No appointment was needed. I brought in my daughters iPad, showed them the damage, gave them my personal information and left. The timeline on the website said it would be a few days but they did the repair in a few hours! When I picked up my daughters iPad they went over everything. They showed me it was charging, the speakers worked, microphone worked, the screen brightness worked, Touch ID worked and more. Literally they went over every feature to show me it was operational. They are extremely thorough. It was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was helpful, upbeat and informative. I highly recommend them for your repairs.

Last week i went in, years later, and by golly, they did indeed replace the screen FOR FREE. Today I returned and got a new screen protector on my tablet (I'd put the last screen on myself). Their prices are more than fair, and ESPECIALLY more than fair when you figure you'll never have to buy a screen protector again. A special shout-out to my tech at Woodbury, Owen, who was fast, efficient and best of all... laughed at my lame jokes! These folks are what support is supposed to be, and rarely is. Well done!

I'd been looking for a tablet and had no experience with them at all. I am fairly computer Savey having been a software developer for 40+ years but tablets were something of a mystery to me. Jay & chatted for 15-20 minutes, talked about my needs and what I intended to use it for. Jay offered to send me some info on a couple of new tablets he knew about and could order. He also mentioned a different model available at the local "big box" store. I checked out his suggestions plus the big box option that he had mention and it turns out the big box store had a "just introduced" version of his suggested tablet that had a larger screen, more storage and a slightly better processor than his suggestions. Plus it was a few bucks cheaper. All in all I did end up getting the big box tablet but I really appreciated all of Jay's time and effort that he put in with helping me figure out what would work for me and the price range I would be looking at. I went back there the next day to show him the new tablet and got a screen protector from him. He was just the help I needed and did it even if it didn't earn him very much. Can't ask for better help than that. I'd go back to him in a heartbeat for anything he could help me with even if his price wasn't the lowest one!

They both love bringing the pain on a daily basis. This particular retailer took it to another level. We bit the bullet and decided to switch carriers. Ugh, how I dreaded doing this since I knew the process would be brutal. My expectations were extremely low, and this location managed to surpass them quite easily. I counted on 2 hours, and we were there for 4. Added bonus, we had to return the next day for an additional 2 hours since they had to troubleshoot something else. I turned in my old phone for a credit and never received it. The sales rep said that it could take 2 months. After 2 months I called Verizon and they couldn't locate my phone. I gave them the tracking number and was told that this location shipped 10 older phones in one box. There was no way for them to tell which phone was mine. To top it off, they never honored my military discount. They said this could take 2 months too. This place is shady. Just make an appointment at one of the main Verizon stores.

I was hesitant but thought since it was in the ghetto, people probably take off without paying so I went ahead and paid with cash. After an hour of watching him struggle with my phone, he hands me my phone and I leave. I get in my car and nothing worked. I go back in and the tech acted surprised to see me. By this point, I was upset so I just told him to get it fixed and I went back to wait in my car. About 20 minutes later he came out to my car. I had my window down from smoking a cigarette and he hands me my phone and said, "it's fixed." I tell him to wait while I examine my phone and of course, nothing worked. I hand him the phone again and he went back inside. 30 minutes later he comes out and tells me he needs more time to fix my phone and asked me to return tomorrow afternoon. I said no, just give me my phone and I'll take it somewhere else. He pleaded with me and said his manager was on his way over to help him fix my phone and promised me that the phone would be fixed by 7:30 PM the latest. BIG MISTAKE! I arrived back at the shop at 7:25. As I entered the store i can see that the manager has another phone screen attached to my red iPhone. He tells me that the home button is broken and they are attempting to somehow install the digital home screen button on my phone. Confused and at a lost for words, I asked why are you doing that? Just fix it. The manager, a Nigerian dude proceeded to tell me he cannot fix the broken home button that I broke and I stopped him and told him, No. My phone was working just fine when I brought it in. I told him to put my phone back together and return my money. He got aggressive and said I was not getting a refund after all the time they spent on my phone. I laughted and told him he was crazy because I brought in a working phone and i am not leaving with a broken phone. He then got out from behind the service stand and tried to fight me. I didn't have any way to call for help so I went outside and stopped a lady walking by to call the police for me and the manager ran up and locked the doors. With all the ICE protesting happening, the police never showed up so I drove to the police station and filed a theft report. See you in court.

The helpful person at GopherMods looked over the phone, gave me an estimate and added that I'd likely be replacing my screen as a result of the work. The quote I received was reasonable, but exceeded the value of the phone. Of course, the phone was paid off about a month before it started acting up!
