A few years overdue, I did the tested and true research, getting four estimates, only from roofers…read morewho were highly rated on Yelp. I have been battling two leaks, one on each side of the house where we added an addition in 2006. Jose, the owner at Restoration Roofing, was able to squeeze me in and visited me the same day I requested the estimate on Yelp while the others responded and came in a day or two. Jose arrived early for our appointment and flew a drone over the house, the other roofers relied on a company that specializes in providing sqft and other data to roofers. Jose was the only one who really impressed me and presented me with a beautifully written, thorough, bulleted estimate describing all materials to be used per my preferences (e.g., Certainteed Landmark Pro shingles) before even leaving. Jose was friendly, professional and obviously knew residential roofing based on our half an hour or so together. The other roofers all got back with estimates in a day or two, which was fine - but Jose's estimate was the best-written, clear and concise but thorough, on a one-page form. Jose did not pressure me while I was waiting on the other roofers' estimates at all, when he left he just shook my hand and asked me to contact him if I had any other questions, in a warm and genuine way. The overall sense I had, combining all the Yelp reviews and my own interaction with Jose was that he is a genuine, friendly roofing expert. When the other estimates came in, I was happy to see Restoration Roofing's was among the lowest two for a lot of reasons. One reason was the pages and pages of stellar Yelp reviews from Yelpers who had solid Yelping history. Another was his communication and person skills. In addition, Jose's company is Certainteed Master Certified and Certainteed shingles, from my research, are great value and quality. In addition to a new roof and identification of the source of the leaks and repair/prevention and the upgraded shingles, I asked for new oversized gutters and downspouts, and pvc facia. When roofing day arrived, Santos, Josh and a crew seven others were right on time and were friendly and hard-working! I watched off and on as they did herculean work to remove the old roof, including replacing some of the rotted wood in need of replacement (see pic of one leak and damaged wood). They did a fine job, paying attention to detail and photographing their progress from their lofty perch, and at the job's completion Jose provided me with a link to over a hundred photos documenting the progress. I watched as the flashing, nailing, boot replacement... everything went flawlessly. And they did a great job cleaning up and did a couple extra things no charge, like resecuring soffit. I was confident when I selected Restoration Roofing over the other highly-rated roofers. A week and a half later, my roof is beautiful! All in all from appointment to estimate, to roofing, to gutters, to the photos and the price of the estimate holding true, it was a stellar experience and I can't thank them all enough for being so great at what each excels at. Read the other reviews on Yelp too! I highly recommend you go with Restoration Roofing. Excellence in everything and Integrity too! THANKS RESTORATION ROOFING!!! I will recommend you heartily and wish much success and happiness for all of you.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Highly recommended.

RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

I reached out to Green Oak after searching on Yelp (s/o), and was extremely glad I did. Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing. The team was efficient and respectful, with a huge attention to detail. TL;DR - Highly recommend giving Brian and Green Oak Exteriors a shot to help fix your home exterior issues, especially when you are in a bind with your insurance company!

They…read morewill send a team of people who barely speak English to do your project with no supervision. The company will go hands-off as soon as they get your deposit. I almost never write bad Yelp reviews and I have been sitting on writing this review for a while but I had to because I am still so upset with the quality of service. When giving me my estimate, they sent a real professional to actually survey the property, go up on the roof, take measurements, etc. I had a really good feeling about the company. However, the person who gave me the estimate quit the company and I was reassigned to someone else who never physically came by to see the property. On the day of the installation, the team that they sent had no familiarity with the specifics of the project (which was attic insulation, gutter installation and rain barrel installation). I had to explain everything to them all over again, like they'd never heard of it before. It didn't help that they didn't really speak English and I had to show them what a rain barrel was with hand gestures. The workers installed my backyard rain barrel backwards, and my front yard rain barrel upside down. They took bricks from another part of my yard to mount my rain barrel without asking. The worst part by far: One of the workers, without asking, cut down my Virginia creeper plant that I had been growing and training for three years. It covered the front of my house and attracted birds and butterflies in the spring. Now it's destroyed. There was literally no reason to do this, he didn't ask for permission or anything (he said "it's poison!" when I asked why he did it; it's not, it's a harmless native plant). My house used to be unique, now it looks like every other house on the block. This last offense was intolerable, I called the company and demanded they sent someone down. They ultimately discounted the project by $2600, which was fine but did not compensate me for my loss. This was the first time any supervisor actually came to the property. It was clear the supervisor didn't know the workers at all, and he couldn't communicate with them any better than I could. The management had no interest in coming by to check work after it was complete, either. I had to reach out to them to request that they do so. They were perfectly content to just let their workers do it and leave for the day. Ultimately, they did the job that was on the contract, hence the two stars: they insulated my attic, installed gutters, and installed rain barrels. But everything else was a terrible experience. I wish I could undo hiring them in the first place.

True to their promise, that's exactly what occurred although our insurance company dragged things out far longer than it should have taken. The sales rep, Kyle Dotson, worked above and beyond the call of duty to make this happen and should be commended for that. He is a truly caring individual that works hard to keep his promises. Once the work began, the crew that did the roofing work was phenomenal. They finished the job in a day and a half (stripping, prepping and re-installing approximately 35 squares). We did have some questions about the effectiveness of the gutter guards considering the shingle overhang and the slope of the roof so that got held up a bit while we worked through those issues. Now the not-so-good. The supposed Project Manager was abysmal due to his lack of presence, communication and outright neglect. He would not return phone calls or text messages. If it wasn't for Kyle dogging him, he probably never would have even made the single brief visit to my house to look into the gutter guard issue. When he did, he promised to get the job done but it took several weeks and only after numerous terse messages from me (that went unanswered, true to form) before it finally got addressed, despite this task clearly being in the contract. These were gutter guards I purchased myself and paid Priceless to reinstall as part of the contract. I had purchased more than enough to do the job so I would have extras for the future but upon completion of this portion of the task, all remaining guards were removed from my property. Requests as to the return of the extras have gone unanswered, naturally. He also promised to have splash guards re-installed which were removed as part of the prep work. This has yet to be completed (or my messages acknowledged) so it looks like that will have to be done at my additional expense if it is going to be done at all. This guy should be fired since he is a bad representative of the company and a detriment to customer satisfaction.

On-going pressure to sign-off on job completion & collect final (insurance) payment -- even when the job is not complete. Line items on final invoice for work that wasn't done. Significant overages from original estimate & claims that material costs went up. Hiring unlicensed subcontractors who caused additional significant damage to our home -- cracked bathroom tile, significantly damaged drywall, ductwork disconnects & damper removal causing mold in home which we are still dealing with 6 months after the fact. Long & short, we wish we had never heard of Priceless. Do yourself a favor & go with Dry Home.
