Cheesesteaks are the best! Never disappointed!! Always friendly. Comfortable local gathering place!

Wanted to post on this #thankfulthursday in honor of Teddys' for always providing an excellent product for a very reasonable price and doing it with a smile. Never a bad experience here. read more

Love this dive bar good food and drinks. Dark hole in the walk bar but the wings will make you fly out soooooo good

Best cheesesteak and a great atmosphere. Entire staff is so friendly and their draft beer is the coldest in the area. Always a great time at Teddy's. As a Devils fan I'll just have to overlook their choice of hockey teams. read more

I love hole in the wall places like this. Everything was fantastic as well was the service. If you're in New York sports fan especially the Rangers, this is your spot. Wings were fantastic. Cheese steaks great like everyone mentioned. We have the best ever here at the Jersey Shore still but very good and great portions. read more

I really enjoyed this bar. Brittany was amazing, she checked on us and is a great bartender. I had a jolly rancher and the Philly cheesesteak. I recommend you share the food, the serving was quite large. When I come back to the shooting range; I will stop by again. The bar itself is a dive bar and could be easily missed if you are not looking for it. read more

Teddy's Tavern - Philly cheesesteak - Bars Near Me - Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Does not look appealing from the outside and it is a little hard to find but the food and atmosphere are great!

Great bar. Fun vibe, and the best cheesesteak in the area. They get fresh bread daily for a bakery in jersey.

A Gem in the Jungle of Nashville! Food 5/5 Especially Cheeseburger/Fries Service 5/5 Nate the GM/ Heather the server Location 5/5 1 block west of Broadway and 1 block east of Country Music Hall of Fame and across from the hockey venue Value 5/5 especially compared to the overpriced broadway locations Vibe cozy in the smaller front bar, like your own personal bar Tip The front is cozy but they have a lounge and rooftop location in the back Park at MusIc City Center garage, see the Country Music Hall of Fame and then to Teddy's Tavern for a bite to eat and some live music owned by a west end brewery. support the locals not the big chains. A real suprise when I walked in. Met Teddy who was a solid good guy and ordered a chèese steak which was the best I've ever had.

Terrific dive bar atmosphere with some great food believe it or not. Love their cheese steaks and other bar food. You will be surprised as we were. Go and give 'em a try. read more

Food is great value, service is the best on the Poconos a great sports bar atmosphere

Local favorite. Don't expect the Ritz, it's got good food, cheap beer, and a sports theme. What's not to love!

I want to start by saying I was told this was a New York Islanders themed bar, and I was bamboozled beyond belief. I walked into Teddy's to be greeted by a plethora of Rangers gear and while I'm wearing my isles clothing, I figured I was in for it. Instead I was greeted by smiles and lighthearted jokes. I ordered a Yuengling and a cheesesteak and I got both within 5 minutes of each other. The beer was cold and delicious and the cheesesteak is one of the best I've had in the Poconos. The bread was light and the meat cooked perfectly. Portion size was huge and I'm glad I came hungry. Even with the covid restrictions the workers here are doing an amazing job keeping everything sanitized and clean and continue to keep a welcoming atmosphere... even if you walk in wearing their teams biggest rival. read more

Don't let the appearance from outside scare you off, it truely has the best Cheesesteak you'll find anywhere! I've lived in this area for 24 years and never thought about going here until I read a blog about the best place for a cheesesteak. My wife and I decided to try Teddy's, and we will be back often. Their prices are great, their food is great and if you're a Rangers fan you will enjoy their decor. read more

A fantastic neighborhood Tavern. Great people, awesome service and EXCELLENT food. If you like sports and movies, these are added bonuses at Teddy's. Especially if you enjoy hockey, and are a NY Rangers fan. Teddy's also does wonderful things for the community. Joe and his staff are fantastic, just like his father, Ron, was before him. Stop in and enjoy a really, really good meal, at a very good price. I highly recommend ! read more

This was probably the best cheese steak I've ever tasted. It's a little hole in the wall. Our server was very nice and the food was served boiling hot. I had to let my sandwich sit for a bit just to be able to eat it. read more

this was my first time at Teddys and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The food and drinks were great and staff was very welcoming. I especially appreciated Brooke and her hospitality behind the bar. My only critique is that I didn't get there sooner. I got there about an hour or so before close so I was forced to kind of rush my stay but Brooke made sure to tell me the restaurant hours and the specials they have each night during the week. I honestly thought that she was the manager by the way she was running the bar and delegating tasks to her coworkers around closing time and was surprised to see that the manager was the man standing to the side on his phone while everyone else was busting their a** to clean before they restaurant closed. Brooke deserves a promotion. read more

Great place! Great Food everything was delicious! Joe made me the best wings even though they stopped serving food! P.S get hooks read more

Best wings, best cheesesteaks and best-well best everything ;)) dive bar atmosphere but that's what makes it so awesome.

Teddy's is a Staple in Stroudsburg. This is the place of the famous Kitchen Sink. If you have to ask, do it with a crowded room, and the cheers will go on over your shoulder as you attempt to finish the finest Cheese steak known to mankind. If you are in the area there are only three places I tell my friends to visit. Teddy's, Sarah Street Bar and Grill, and of Course Pocono Bagel. Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on the Sink, the wings, and so much more. read more

Teddy's New York Rangers game night atmosphere rivals the bars surrounding MSG with so many TVs and game audio throughout the joint during game time. Loads of NYR memorabilia everywhere and raffle prizes organized by the owners. Cheap beer, bar grub... good service and friendly staff. Prepare for a fun night out with local Rangers fans and if you're lucky enough to be present for a NYR goal, you're in for a thrilling surprise! read more

Awesome cheesesteak hoagies! I'm new to the neighborhood and would have never known about this place without the recommendation of my new coworkers... I will be back. read more

Omg you MUST eat the cheese steak hoagie !!! It is heaven in your mouth !! This place has amazing food, easy vibe and good drinks !

Great wings, best cheesesteak in the burgs and beer! What more can I say?

This bar was very run down & old looking inside. My friends & I ordered cheesesteaks and it was pretty disgusting. Never again. We sat at this table and I thought it was going to fall apart. They need major work done in that place. Idk maybe because I'm use to nicer looking bars, but this place was so out of elment. Never again will my friends & I return. read more

Best place around for cheesesteaks. The bar isn't fancy but still a nice place to hang out.

Cheesestakes are great wings are very good but should be served with celery and sauce.Takes so long to get your order even when not near full. They really have to do something about the flat draft beers.College kids don't care but us adults do. read more
