I hope the cheesesteaks are better than the salads. I was on jury duty and forced to order from here. I asked for a salad with provolone cheese with no meat or onions. I got iceberg lettuce covered in onions with 2 slices of rubbery processed American cheese. Not even real deli cheese. It was the rubbery cheap Kraft slices. It was not even cubes just two slices cut in half and laid on top. I understand this is s cheese steak place so then please don't even offer salads. Gross!!! read more

We called and ordered food from this place on a Saturday night for delivery. The person who took the order said the delivery would be there in 45 minutes, but after a long wait we never received our order. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but no one answered. I would at least expect a call to say the order is delayed or that they can't deliver the food!!! Don't leave us hanging - this is horrible customer service. For this reason, I am giving 1 star. My Girlfriend and I would always get cheese steaks from Phillys Steak. We were once loyal customers and will never eat there again nor should you! Actions speaks volumes and they seem to cut corners on every level. Tonight was the last straw for us. They are "open" for walk in business until 10pm but when I got there at 9:45, 15 mins before closing, they were already locking the doors and told me they couldn't help me and that they were closed. COMPLETELY unacceptable from all levels of a customer service stand point. If they don't want to be there, close the doors for good. We stumbled upon this place in downtown stroudsbourg, a little leery at first because there weren't many customers . But we ate at the bar, decent atmosphere, and clean. The bartender wasn't super friendly but the food came fast. We both ordered chicken cheesesteaks. Hands down some of the best steak sandwiches we've ever had.
