First timer. Excited to have a pho place close to work. Ordered the bahn mi pork sandwich and shrimp & pork eggrolls. Sandwich was excellent. Pork had great flavor, and not fatty. Bread was fresh and soft. Pickled veggies were fresh (wish there was a little more, need to ask for extra next time). Eggrolls were delish - it included fresh veggies and a dipping sauce. The one star is solely on their lack of communication and service. Although Yelp shows them open 24/7, Friday's and Saturday's they close at midnight according to the sign on their door. This place is beautiful and the pho here is the best pho I ever had and the boba is on point. This is real Vietnamese food here and I give 11/10 stars. Thank you for making my day all the time here. I prefer the #12 because of all the variety of the beef and the quality is great too. The boba is refreshing when you drink it. All the flavors are tasty and make you go "Wow this is really good". My husband and I love Sierra Noodle house and their Pho. When this place opened we got excited because it's three minutes from the house. Since it was gloomy and cold today we decided to try it out. When we walked in there was not a soul in sight. After about two minutes someone finally walked out and told us to sit anywhere on the left side of the restaurant. We sat and a different gal came over and asked us for our drinks. She was quick with the drinks, then took our order. We told her we wanted to shrimp & pork egg rolls to start, I ordered the Pho with thin sliced steak and my husband the flat noodles with shrimp. More people started to come in and dine and we weren't the only ones there anymore. Maybe less than 10 minutes later she brought out my husbands dish. I thought wow that's fast service, but mine did not follow. One thing I hate the most is not getting your food at the same time. I was growing frustrated when my husband saw her bringing out my soup, telling me that it was coming. NOPE she gave it to the table behind us(people that showed up way later than we did) Guess he ordered the same thing as me. Finally my soup showed up. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Almost done my husband told her that we were still waiting on our eggs rolls. Waitress looked at him confused, she walked away came back and said they are going to make them now. Great I was already full. WISH I would have taken a picture of this. Two egg rolls came out toasty crispy and yummy. The other two were completely cold. Hmm. Never did the waitress apologize for the mishap nor did she come by to ask how we were doing. My husband had to ask for our refills on drinks. Seemed like they were too focused on the customers picking up orders or ordering to go. No one came to bring our check, so I went to the counter to pay my bill. She asks if I am picking up or ordering to go(back to my last point) I told her no, no one brought our check I am ready to go. She gave me my receipt and no other words exchanged. I had to ask for a to go container too. Sad thing is, I will probably not each here anymore but will order for pick up since that it the only way to get better service from them(Also because our dishes were really good). I was so excited to try this place but i left very disappointed. I went with my husband and when we walked in, they greeted us and sat us. Great...off to a good start. The waiter was not knowledgeable on drinks. After ordering, my husbands food came out pretty quick. But I waited about 10 minutes after for my food to arrive. My husband asked for no shrimp in his house pad thai but when he recieved it there was shrimp inside. When he told our waiter, he was so unprofessional about it, just hysterically laughing away. Im sure he was trying to make light of the situation but at the same time um no sir apologize for the inconvenience and be professional. They bring his second plate but this one is still incorrect. A third time and they finally get it right. Now, the way my seat was positioned I could see clearly into part of the kitchen. I saw the lady who greeted us in the beginning, who is also a cashier, in the kitchen. What was she doing? She was grabbing the rice noodles with her BARE HANDS and putting it into this net looking thing to be steamed. So yes I am telling you that this same women who is handling cash transactions at the register is also going back and forth to the kitchen touching food with those same dirty hands. I DONT THINK SO.
