I set it down and told him it wouldn't turn on and explained what I tried. He told me his rate was $125 per 30 minutes and he wouldn't even touch it until I agreed. So he didn't know if he could even fix it let alone how long or if there would be added costs for the fix. He told me this was a "VERY fair rate". So this was WAY more than I expected to pay being an hour of work equated to over half the cost of my device. I then went to Micro Center down the road who could diagnose it for $80 flat and would help cover any costs of the fix. I went with Micro Center and they fix my computer and returned it 3 days later for $120 total. Now I think this business could've fixed my computer same day but I would've guessed at double the price and I didn't mind waiting. Overall I'm giving this a 2 because it seems expensive and telling me it was a fair rate seemed dishonest. The one employee wasn't overall very mean or anything but he came across as unwilling to help or answer any questions I had.

He looked at the computer for free, then fixed it then & there for a very reasonable minimum. I highly recommend him, both for his expertise and trustworthiness. I occasionally worked on Macs for years at my work, but Mark looked at my dead MacBook Air, which I assumed was a dead brick that I would spend a little on to confirm that, and did something I would have never thought of, simple and effective. Then ran several diagnostic softwares on it to clean up the system and HD mapping. What's more he was great to talk to, and very personable for a technician. I look forward to calling him for all my computer problems.

After numerous unsuccessful trouble shooting trips to the Apple Genius Bar, I contacted Mark and soon received a text message with a few questions. He met me at my home on a Friday afternoon. We determined my hard drive needed to be wiped clean and reinstalled from my backup. He took my machine home and kept me informed via text. Mark returned the machine to me on Sunday afternoon.
