Does not look appealing from the outside and it is a little hard to find but the food and atmosphere are great!

I really enjoyed this bar. Brittany was amazing, she checked on us and is a great bartender. I had a jolly rancher and the Philly cheesesteak. I recommend you share the food, the serving was quite large. When I come back to the shooting range; I will stop by again. I want to start by saying I was told this was a New York Islanders themed bar, and I was bamboozled beyond belief. I walked into Teddy's to be greeted by a plethora of Rangers gear and while I'm wearing my isles clothing, I figured I was in for it. Instead I was greeted by smiles and lighthearted jokes. I ordered a Yuengling and a cheesesteak and I got both within 5 minutes of each other. The beer was cold and delicious and the cheesesteak is one of the best I've had in the Poconos. The bread was light and the meat cooked perfectly. Portion size was huge and I'm glad I came hungry. Even with the covid restrictions the workers here are doing an amazing job keeping everything sanitized and clean and continue to keep a welcoming atmosphere... even if you walk in wearing their teams biggest rival. read more

Don't let the appearance from outside scare you off, it truely has the best Cheesesteak you'll find anywhere! I've lived in this area for 24 years and never thought about going here until I read a blog about the best place for a cheesesteak. My wife and I decided to try Teddy's, and we will be back often. A fantastic neighborhood Tavern. Great people, awesome service and EXCELLENT food. If you like sports and movies, these are added bonuses at Teddy's. Especially if you enjoy hockey, and are a NY Rangers fan. Teddy's also does wonderful things for the community. Joe and his staff are fantastic, just like his father, Ron, was before him. This was probably the best cheese steak I've ever tasted. It's a little hole in the wall. Our server was very nice and the food was served boiling hot. I had to let my sandwich sit for a bit just to be able to eat it. read more

this was my first time at Teddys and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The food and drinks were great and staff was very welcoming. I especially appreciated Brooke and her hospitality behind the bar. My only critique is that I didn't get there sooner. I got there about an hour or so before close so I was forced to kind of rush my stay but Brooke made sure to tell me the restaurant hours and the specials they have each night during the week. I honestly thought that she was the manager by the way she was running the bar and delegating tasks to her coworkers around closing time and was surprised to see that the manager was the man standing to the side on his phone while everyone else was busting their a** to clean before they restaurant closed. Brooke deserves a promotion. read more

Teddy's is a Staple in Stroudsburg. This is the place of the famous Kitchen Sink. If you have to ask, do it with a crowded room, and the cheers will go on over your shoulder as you attempt to finish the finest Cheese steak known to mankind. If you are in the area there are only three places I tell my friends to visit. Teddy's, Sarah Street Bar and Grill, and of Course Pocono Bagel. This bar was very run down & old looking inside. My friends & I ordered cheesesteaks and it was pretty disgusting. Never again. We sat at this table and I thought it was going to fall apart.
