The seasoning was very nice and complimented the waffle perfectly. The waffle was very good as well, clearly made in house. My buddy had one of the burgers with fries, he added an over easy egg, which they had no problem doing. He said the fries were better than he expected and the whole meal was very good. It was a Wednesday night, kind of slow there and the service was superb. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it's a very nice restaurant and an excellent place to bring a date. Not too noisy, somewhat intimate and very well done.

Getting refills was just as difficult--we waited an extremely long time, and at one point had to go up and ask because a drink we had ordered never arrived. We asked for napkins but never received them. To make matters worse, we were charged for extra drinks we hadn't ordered, even though we had to chase down the drinks we actually requested. There was also a hair in the food, which made the experience even more disappointing. The breakfast was decent, but the lunch was pretty mediocre. I will give them credit for discounting one of the meals that went uneaten because of its taste and for addressing the issue with the hair. Unfortunately, those efforts did not make up for the extremely slow and inattentive service. Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. The food might have been easier to overlook if the service had been better, but between the long waits, missing items, incorrect charges, and hair in the food, I would not be in a hurry to return.

Clearly not the case. Hashbrowns were not crispy. Sausage links seem like they were sitting out for a while before being served. I think they are better options for breakfast in the Hays area.

The steak is perfectly seasoned and the Mac n cheese is the perfect blend of flavor and texture. The vibes within the place are so cozy and small town, making it a relaxing environment with some of the friendliest service! 10/10 recommend!

I had a bowl of the tomato basil soup, which is gluten-free and very tasty. My partner had the breakfast plate with bacon, quiche, grapes, and toast, and he enjoyed his meal as well. After we finished eating, we waited a while for our check, but our server was tied up handling to-go orders, so we ended up paying at the bar. Andi was super friendly and I didn't have a problem with the service, she was the only person in the shop.
