I was in Greenwood and heading north to take Thompson Road to the southeast side of Indy when I…read morenoticed I was getting low on gas. So, I pulled through the intersection and into the Marathon. This station has undergone a major renovation (including digging) so the bay area for vehicles is in great condition: solid concrete that is smooth like new. The place was clean with bright blue trash cans handy. I will say that there aren't a lot of pumps here like at some of the super stations. There are just two rows of pumps that are two deep. The pumps are also new and though they have a bunch of prompts for different promotional things Marathon does, I simply ignored those and put my debit card in. Everything after that was easy to follow and I was soon filling my tank. While filling, I noticed that outside the building, there were ricks of firewood, propane gas tanks, ice, and standing by itself, an air station for filling your tires. The space between the building and the covered pumping bays was open, so no protection on rainy days if you need to go inside. My only negative about this place is that it has limited access. Both cross streets at this intersection have raised medians without cutouts, so you can only get here from heading west or north. Upon leaving, you can only head north or west, but the west will immediately take you to the stop light, so you can turn south from there. Unfortunately, I wanted to go east, so unless I tried a U-turn at the stop light, I would have to detour to some other road. I did not stop inside to check out the interior or customer service. BP does limit you to a max of 20 gallons when using the discount, but that's still a sweet deal. This BP is half McDonald's and half BP convenience store, and is located on a very busy intersection. The location is usually always clean, and inside the staff keeps the store looking nice and well organized. BP prices seem to be very similar to most other gas stations. The parking lot is large and easy to maneuver, the pumps are pay at the pump with credit card, or inside with cash. If you need fuel in this area, I recommend this gas station.

Ohhh and the doors were locked a few minutes early... They are open until midnight 5 nights a week - but close at 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Pretty standard fueling station outside the large Kroger located along Southport Road. I like that…read morethey have enough distance from the main parking area of the grocery so as not to impede access in and out of the fueling bays. There is a person in a small booth in the center of the bays for most of the day (except for the overnight shift). If you wish to pick up one of the propane tanks, buy ice, or rock salt that are stored there, you have to go to the booth to acquire those. I pulled in to the first pumping station and found that the buttons on the pump were non-responsive. It directs you to push one of the green buttons to select payment, then follow directions. But nothing happened regardless of which of the buttons I pushed. I pulled up to a second pump and again, I followed directions to push a green button and again, no directions popped up on the screen. I moved to a third pump and the screen said to see the cashier before fueling. 0 for 3 on working pumps. I simply left to the gas station across the street instead of playing games with pumps that aren't functional or easy to follow. Review #3620

Even after waiting over 20 mins. Cashier stated this was a known issue, but there was no markings or signs on the machine stating such. Stated another person had to wait a while before the money came out. Staff is friendly, but managements choices and willingness to use faulty machines to steal money is insulting.
