FAILURE TO SECURE THE SAFTEY AND WELL BEING OF A MEMBER On…read moreSunday Feb 8 2026 a severe weather warning is in effect around 6:52 pm. It's 11 degrees outside but with the wind it feels like -2. Just before this branched closed up at 7pm I received a call from my daughter explaining she had locked her keys in her car and asked if I could bring her spare. I explained I was on my way but she needs to stay indoors until I got there. Sub zero temperatures plus post work out sweat, winter jacket and minimal clothing make her chances of exposure to the elements increasingly hazardous. However, she informed me the front desk staff insisted she could not stay indoors after 7pm. My wife called the front desk and pleaded to keep her indoors and out of the freezing cold but was rejected. I then called and pleaded and then insisted on her safety and I to was also rejected. We were only asking for a short grace period. We were asking for the well being and safety of a current member and only for a short period of time. I was told by this uncompromising and inconsiderate front desk staff member that "insurance doesn't cover that.." and they were "..done with this conversation.." at which time they handed the phone back to my daughter and said to her that I "..was being an Asshole" and loud enough that I could here the insult over the phone! I call this a total disregard of compassion, professionalism and respect. I call it a total disregard for the safety and well being of another human being.

The students that I was there with are all wheelchair bound. The staff at the gym placed the kids In a special hoist and then raised them up about 25 feet or so. Some of the kids were able to assist in their ascent and they were so excited and happy. It was really heartwarming to see the joy on their faces. The staff was fantastic with the kids. I wish that I had gotten their names. I think that the gentleman assisting is Tim but I am not positive. There were two ladies also assisting and they too were wonderful. Really nice people and a very cool place to visit. I am hoping to go and take a class there soon. I would certainly recommend checking it out. I also think that the pricing is very reasonable. Thank you to everyone who took such great care of our kids.

I've been climbing for a while, but this was my first time at PRG, so Shane helped me with my orientation and made sure I was ready to climb safely. I had a great climbing session, but when I lost sight of my AirPods case at the end of my visit, something unexpected happened. The entire staff (and folks at the gym) united to join me on this little mission. Alden, Shane, and a woman from the team (whose name I didn't catch) all helped me search the entire gym until we found it. They were true team players and genuinely just wanted to help me. It was awesome, unexpected, and so appreciated. Everyone was incredibly kind, genuinely helpful, and truly welcoming. I'll be returning to this gym and bringing some friends. If you're looking for a kind, welcoming, and supportive environment, whether you're a first-timer or an experienced climber, you'll find it at PRG Wyncote. Victory offers a small gym feel where all the coaches and owners get to know the families and athletes. The program is competitive and the teams score well at competitions. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable and excel in communication. Victory offers a variety of teams to fit budgets and commitment levels. I also love that most teams get an additional day of tumbling to work on and level up skills. I have considered other programs- all star and rec. In my opinion, the Victory program is the best option.

For many years, I was silent, not blind to the awful treatment athletes receive at Victory Vipers…read more I am no longer affiliated with the gym due to violating their social media portion of their contract. After a situation occurring at a competition where I was yelled at for running off the mat to throw up. I had made a post to a private story including three people affiliated with the gym explaining what had just occurred and expressed my emotions. One of these athletes (who was allowed to stay in the program after smoking on the bus to the summit) shared my private post with the gym. Talking poorly of the gyms name is against the social media contract and results in my removal from the program, but getting high before a competition results in no punishment. The favoritism this gym has towards specific athletes is not a secret. If you meet the small list of people this gym loves, the rules don't apply to you, and if not the rules are non negotiable for you. During my 3 concussions at Victory Vipers I was told to lie to my doctors about my symptoms because they came with cheer restrictions. I was told to push myself further than I felt comfortable with because it "wouldn't be fair the the team" (coach Erica 2022) if I didn't throw my personal tumbling while battling through a tendinitis flair up in my shoulders. Parents are unaware that this gym is conditioning young children to believe this treatment is normal and acceptable. Cheerleading is a dangerous sport and this gym is risking the safety of children for their personal goals of winning. In the 2021-2022 season 7 athletes quit my team due to the poor treatment athletes receive. If I wasn't so close to aging out of the sport, after my first season I would have never tried out again. The friends I made at the gym made it worth going back and I ignored the poor treatment I received. I want to share my story with those looking at where to enroll their children for cheerleading, Victory Vipers took my blood, sweat, tears, and love for the sport of cheerleading. I hope this gym owns up to their mistakes and makes changes to their values because they have many children mental and physical well-being in their hands.
