Well if u would have said we looked over the whole cover and added some stitching else where so it wouldn't ever separate again since u had to pay for the whole hour {as that being the minimum), maybe I could understand the price but u did no such thing, just did the minimum probably 10 minutes worth of work if that read more

How Wichtermans Saved Us Thousands of Dollars My wife and I recently bought a 2024 Volvo SUV. She had driven a Lexus RX350 for years, but wanted something a little smaller. The Volvo seemed perfect--especially because the seat felt comfortable enough for her bad back when she test drove it. Unfortunately, after about a month of driving, her back pain became so severe that she could no longer sit in the car at all. We tried everything, even a custom seat cushion, but nothing worked. We ended up switching cars--she drove the Volvo, which was too big for her, and I drove her smaller car, which was far too small for me. It was frustrating, and we even considered trading in the Volvo for something else. Instead, we had the idea to see if someone could make the Volvo seat more like the Lexus seat that had worked so well for years. After researching several companies, I found Wichtermans and spoke with Grant. From that first conversation, I knew we were in the right hands. Grant and Paul had my wife sit in the seat, quickly identified what needed to be done, and promised they would adjust it as many times as necessary until she was completely comfortable. True to their word, we needed one small adjustment, which they happily and promptly made. The result was a seat that fit my wife perfectly. The cost was minimal--especially compared to what we would have lost trading in a brand-new car. Wichtermans exceeded every expectation: professional, skilled, punctual, and truly committed to customer satisfaction. Thanks to Grant and Paul, my wife is now happily driving her Volvo in total comfort. read more

Super helpful! They repaired a broken strap on my son's snowboard perfectly. Highly recommend their services.

Wichterman's is a very professional place to do business with. I have worked with them for a number of years now. My latest project is restoring the fabric seats for a 1973 Pontiac Grand Am. I thought I would never find that kind of material for a 50 year old car. Grant went to the vault to find the old sample books. He found the EXACT same material and a supplier that had it in stock! The seat design is very intricate and they restored it perfectly! I am in the process of trying to buy a 1967 Ford North Dakota farm truck. If I get it, no doubt it's going to Wichterman's for the interior work. read more

This is a great company with beautifully crafted products! I'd recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE. I brought in my jeep headliner that I took out myself and scratched away most of the remaining fuzz on the headliner. It took them 2 weeks to complete the job and when I came in to get it they hadn't even finished the job. They didn't cut the holes out for the speakers or lights and didn't finish glueing around the edges plus the job was done poorly as there was an air pocket in the fabric they had put on the headliner AND they had damaged the back of my headliner as well. They charged me 4 hours worth of work for 80$ an hour when literally they just slapped the fabric on the headliner and glued it on without glueing the sides down. I have watched multiple videos on how this process is done and what they did at most should have taken them 2 hours. They claimed it took a while to get the fabric off since it was new even though I was peeling it off with my own bare hands!!!! I brought it back to them after I realized there was an air pocket in the fabric and asked for a price reduction since they half way completed the job, damaged it a little and I felt charged for too many hours of labor. Whoever I talked to said they would talk to the boss but nothing ever materialized. It then took them another 3 days to just fix one small bubble in the headliner. I can not state enough how they charged me 4 hours worth of work when they literally didn't finish the job!! its almost laughable but not really since it cost me a lot of money. I also can't state enough how bad the finished product was. the second time I came back to pick it up they "finished the job" by cutting the holes that needed to be cut and glueing the edges down. however the edging was terribly glued and coming apart just about at every place. It was such a joke yelp is having trouble uploading my photos so if you want to see the photos go to my google review of this company I posted pictures there. read more

I had a very positive experience at Wichterman's. I had a tear in the vinyl leatherette on the driver's side seat of my car. I was referred to Wichterman's my one of the mobile repair companies in town. This particular repair company was particularly honest - they told me that I could use their service and they would attempt to repair the rip. However, they leveled with me that the best option would be to contact Wichterman's. They said that Wichterman's keeps a wide variety of products in stock, and can quickly recover the area in question. I dropped my car off in Chanhassen on a Tuesday night. I had an email at 2 pm the next day saying the repairs are all done. And they did a REALLY nice job. The seat looks completely new. And the best part is the cost was exceptionally reasonable. Honestly, it wasn't much more than the quotes I received for a mobile team to come out and try to fix it with a heat gun and reseal it (which would have shown a repair had been done). And with Wichterman's, my vinyl seat is totally new! Honestly, I'm really pleased with the work and the speed. And I'm grateful to the mobile leather repair company that referred me to them. I would recommend their work. read more
