This place is terrible. To start, we received terrible service from the moment we walked in. Our server was rude, short tempered and obviously looked too annoyed/unhappy to be bothered. It took 15 minutes for the server to come by and finally receive our order. (Keep in mind it's a small place) Once he came out with our pho, he asked us if this was our order with no context in an extremely rude way. When I stated "I'm not really sure I can't see the bowl" he got frustrated and walked away and threw our bowls in an empty table and began talking shit to his other coworker. He then went and served another table and came by and stated "THIS IS UR ORDER" and threw the bowls on the table. I have never been treated this way and audibly said "You didn't have to be so rude" and was immediately frustrated at the situation. It is not my job to figure out who's bowls you are carrying... The pho was not good. My husband and I love going to Pho Vy in Parker (You should check that place out if you want REAL pho and great service) This pho was awful, they water down the broth so much that it has no flavor. No matter how hard you try to season it with lemon, hot sauce, and ginger, it's too watered down. The server came by and threw forks on our table and i once again was frustrated at the situation and audibly stated "You are not going to get a tip from me" and that is when he began to get nicer and started sending another one of his coworkers to our table. I have never in my life NOT given a tip but with how awful and mistreated we were, I did not leave a single tip. Would give ZERO stars if it were possible. read more

As the temperature drops in CO so shouldn't your food. It's best to have something warm and hearty that isn't a heart attack. If you've never had pho "fuh" then it's time to get some culture in your life-and what great place to start than here at pho 777. Pho is a Vietnamese rice noodle dish that has a broth that usually takes about 8 hours to make or more using beef or chicken for the stock. Accompanied with some spices during the cooking process, it's is then paired with rice noodles and meat; where you can then add in toppings such as bean sprouts, lime, and basil. The beauty with this dish is that you can "tune" your noodles(is how I like to say it). I prefer my soup to be a bit sour-ish, so I squeeze about 3 limes and add in a half teaspoon of pepper. So let's say it's a lime-pepper flavor. You can add in Hoison sauce (Vietnamese bbq sauce) and a touch or alot of Sriracha for a sweet and spicy flavor. Or just add either for a single flavor or you can add nothing at all. This is America, you have the freedom to make your noodles any way you'd like it. OKAY END OF LESSON, LET'S TALK ABOUT PHO 777 AND THEIR NOODLES! This was the second place I've had pho in CO and coming from a place where pho houses are commonplace, I can honestly say this was pretty good. My last experience having pho in CO was not good, it had a strong star anise profile in the broth which made my friends and I not feel good leaving with a headache. Good thing my friends were not too scared to give things a second try, and so she found this place. Then when my gf and I came to visit, she and her husband took us out to pho777 and we were just blown away. There was hope that there was great asian food in Aurora, and the hope was instilled with pho777. I would say their broth that day had a little extra cinnamon flavor but it was too good to complain. Also be prepared to eat, I only ordered a small bowl with flank meat and man did they add alot of meat to mine. I ordered the beef spring rolls too and man was that just refreshing! The beef is marinated with lemongrass and if you don't know what that is, just order it. Its just a great and wonderful taste! In conclusion, this place gave me a great experience and everything was great from start to finish. The service and food were amazing, so I'm telling you to go to pho777 for your next meal, especially if you've never had pho. They'll take care of you and show you what it's all about. read more

