I'm a retired naval officer having served 22+ years at multiple duty stations around the world practicing my trade as a Cryptologist focused on Russian, Chinese, North Korean, and early in my career East German, and Vietnamese order-of-battles operating in oceans, and seas hither and yon. During my service I collected various electronic components in support of my love for music. Turntables, receiver/amplifiers, tuners, tape decks, to include reel-to-reel, cassette, 8 track, and a host of speakers from Europe, Japan, and the U.S.. When I retired from the Navy I began dabbling in selling and swapping that majority of my working collection. When I reached my golden years, various cancers, kidney failure, eyesight, heart issues etc., left me pretty much incapable of repairing several units still in my possession. In my search for someone who could help me get a lot of my old gear working, I started reading reviews on a multitude of repair sites and that's how I stumbled across Rasmussen's website. At first, I slow walked my relationship, dipping my toes in the water before taking a full on plunge. I'm extremely pleased to say that after trusting numerous turntables to Thomas's work bench, he has never disappointed me, and he has successfully restored or otherwise delivered on all of the gear I've sent his way returning each unit back to fantastic and fully operational status. If you're wanting a technician who you can count on, stop searching now as this is the man who'll put your components back in like new operational condition. Don't continue dragging your feet like I did, reach out today and put your audiophile treasures back online with Rasmussen's Repairs! Thank you for the new RCA leads, speed controls and other repairs, etc.. You're an awesome technician and I wish you the very best! read more
