It's a pretty simple menu and they do their cheesesteaks well both with whiz and provolone.. the service has gotten better and more attentive but it's never been bad. Probably the closest thing I have eaten in Texas to a Philly Cheesteak. Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia this was a treat. Wish they had Cooper Sharp as a cheese option; that would make it legit! I appreciated the Amoroso Roll - nice touch. However, my personal preference is a roll with a hard crust on the outside. I stopped by here on a whim. I was across the freeway for an appointment and was about to head back to my side of town when I decided I wanted to grab something to eat. This place popped up and sounded good. I called to place a to go order and the girl who answered the phone very politely asked me to hold. I probably was only on hold for less than two minutes when I decided that maybe they were too busy and I should just grab something else so I hung up. Two seconds later, the girl called me back and asked if she could help me. I felt like it was a sign I needed to give it a try. I was impressed that they would take the time to call me back. I was also equally impressed with our hospitality when I picked up my order. I ordered the 6 inch combo and it was enough for me to make two meals out of. I did the Philly with onions, mushrooms, provolone and mayo. So good! I thought about ordering extra cheese because I love cheese but decided not to. If you love cheese, go ahead and splurge for the extra. I added more cheese when I ate my leftovers the next day. Lastly, do yourself a favor and sit down and eat at the restaurant. They have the best egg roll I've ever had. Cheesesteak egg roll you have to try it. Everything we ate was incredible. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were spotless. Went there with family and friends for the first time to try their food after hearing Philly friend say it was top tier. I'm not a cheesesteak person so I got some wings and let me say the wings were delicious but hot! I'm not a hot lover so I messed up ordering them, but the manager was so nice that he offered to get me something else and let me keep the wings! :) Everybody that worked there was so friendly and even gave my daughter some cookies and although they were not fresh, they came back and gave her some freshly baked ones!
