Another lovely Pho Anh Vu location with the same authentic flavours and great service. 10% grand opening discount Beautiful and clean dining room. Washrooms were also clean and spacious. They offer all your basic pho soup noodles and bun vermicelli and more. They also have a great smoothing, fruit juice and dessert selection. They're definitely one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the Durham region.

I've been to Pho Anh Vu in Scarborough, so when they opened in Whitby, I had to check them out. I was joined by a longtime friend who lives not too far away. She ordered a vermicelli dish with grilled chicken and spring roll, while I had their special bone marrow pho. We were quite surprised at the extra large portions that we received, and quite happy with the flavours. The vermicelli dish was very tasty and my friend had to take home leftovers - enough for another meal. The pho dish arrived in two bowls, with some massive bones in both dishes. It tasted great but was a bit awkward to eat. I ended up with a mess on my shirt. I should have had a bib! The food was good and the decor was tastefully attractive, with lots of hanging lanterns and flora. The service was very good. We'll be back! 4.5/5.0

We have seen many pho places popping up in Durham Region. That is absolutely welcoming development! Today, we were here at Pho Anh Vu. I have been to Toronto location (Dufferin St) before and I remember I liked it very much. I am so happy that they opened a new location in Whitby! We (3 of us) had the following: #18. PHỞ TÁI NẠM (Rare Beef & Well Done Flank Rice Noodle Soup) #15. PHỞ ĐẶC BIỆT My hubby had #18 Large size. He was SOOOO happy about the soup came out piping hot and plenty! I had #18 (Small) and asked rare beef separately on the side (not in soup). I want rare beef to be really close to rare lol. I was right - because the soup is really hot (love it), IF I did not ask them to serve the rare beef separately, the meat could have been cooked through by the time it arrived at the table. Also, when rare beef is ordered on the side, it comes with extra shredded green onions and coriander (bonus). The soup has depth, hot, and it had super generous amount of tender frank beef! Adding tender rare beef to each bite took me to heaven! My daughter had #15. As my husband, she was so happy about generous portion. She thought of ordering XL but sounds like L was big enough for this young active athlete lol. We all liked the - Temperature of the soup (hot!) - Use of plenty of coriander - Generous amount of meat - The HUGE portion (esp L) Service was friendly and quick. Payment is not at the table but the front counter. Parking is plenty. Happy!!!

Grand opening of pho anh vu Whitby!! This is very exciting and this might the the most pretty and spacious pho anh vu yet ;) From july 5th-july 19th they're offering 10% OFF your whole bill and if you spend over $100 you get to join their lucky draw to win either free food, air fryer, ipad or a TV... this is a crazy deal!! ( I WON A IPAD!!) This is definitely one of the legit vietnamese restaurants in the Gta, so glad to see them grow even bigger! The interior in the restaurant is super modern, bright yellow and emerald green. Definitely get the pho dai biet, broken rice plate, bun bo hue, chicken wings! Service was very fast and there was workers everywhere making sure everything was okay! The atmosphere is super nice and loved how all the tables had great space between them, so you do get a lot of room! They also had a lot booth stands, so definitely a plus ;) we love comfy seats. Lots of natural lighting as well. Cute photo op in the front of the restaurant as well. This location is definitely able to accommodate for big parties! as there is so many seats. The restroom as well was very clean and roomy. Parking shouldn't be hard, as it's a very big plaza! PLEAASEEE go if you're ever in the whitby ever and live near by Prices are quite reasonable as well for the flavour you're getting!!

The food is amazing at most locations but the service at this location was the best. The owner came to us and made sure we were taken care of.

I came here twice during COVID times and finally decided to do a review …read more Ordered: XL house special pho and chicken / pork vermicelli with spring rolls Price- tad more expensive than regular pho places . Both were close to $12 each Size - portion was smaller than regular pho places especially the pho. The extra large felt like a regular sized . Also less meat .. Taste - more bland than regular pho places . The pho had to be the most bland soup I've ever tasted . Vermicelli was ok , tad more bland than what I'm use to but I didn't mind it Final comments - the thing that I really didn't like was they didn't give us any fresh herbs for the pho . It tasted almost like chicken soup with a tad bit beef flavor The first time I thought they must have forgotten it but same thing second time ! Also no peanuts on the vermicelli...and no tendons in our special pho O.o

I got 2 oz of beef in a large... Scarborough gives you 6 oz. I'm litterally eating a plain soup. Lol The flavours are their the portions are not. This location is 13 mins from my house while the other location is 24 I'd rather the extra 10 minutes to get proper pho than waste my money hear. It sucks to leave a bad reviews during a pandemic but it is what it is. Don't rip off customers. I'll just continue going to the Scarborough location

The restaurant is large and spacious inside with lots of booths. Lots of people waiting for pickup too. Ordered the B1 vermicelli combo with assorted meats, a spring roll, and a small beef brisket pho. Everything was tasty. Spring roll was skinny and could have pack more into it but it was pretty good. Love the pho. The the broth was just right, meat was tender. Really happy with the pho. Will be back!

We got two vermicelli bowls aka bun ( house special and pork/spring roll vermicelli), two house special pho, 1 bun bo hue, 1 spring roll and 1 avocado smoothie ! The bun was so tasteless .. noodles were not like the regular Viet vermicelli but more like the Chinese style noodles and more dry . The meat tasted like curry and not like regular grilled meat .. it was also in a skewer format . The spring roll was weird, it's like a bunch of scrap ingredients were put into it forming the spring roll. The texture was soo strange - I've never ate anything like this ! The pho was very salty and did not have the beef bone taste ! They also didn't give any culantro or perilla ( purple leaf herb ) and only gave basil ! The avocado smoothie also tasted off - didn't personally try this but my Bro's gf said she had better ! The most disappointing was the fish sauce which was lacking fish sauce taste .. it was very weak tasting ! Overall , I was disappointed at my experience here and would not come back . 1 star for friendly staff and 1 star for the location - it was easy to find !

Tofu fresh roll is ridiculous with super small piece of tofu. The pho broth is tasty. The spring rolls is good. The pickled carrot/radish is not as good as other places, but considering it is mostly just a garnish (even though I eat it), it's acceptable, I guess. Grilled chicken vermicelli is delicious. The tofu fresh roll is a complete waste of money. Two thick rolls thats filled with noodles, some veg, and a small piece of tofu that's as long as, but HALF as thick as my thumb (about 2inches long, 3/4inch wide, 1/2cm thick), is not worth $10. It's just tofu, it's not steak, either put more tofu or lower the price, because that is ridiculous. Including pic of the tofu fresh roll cut to show the size of the tofu thats actually hidden under all the noodles until I pull it out to the front. When we went in, the whole place smelled like cleaning solution. Not a very appetitizing smell at all. We got the food to go.
