Found this place on groupon. We bought a 2 person 1hr introductory class with equipment rental included. Came on a Sat when they opened at 10am. It's a large space and did not smell like feet which was refreshing. Sarah who did our class was patient and thorough. She made us feel that safety was a top priority. She gave us great tips on using legs not arms. She also went above and beyond helping us out with the knots when someone in our group had trouble. Overall she was with us for 1.15hr and wasn't in a rush at all. The groupon includes unlimited return visits for the next 2wks so I will definitely be back. Equipment rental is $6.50 which is very fair. Only negative is that there were so many kids there so you just have to watch out for them. There was also plenty of free parking in their lot.

Bought a groupon for a family lesson and climbing. This was our first time going and we had a great experience. Noel gave a great lesson and then we climbed for three hours. We are instantly hooked. Many great routes for all levels. Can't wait to go back.

We purchased the groupon and after our first day we receive a 2 week free membership which is pretty cool because we didn't get to try the other course where you wear the harness.

They have a good variety of climbing options. They've got more bouldering options than I've seen in one gym which is nice. They have a lot of different routes that focus on different skills. They even have a ninja warrior climbing area. There's also a variety of areas good for kids and a private room for birthday parties. Their facility is spread across to buildings. And the only downside is you have to walk outside to explore them both, but even that didn't have a huge impact on e joying the experience

The right side must have 50' of top rope climbing running the 200' length of the building. Left side has bathrooms, lounge, exercise area and a yoga studio. Bouldering is the upper floor on the left. Overall, it is well organized by color, and easy to follow. There is not a plethora of tape on the wall . Each climb also has the difficulty level posted with a corresponding color. This gym needs 2 feet things to make it 5 stars: a good cleaning of the thick dust covering everything (walls, mats, floor, items for sale, etc) and deodorizing of the foot smell.

Intro to Rock Climbing with Valley to Summit on September 18, 2022…read more This was my second trip to Chickies Rock with VTS and it was wonderful! There were only 5 of us, so plenty of time to climb. Our Guide, Bob, was so patient, engaged and informative. I learned a lot of great things that I had not known before about clothing, ropes and technique. Bob was so patient with me and was there with his " green pointer" to help me over the tough spots. You should know that I am 74 years old and tho I have climbed indoors for a few years, my stamina was not that of the youngsters who were there! Nonetheless, it was a great time! I highly recommend Valley to Summit, this being my 3 rd trip with them. They Rock!

He asked a few questions, then determined that it should be OK for me to go on the hike. Shortly before the hike we received an email from Dave saying that because of the warm weather the trip would not have as much ice as it normally does. He offered to reschedule or refund our money if we wanted, but also said we could go if we wanted. We wanted. When I got there Dave and the guides were fantastic. Very personable. They were helpful but without being intrusive. One of them carried one of my forearm canes in his backpack in case I needed it. (This was to have one hand free for the ice axe.) The hike was great. At the end of the hike I asked one of the guides if he thought I could do the repelling they offer... he conferred with the owner and the lead repeller guide, and they agreed that I would be allowed to do that in the Spring. I highly recommend Valley to Summit for a great time. I look forward to a full day ice hike in February.

No one monitoring most of it but people were behaved and its not too crowded. Jumping was fun. I did cartwheels for the first time in 20 years. The only thing is that ur in socks the whole time, in the bathroom too which is pretty funky, just because. Its not particularly clean for that being the case. I didnt realize how not used to being shoeless i am, my balls of feet killed by the end. I was ready to go. They have the climb wall but no one was there so really didn't want to bother the only desk girl. The staff is good though. Only 4 people there but they all took care of their areas well, especially the harness check girls. They have pretty safety attentive positions and handle them well for being younger. It was good. Idk really what to expect. Its an interesting place. Worth a try. They have games too. They get a little expensive and all prizes were labubus. Lol. They have rooms for parties but im gonna warn that they are smaller then a bathroom. We saw in passing by. They look like hot closets so before u pay for one of them , id check it out.
