Came here with a few friends for lunch on a Sunday and was expecting to order pho but decided to try something new instead. We all ordered their bowls that had rice noodles, veggies, and a selection of meat or fish. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. Super yummy and super duper flavorful. I had shrimp and crab egg rolls and I could not get enough of it. Place was overall not too big and the service was pleasant and decent for the most part.

Opt for the pho and the nems (fried spring rolls wrapped in lettuce; 4 pieces per serving). I tried the Saigonese Pho which consisted of a whole slew of things such as pork, chicken, shrimp, and quail eggs in a flavorful, clear broth. There's no need to add any hoisin sauce, fish sauce, or any other sauces to this broth; there's no need to tamper around with it. This broth is tasty. Just a squeeze of lime, some mint, and beansprouts and you're ready to eat!

We started off with the beef carpacio for appetizer. My husband ordered the pork chop rice plate and I ordered the chicken and pork rice plate. All three dishes that we ordered were delicious! From day one I was looking forward to eating great Vietnamese food and now I think I found it. This is my first time eating beef carpacio. What exactly is beef carpacio? It is an Italian dish consisting of raw or partially cooked beef, cut into thin slices and served with arugula and a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice and Parmesan shavings. However, this beef carpacio was served raw with really big leafed cilantro, red peppers, green onions cut into little pieces, white onions into thin slices and top off with crushed peanuts. The best part of this dish is the sauce! I think they mixed in fish sauce, sugar, lemon and pour it onto the dish. It was so appetizing! I usually can't stand raw meat, but this dish got me woofing it down quickly. Our rice plates were excellent. My meat was done very well. The grilled pork and chicken were very good. The service was excellent, they were very busy by the time we arrived, around 8:30pm. We got seated within 10 minutes, pretty fast service. The food came out hot and they smelled great! Overall excellent experience. Great food and great ambience. Our dishes were around 8 Euroes each, which isn't bad. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends and family! :) Ambience: A Price:A- Service:A Food:A++++

tasty Vietnamese food in this China town area...very popular restaurant and busy all the time. I tried the Vietnamese spring roll and chicken pho and chicken lemongrass with rice.soft flat noodles with tiny shrimps also not bad. overall the service is quite good.

The food here is so good that I have decided to try to learn some of the proper Vietnamese names for them. =GLOSSARY= - Cha giò or Nem rán: Vietnamese fried spring rolls - Nuoc cham or nuoc mam pha: the fish sauce dip - Bún thit nuong: A bowl of dry rice noodles with grilled meat and other garnishes on top (there are other varieties and names) - Pho: Vietnamese noodle soup This is the type of stuff that I eat in Toronto - proper, flavourful, awesome pho. But what they make better in general in Paris than Toronto, and amazingly at this place, is the friend spring rolls! I have no idea why that despite this place has been around for so long (the sign indicated the 80s but the decor is newly renovated within the last few years and menu as well) it has never been on my radar...oh I know why...there were no Yelp reviews! Now that they have been appearing staggeringly...this tiny little place will soon be exploding....well unless you define their current state to already be if the exploding state. Reading the review by Omid T, it would seem that they used to have various locations, one of which is near Disney, but despite my research, i have not figured out the status of them. When we went, it was already pretty late on a Friday night, around 9pm and the place is brimming with people with nowhere to stand. The place is modern and squishy. We got a seat relatively quickly and were placed in a corner. We ordered crab spring roll(Nem Cua Be) to start, a grilled pork rice noodle bowl, and a house pho (for beer they only had heineken and saigon in bottles). The crab spring roll came with giant lettuce you had to rip yourself and the fish sauce. It was perfectly fried. The grilled pork on the vermicelli bowl was really good, and it came with pork spring rolls and your typical garnishings. The pho -if you are looking for proper southern pho, this is where you would find it. It comes with rare beef, cooked beef, beef tendon, tripe, and beef balls. Bear in mind that the tripe is not your chinese tasting tripe, but french tasting and i wasn't used to it. The beef balls are tiny versions. You can customize your meat selections if you need to - the price is all the same 8 EUR for a small, and 8.50 for large. If you dont tell them, they will give you the large. For 50 centimes more, why not? Next timei come, I'm going to do it around noon try their Saigonese pho special and get a nice cup of their vietnamese coffee!!
