Place a pre-paid order for pickup @ 3:00 PM on Super Bowl Sunday. Weather was 31 dF and sleeting. Line was around the building. I asked a woman in line if this was for pre-paid pickup? She responded yes I waited in my car for an hour. The line only got longer. Had a party to attend at 5:00, so I left and had my daughter come back at 5:45 (the store closes at 6:00). Line still into the parking lot. My daughter finally gets into the store - total mayhem! Rude employees, including the manager! Our order is neither ready or right! I'll be filing a complaint with my credit card company. Apparently, this place ran a total scam on customers. They oversold, under-delivered and hopefully, they'll be out of business by next SB!

Warm, nicely salted, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Yum! If you have room in your freezer, the specials are a great deal.

If you order a pretzel dog they make you pay extra for mustard. It's a g freaking hotdog. Next you want to charge for the bag too?

Great place to get pretzels. We had an issue on our last visit and the manager went above and beyond to fix it. Great customer service!

My husband ate almost the entire shepherds pie by himself...he was hungry and it's good. I just finished eating a chocolate mint cupcake that was so tasty. Their chocolate croissants are fabulous as well. Service was friendly and speedy yesterday. I was there at 4pm so I have found they are less busy at that time of day when I want to buy things to take home. If I lived closer to Zig's I would probably be there more often, but as it is, I am still thankful it's only a 30 minute drive from my home.

If I had to pick a "comfort spot" in Lancaster County, Zig's would win every time. This place is…read moreone of my favorite lunch stops, the kind where you walk in already knowing exactly what you're ordering because it never misses. I get the tuna melt every single time, and listen... their tuna is unreal. Perfectly seasoned, not too mayo-heavy, toasted just right it's basically my emotional support lunch at this point. I also never skip the seasonal drink special. Today's was the apple chai-der and it was so cozy and delicious. Their drink specials always feel like you're sipping the current season through a mug. Zig's also has an entire cooler/freezer wall packed with soups, applesauce, and grab-and-go meals. My all-time favorite soup is the Tomato Pepper Jack absolutely phenomenal. If you see it, grab two. Trust me. The bakery case? Dangerous. Cupcakes, pies, whoopie pies, parfaits... it's basically dessert heaven behind glass. And then there's my holy grail: the Buffalo Cauliflower. It's a rare find, and when I spot it I buy it in full apocalypse-prep quantities. No regrets. Between the rustic vibe, great coffee, incredible baked goods, and comfort-food lunches, Zig's is one of those places you keep coming back to because it just feels good and tastes even better. Highly recommend!

Prior to Covid closings a charming cafe had briefly held this space, so I was excited to see the…read morespace reopened as a very similar eatery. There is delightful seating options including window seating, bistro tables, and comfortable seating in the back where there is a variety of interesting items to see and purchase. The décor is eclectic and fun with a European vibe. The menu items are diverse and plentiful. There are vegan and vegetarian items, like the flatbread pizza my friend savored. I chose a ricotta cheese crepe special which was not at all what I expected. It was served cold and very sweet, with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and fruit. It was very good but much more of a dessert than I thought. There are many options for specialty teas and coffees. I had a vanilla flavored black iced tea. The tea is prepared as ordered. There is a generous bakery case with a variety of different decadent options. A local bakery provides the pastries and they are all made with attention to detail, like little real violets on the iced bundt cakes. The macarons were some of the best I have ever had with a lovely creme filling. I also tried a very thin almond covered cookie that looked like it would be crisp but it was very soft. The prices were very reasonable and there is nothing not to enjoy about this eatery. From the food options and desserts, drink options, decor, seating, location and prices, this is as good as it gets.
