Toppings were very generous and consisted of fish cake, sliced pork, shrimp, pork liver, fried shallot, veggies and bean sprouts on the bottom. -Pho Dac Biet with Short rib: pho broth is very full and like how my mom makes at home! The short rib falls off the bone and is so tasty. Amazing portion size as well. -Che Thai: I love all of their desserts. Che Thai had coconut jelly, pandan jelly, longan, jackfruit, toddy palm seed, red rubies, etc. topping galore!! Service is super fast and workers are very friendly. Can't wait to come back and try different items off their menu!!

Had a great experience at Monkey Lounge in Randolph and honestly was surprised by how unique the…read moreatmosphere was. The inside has a really fun upscale lounge vibe with colorful lighting, floral decor, hanging lanterns, and a huge centerpiece tree that makes the whole space feel almost like you are dining in a tropical garden. It feels trendy and lively without being overly loud, which made it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. For drinks, I ordered the mai tai and one of their mocktails. Both were well presented and came in beautiful glasses. The mai tai was refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like many places make them. The mocktail was also excellent and felt thoughtfully made rather than just tasting like juice. For food, the short ribs pho was fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was generous with tender pieces of meat. Definitely one of the better pho presentations I have had in the area. I also ordered the sizzling steak pate with baguette, which came out hot and smelled amazing. The steak was tender and savory, the egg added richness, and pairing everything with the fresh baguette made for a really satisfying dish. Overall Monkey Lounge delivers on both ambiance and food quality. It feels like a hidden gem if you want somewhere with strong date night energy, aesthetic decor, and Vietnamese fusion dishes that actually taste as good as they look. Would absolutely come back again.

I tried the broken rice with pork chop, pork skin, and pork egg cake, lemongrass chicken, pho with eye round and brisket, bun bo hue, and both of their spring roll offerings. Every dish came out quick and in large quality portions. The broth in both noodle soups were very good and the bun bo hue wasn't too spicy and was full of lemongrass flavor. The pork chop was a bit tougher than I'm used to and I did not like the pork skin, but the lemongrass chicken was juicy and tender. Just keep in mind that it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare the chicken dish. The service is quick and friendly and they have a button you can press in order to get the waiter's attention even though they're always walking around anyway. Overall a solid spot for Viet food in an area loaded with good Viet places. I'm going to have to give the pork chop another try because it's typically one of my favorites.

Pho 89 has a ton of great dishes to choose from, some more and less exotic than others, and the food is always of good quality. The staff here is super friendly, service is quick, and everything is always tasteful. I've had various versions of their pho, as well as their Goi Cuon Tom Thit (fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp) and both of them were incredible. The large bowl of pho is more than enough to feed one, and it comes in tasty bone broth, with noodles, and a large side plate of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and chili oil on the side. The fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp were even better I'd say. Their favor was incredible, and the peanut sauce they're served with is one of the best peanut sauces I've had in years. This place is an easy 5 stars, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The fresh rolls were good but the dipping sauce was just not to my taste at all (it might have been straight up peanut butter??).
