We were warmly greeted by the optometrist. He greeted by two girls with a smile on his face. It was quick gentle and effective. Thank you

Not happy with their customer service. I came to Advanced because they were 5 minutes from my…read morehouse, had a high rating here, decent selection of frames and accepted my insurance. I spent over $700 out-of-pocket on a pair of glasses, and my insurance paid for the rest. Within a month a lens scratched and Advanced repalced it. Less than a year after my purchase what looked like a grain of sand became embedded in a lens. Also I noticed the red paint was starting to chip from the metal frame. I came in and immediately the person at the counter said something like sorry, we no longer carry that brand. Not understanding why that should be my problem, I asked to speak to the manager. He was pretty rude & said there was nothing that could be done about the paint and then acted like he would do me a big favor - rather than standing by his product - by replacing the lens, while trying to make me feel like this was my fault. He expalained that he had the same brand glasses and multiple children who were regularly grabbing them off his face, yet he never had a problem with these glasses. That's a great story, but I'll never return here!

You literally lied to me so what happened was I got a prescription and they sold me some frames so first you tell me the frames are $1200 I'm on disability I'm disabled. I can't afford that. Let me see what I can do give them to you for $700 and the reason why I'm gonna give it to you for seven dollars because For a whole year if anything breaks on it scratches will fix it for free for a whole year less than six months the glasses broke bitch. Tell him he told me oh yeah you have to pay to get it fixed, but you told me the manager you told me that it was covered yeah I know I said that, but you have to pay is this even legal then he says I'll fix it one time for free then now it's all no void no what happened to my 12 month warranty on top of that let me tell you on top of that he says and you can't even get the frames that you paid for you have to pick out a different set of frames. How is that? I just got to be illegal

Two issues: 1)…read moreFeels like a high volume practice in that no one really knows who you are. I saw Dr. Ung who, on our second visit, walked in and asked me about how I'm managing my diabetes. I don't have diabetes. She's just like "oh ok". That's a pretty big detail to mess up and not be overly concerned about how it happened. Really made me wonder what else in my chart might be wrong. 2) They're very "that's your problem" about insurance. I have a VERY popular/common plan and they scheduled my routine exams such that the second one didn't get covered because it was too soon. $400. and their response was "well you're responsible for your plan and coverage details blah blah blah". like sure I know I'm LEGALLY responsible, but in REALITY that's negligence on their part. they either don't know the details on one of the most common plans they work with all day everyday, or they just don't care. Either way - not cool. Like my dentist is so careful and deliberate about aligning stuff with my specific insurance plan so I don't have to pay out of pocket. Would not recommend and I'm finding another eye doctor

From the NP to the doctors, I have always been treated well. They listen when I describe the…read moreissue/problem, and make appropriate recommendations. Been going here over 10 years, and my wife goes as well. There is a reason they keep expanding, and it is because they do a good job. I've never waited as long as others have said, and I always get an appointment rather than just walk in. They also have recommended me to outside experts when needed who have been very helpful.

They are great! Until you actually have a medical crisis. They claim to have an urgent care center,…read morebut if you try to go there, they tell you to go to the hospital ER. They would rather you go to the ER during the rising pandemic... I digress. Do the other things they want me to do. Nope, not good enough. Treated like a malingerer, no sympathy or offer to help. Just - "You faker! You took ONE WHOLE MG instead the .5 you were prescribed! You disobeyed my instructions! Of course you ran out early! No, you can't refill your prescription four days early, and no, we will not discuss why .5 once a day seems to not be sufficient (even though the general dosage is 1mg twice a day, or .5mg twice a day) or why a nurse practitioner said this prescription wasn't even therapeutic, you can't have any more, just go suffer. "And let's sign a contract that I will prescribe and you will take it as prescribed." Like I am a teenager signing a drinking contract with my mom. Get out here. That's what the instructions on the bottle are. So, if the lowest dose of .5mg doesn't help I just have to suffer until...I can reach you and get an appointment so you can say - no, you can't take a whole mg? Even though everywhere says 1 mg is appropriate. Do they like to see people suffer, or is Ritvo on some power trip that she would deny medication to someone suffering as punishment because they disobeyed her orders? Under the guise of "safety." When you are prescribing under the recommended dose and your patient is suffering AND running out early, you just...do nothing. What is this some sort of test: Will patient suffer at the alter of my instructions, rather than defy them? Reach out for help. But not here! They just make up whatever they want and don't care about helping patients.
