This particular repair company was particularly honest - they told me that I could use their service and they would attempt to repair the rip. However, they leveled with me that the best option would be to contact Wichterman's. They said that Wichterman's keeps a wide variety of products in stock, and can quickly recover the area in question. I dropped my car off in Chanhassen on a Tuesday night. I had an email at 2 pm the next day saying the repairs are all done. And they did a REALLY nice job. The seat looks completely new. And the best part is the cost was exceptionally reasonable. Honestly, it wasn't much more than the quotes I received for a mobile team to come out and try to fix it with a heat gun and reseal it (which would have shown a repair had been done). And with Wichterman's, my vinyl seat is totally new! Honestly, I'm really pleased with the work and the speed. And I'm grateful to the mobile leather repair company that referred me to them. The Volvo seemed perfect--especially because the seat felt comfortable enough for her bad back when she test drove it. Unfortunately, after about a month of driving, her back pain became so severe that she could no longer sit in the car at all. We tried everything, even a custom seat cushion, but nothing worked. We ended up switching cars--she drove the Volvo, which was too big for her, and I drove her smaller car, which was far too small for me. It was frustrating, and we even considered trading in the Volvo for something else. Instead, we had the idea to see if someone could make the Volvo seat more like the Lexus seat that had worked so well for years. After researching several companies, I found Wichtermans and spoke with Grant. From that first conversation, I knew we were in the right hands. Grant and Paul had my wife sit in the seat, quickly identified what needed to be done, and promised they would adjust it as many times as necessary until she was completely comfortable. Why can't you come out and repair it it is your crappy couch you sold me. The person I did pay to come out to repair it said this will probably happen again because it was loosely stitched and he said this is totally manufacturer defect and not sewn correctly. So I would not recommend anyone buying anything from Furniture Manor and their crappy warranty company. I thought I was helping a small store I will only go to the big box stores from now on. After speaking with Jeff, post me losing my cool with Andrew, he found a different system that had to be custom made to work. So in Jan, MIS took out the failed system that they installed and replaced it with a modified system that functions perfectly. They worked to fix a problem that was not an install issue. It was a component issue. It took time and they got it right. Since they were willing to work with me and provided me a functional infotainment system I had them also install a front and rear dash cam system. I really appreciate the customer care. Thanks

Not…read moreonly did it crap out after 1.5 years, but the person who installed it left my car computer dangling by the gas pedals, and the remote only worked within 50 feet. To make it all somehow worse: when I made the appointment that October, they were booked out till January. My appointment finally comes, and I get a call saying that the technician has COVID and the earliest they can see me is March. So I went the whole winter I had expected to have an auto starter with no auto starter... Turbo Tim's recommended this place to me since they don't do auto starter's, and I am THRILLED with my experience. They had appointments within a few days, the prices are incredibly fair for great models that include the price of installation, the technicians were friendly and super knowledgeable, the starter actually works as advertised, they left my car in better shape than they found it (by putting my computer in its place), and I got a discount because they were able to reuse some pieces from my old starter. Could not have asked for a better experience and will be recommending this place to anyone looking for an auto starter.