This is our favorite Pho! Their broth is amazing. Sping rolls and egg rolls are the best I've ever had. Service is not always the best. Language barrier is present and they seem to always be in a hurry. Nonetheless, my glass is always refilled on time and I've always had my meal correct. Food gets a 6/5 stars!! Service is 4/5 stars. The atmosphere was what you would expect at a typical vietnamese restaurant. People who said that the service was "rude" are just not used to these types of restaurants and customs. Asian restaurants tend to not bother you as much and they can't speak fluent english (but hey, atleast they can!) If you expect a talkative server, you won't get it here. Personally, I'm okay with not talking while I eat. Other than that, I got my food and it was amazing. I personally think that the Pho was average. It was good. The eggrolls are amazing and crispy. This is only Pho restaurant in Castle Rock. Pho is ok but too pricy for a Pho n taste like the soup was made from Pho flavored power or liquid. Can't say I'm overwhelmed, but I'm far from underwhelmed. On a cold, snowy night, I wanted some pho to-go, and here, I found pho to-go. Good, hot, flavorful broth (I had the rare steak) as expected and fresh veggies to go with. Also had some crab cheese wontons to go with and those were tasty and hot, as expected. I took a look at the tri-county listing and it was more than disheartening,especially to see so many people in there and reading other reviews recommended this restaurant: 7 Nov 2013: 01b - Critical Food Source: Wholesome, Free of Spoilage. This was complied on Complied on: 11/18/2013. 7 Nov 2013: Critical, Food Borne Illness Risk -- Food Temperature Control: Cold Hold at 41'F or Less. Inspector Comments: Lettuce was 68°F on the cooks' line preparation table. Chicken was 49°F in the cooks' line cold top. Complied on: 11/18/2013 7 Nov 2013: Critical Sanitation Rinse: Manual. Inspector Comments: An employee was observed washing and rinsing but not sanitizing a baking sheet in the three compartment sink. Complied on: 11/18/2013 On 14 Aug 2013, was another inspection. There were pretty much the same issues and they were fixed within one week. Another issue was:Critical Pest Control: Pesticide Application, Unapproved Pesticides Used. Inspector Comments: A sticky trap fly trap was present above a slicer and food preparation table. To be fair, this was my first experience at Pho. My brother could eat a bowl a soup every meal. Me, not so much. The place was busy, busy. Service was pretty quick, but quite honestly, it's a bowl of noodles. Not a huge fan. Tasted fine, but not what I would go for if I'm hungry. read more

The service isnt great which already leaves a terrible taste in your mouth. Trust me, I get cultural differences and demeanors but the rudeness i encountered is definitely unnecessary. The food isn't great. Being that this is the only pho place in castle rock they don't have a lot of competition. The broth is watered down and there isn't a lot of flavor. I can bet that the egg rolls are frozen. You can find better frozen egg rolls at king soopers. Do yourself a favor and save your pho craving for another location. read more

Castle Rock needs a Vietnamese restaurant that can double as a lunch and dinner atmosphere. The food is great and so is the service. Unfortunately it resembles a daytime lunch place, bright, Spartan furnishings and chilly. More like a fast food hamburger joint. I would encourage the owners to put in some indoor outdoor carpeting, window shades and some furniture. The idea is to create a warmer cozy quieter setting - a little more privacy for the dining booths and tables. The location is ok - its just the atmosphere is like I said - a daytime drop in for food or take and leave. A large screen TV or 2 set to ESPN and MSNBC and a bar would be a real plus. I got Pho to go and they packaged everything nicely so that it was still hot and fresh. The noodles and accompaniments were packaged separately so that the noodles didn't get mushy before I picked it up and got it home. The broth is flavorful and they accommodated my request for extra jalapeños by a lot (probably 5 whole ones total!). I got flank and brisket and some of the meat was a little fatty for my taste, which is one of the only bad things I can say. Pickup was fast and easy. I'd highly recommend! read more

It's hard not to love Pho! It's warm and comforting and magically nutritious. I grew up in the Bay Area where the Pho cup raneth over...I would like to believe that I grew up with some of the best Pho one could have in the US. I do believe Pho777 could hang in the Bay IMO. I first came to Pho777 with my cousin- a Colorado native at heart and a culinary brat by profession. I was skeptical at first because I usually don't eat Asian food away from the coasts (seafood isn't as trustworthy unless you like hugging the toilet after a raunchy make-out session with "fresh oysters" somewhere away from a coastline). I was surprised to find myself inhaling a large bowl of Pho just as soon as it was served to me (and it was pretty much as quick as it should always be- speedy Gonzalez quick). I came here multiple times as I would often drive to and fro Denver to Colorado Springs and the service was consistent. If I wanted more of anything I would get it in generous amounts and fast. The quality of the broth was always on point and that's pretty much all you can ask for when searching for good pho. The most recent time I came was with my father (see image). He was also very pleased with this place but were a bit disheartened when we would joke around with one of the servers who was very dull...maybe we were just clowning too much or simply delirious from sweating so hard (I call these the soup sweats or soup delirium). Anyhow- for a place away from a coastline I have got to say that pho777 is not bad at all. I would rather wait to have pho at pho777 than anywhere in Denver. Despite a new pho place that has opened closer to our house in Castle Pines, we still prefer to eat in or take out from Pho 777 in Castle Rock. All the dishes are generous portions, very tasty, and incredibly affordable. The location is central to plenty of other shopping, if that's part of your agenda.
