Our experience was WONDERFULLY from beginning to end. I 100% recommend this place. The young lady at the counter was welcoming, patient, very helpful, and very polite. We sat down and received our within a few minutes with EVERYTHING hot and fresh. I loved the fact that they were playing Christian music that was just the icing on the cake for me. The building is pretty ugly. The Food is pretty solid and the taste of their phillys is actually really good. $16 good? Not so sure. They boast about their fries enough to put it on their sign, but honestly I'd have to be drunk to enjoy them. I asked for mayo bc I anticipated this, they gave me 1 packet of mayo for the whole sandwich and a lot of ketchup.. the fries saved the whole meal. They were finger licking good. I'm here for business and finding GOOD food in this small city has been very trying. So condiments are important. But for me, once I've had a bite one from the east coast, my expectations of a cheesesteak have dramatically changed. I enjoyed the vibe, the fries, and the aesthetic milkshakes they served here. But for the cheesesteak, I had to pause and think of it objectively. It would be unrealistic to expect their cheesesteak to exactly emulate the east coast, because I respect those who've created something unique to their own. But a cheesesteak should have these very important qualities: the bread needs to be toastier, the cheese should be hot, melty, and gooey when I take a bite off it, and the meat needs to be sweatier. After eating at Dragon Warrior Noodle, my friends and I wanted to try someplace new for dessert. I'd seen this place on Yelp and the milkshake photos looked delicious. The building was a lot smaller than expected, but the atmosphere was amazing. We sat out on the patio for hours and it was such a fun night. Very impressed with the huge amount of hard work that went into improving this building. The indoor space has been expanded and the patio has had a complete overhaul. The patio is absolutely beautiful and is perfect to hang out at during the evening. I was also informed that it is pet friendly! As for the food, so glad that an authentic Philly place has opened. By authentic, I mean they use wiz, cheese wiz! Of course provolone is an option they offer, but if you've never tried an authentic philly "wit wiz" you really really should. I had the classic philly and it was very tasty. The meat itself had excellent flavor and of course the cheese just makes it even better. The sandwiches are not too big. One could easily finish an entire one, which in my opinion is a good thing considering steak covered in cheese isn't exactly healthy. The fries are also cut fresh and well seasoned. I have not tried the milk shakes,but they look amazing! They're served in a mason jar, with "garnish" that is basically an entire dessert on its own even with out the shake.
