    Exterior entrance on Delaware
    Ken N.

This is one of the newest CVS pharmacies in the city. Located on the corner of South and Delaware, you can park on the north side of the building (off Delaware) or pull into the drive thru (off South). Note that current construction on South Street limits you to pulling in from westbound only. The entrance is on the northeast side of the building. Inside, the space is clean and filled with rows of pharmacy items as well as some convenience store items where you can pick up seasonal items (yes, both Christmas and Halloween items are on display). There are grocery items as well including breakfast cereal that I hadn't seen elsewhere. I didn't use the pharmacy, so I can't really comment on that. I assume they are comparable to other CVS locations. One thing of fun to be aware of if you visit is that there are a couple cool murals on the outside of the building (see separate reviews for details). One is an instagram worthy butterfly wings on the east side while there is a shadowbox of giant butterflies on the south side. Review #3314

    Excel Dryer ThinAir hand dryer

This is a very interesting, newer CVS with hand dryers that actually work decently. They're Excel Dryer ThinAir units. Compared to my local CVS, which has a Bradley Aerix dryer, these ThinAir units are awesome! I must admit, the plumbing fixtures could be better. Overall, this is a decent CVS.

Stores cool. Lady with the red hair in the pharmacy had an attitude though. Otherwise good place.

Had to wait 15+ minutes for a pharmacist to answer the drive-up window along with rude commentary from their assistant.

Best CVS in town. Friendly staff and never out of anything you need. Also, check out the great alcohol sales.

They need more than 1 pharmacist in this cvs. Waited forever to be waited on between in store and drive thru pharmacy patients.

First bad experience they didn't have enough of a medication to fill my whole order and gave me 10 pills with the assurance that I would get a call when the rest was available. Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. I reminded them that they said they would call me and the pharmacist told me they don't call customers. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.

A prescription I needed urgently was called into another pharmacy this morning. Rather than ride there to pay and pick it up, I gave East Side Prescription Shop a call to see what could be arranged. The phone was answered right away by an actual person. The pharmacy tech was a nice man who entered my information into his computer, called the other pharmacy, and called me back in less than an hour. They had transferred my prescription and filled it. They even took my payment over the phone. This was something the other pharmacy was not willing to do. The tech told me that his delivery man was standing right there and that my medicine would be on the way shortly. I don't remember exactly how long it took to arrive, but it was here within 20-30 minutes from what I recall. Delivery was free and executed by a happy smiling man. It was nice to deal with kind people as sick as I feel. I didn't feel like another number in a long queue like I do at the currently available chain pharmacies. I have yet to see the inside, and I'm not sure if they have a drive-thru. The downside is that they are not open on Sunday and close by 2 PM on Saturday. So, this shop won't fit needs in the middle of the night or most of the weekend. But, I would certainly use this shop again because of the quick and kind service along with the delivery they offer. I'm not sure what the delivery area is, but what a relief to have that option where I am! They made me feel like I went back in time to when customers and patients mattered and when businesses were smaller and more comfortable.
