restaurants plus the Blue Thai truck…read morein South Salem--I recommend all but one). And easily the best Thai in South Salem, West Salem, or Keizer. Have only tried one place on Lancaster, so I can't claim it's the best in Salem. The chef/owner makes all of her own sauces and Thai curries from scratch and they are all amazing compared to all the commercial premade sauces and curry pastes used by almost everyone else. Her homemade Pad Thai sauce blew my wife and I away, and she doesn't skimp on it like other places. You could taste the freshly soaked tamarind and lots of other awesome flavors. Her homemade Thai yellow curry in the Golden Chicken curry (totally different than Indian yellow curry) was floral and very tasty--unlike any other Thai yellow curry I've had elsewhere. Highly recommend the Golden Chicken curry, the Shrimp Ceramic Pot with what appeared to be tasty mung beans noodles, and of course the Pad Thai. The Thai basil chicken was good another time, but wasn't significantly better than other places. My wife ordered a side of peanut sauce (because most places skimp on their pad thai sauce they probably buy at an Asian grocery store) but there was too much going on in it for us--plus when the Pad Thai arrived, it needed nothing added to it, was perfect as it was. But I bet that homemade peanut sauce would be awesome if cooked into something else, which is probably what it's for. The salt and pepper fried calamari was also great--and cut differently than any other Thai or Chinese restaurant in Salem. I ordered my dishes "spicy" and they really weren't hot at all--catered to an American palette--I drizzled some of her hot chile oil on, and was great. We also love dining in here as opposed to takeout. The seating is spacious, spread out enough, and the atmosphere is quiet with some low volume music. The decor is obviously Thai, but in no way overdone or gaudy. Very relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of people came in both times I've gone to pick up take-out orders, so I'm sure it's good. The location is on the east side of South Commercial up in that elevated strip mall before you get to Kuebler across from MAPS Credit Union. We are definitely going back there a 3rd time--and hopefully I'll order something new instead of reordering what I already know is amazing--which will probably be hard for me, because I'm already craving what I've already had. Service was also very friendly and attentive. The owner/chef made several trips around the dining room to make sure everyone's meals were fine. If I had three hands, I'd give this place three enthusiastic thumbs up!

Once we found it, parked, and went in the experience dramatically improved. The hostess was very friendly and it really does feel like you're in someone's home to get a meal. I ordered the Pad Thai with soft tofu and the Massaman Curry. My coworker ordered the Pad Thai with beef. The meal was excellent. Large portions, well seasoned, and it felt like the chef really cared about the food. Thai Iced tea wasn't oversweetened, it really tasted like rich black tea and condensed milk instead of just sugar like so many places. We will absolutely be returning again.

We share it family style, and it was all delicious. The Jasmine tea is also very good. Our server was funny and friendly. I imagine that she owns the place. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. The outside of the building is a bit run down and iffy looking, but who cares? Just go inside, and forget about the outside needing a paint job. We will be back!
