We have been ordering my Moms birthday cake from Tilda's since she was 86. Last week Mom turned 99!…read moreTilda's did not disappoint. I ordered a yellow three layer cake with cherry filling (Moms favorite) and chocolate buttercream frosting. The flavor was outstanding. The cake itself was moist without being gummy, the frosting was to die for, and the cherry filling wasn't too sweet. It was a perfect cake. Best one yet! My only critic, and it's a very slight one, is the edible butterflies they placed on the cake looked cheap. I removed them prior to serving. I'll be back for her 100th birthday celebration next year!

I also want to point out how friendly the workers were, that really stood out to me. I got the veggie sandwich and modified it a bit but it had eggplant, roasted peppers, arugula, and balsamic and it was one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had. Also had an imported peach iced tea which was much needed on a warm day. I was able to enjoy my food on one of their outside tables. Such a hidden gem of a place, definitely check it out!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience because of the lack of…read morecommunication and professionalism. On August 3, I visited Dortoni Bakery with my wife and daughter to order a custom smash cake for my daughter's first birthday on August 6. I spoke with a blonde female associate, who told me the bakery would be able to have the cake ready in time. She also told me that someone would call me the following day to confirm the details. I never received that phone call. Instead, an email was sent at 8:58 a.m. requesting information that I had already provided in person the day before. I didn't see the email until later that evening, so I called the bakery to confirm the details. At that point, I was told they would not be able to make the cake after all because they require a minimum of four days' notice. Had I been told that on August 3, I would have simply made other arrangements. Instead, I was assured the order would be completed, only to learn a day later that it could not. As a result, I was left scrambling to find a smash cake with only one day before my daughter's first birthday. Mistakes happen, but clear and accurate communication is essential--especially when customers are planning important family milestones. This experience left me very disappointed, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this bakery based on how this situation was handled.

I provided then with a photo as a sample and the color of the writing I wanted and they said they were able to get it done. The cookies came out absolutely gorgeous. They were one of the highlights of the party and my Mom was so excited about how well they came out. Additionally, every year for the past 20 years for Mother's day and Father's day I come to this bakery very early in the morning to pick our my parents respective favorite pastries. Me and my siblings serve the pastries to them for breakfast in bed and it makes their day every year. We normally get raspberry squares, black and white cookie, apple turnovers, cinnamon raisin bread (sliced) and lemon meringue pie. All of those pastries are consistently delicious every time we get them which is why we come back. I also recently discovered that they make different types of scones, besides their classic raisin scones. I had the lemon poppy scone for the first time 2 weeks ago and now I find myself constantly trying to find them in the bakery if I have some spare time to stop by and check! The blueberry scone is also quite delicious and only $2.95! Overall, this has been and still is my favorite bakery growing up and I will continue to be a frequent customer at this establishment.

Funny how I was at the Turkish place right next door a few months ago and never thought of trying it then! Well, I'm glad for the recommendation because this is a really nice bakery! The tables and seating struck me as soon as I walked in on top of the displays and how clean it was, I knew I found a great bakery! I ordered some rainbow cookies, a couple of eclairs and cream puffs. The rainbow cookies are without a doubt some of the best I've had in a long time. The cream puffs I was expecting custard filling but what I chose were the cream puffs filled with chocolate pudding instead, I didn't know there were choices but these did not disappoint, I love chocolate pudding and the flavor/texture was perfect, not too sweet. I called the bakery when I got home and they actually offer 3 types of cream puffs. Chocolate pudding, custard and cannoli filling. The pudding has the chocolate stripe on top, the custard is the plain dough sprinkled with powdered sugar and the cannoli cream puff has a little cannoli cream coming out of it with shavings on top. The eclairs were delicious but they only make the mini size! There are LOTS of pastries, varieties of cookies, cakes, cheescakes and breads. It's too bad I do not like coffee because there is an expresso bar for you to have with your favorite dessert! I will definitely be back, so much more to try here! Dolci Momenti, you have a new fan!!
