I really had issues with the infotainment system MIS installed on my 2020 pathfinder in November. Apparently MIS will no longer work with the company that made the replacement system due to the excessive issues. After speaking with Jeff, post me losing my cool with Andrew, he found a different system that had to be custom made to work. So in Jan, MIS took out the failed system that they installed and replaced it with a modified system that functions perfectly. They worked to fix a problem that was not an install issue. It was a component issue. It took time and they got it right. Since they were willing to work with me and provided me a functional infotainment system I had them also install a front and rear dash cam system. I really appreciate the customer care. Got an auto starter installed by Best Buy a few years ago and have always had problems with it. Not only did it crap out after 1.5 years, but the person who installed it left my car computer dangling by the gas pedals, and the remote only worked within 50 feet. To make it all somehow worse: when I made the appointment that October, they were booked out till January. My appointment finally comes, and I get a call saying that the technician has COVID and the earliest they can see me is March. So I went the whole winter I had expected to have an auto starter with no auto starter... Turbo Tim's recommended this place to me since they don't do auto starter's, and I am THRILLED with my experience. They had appointments within a few days, the prices are incredibly fair for great models that include the price of installation, the technicians were friendly and super knowledgeable, the starter actually works as advertised, they left my car in better shape than they found it (by putting my computer in its place), and I got a discount because they were able to reuse some pieces from my old starter. I had my system installed here and also bought a new amp from them. The install was super clean, and my subs were hitting hard--until they blew later that day. That wasn't on Mobile Installations though--that was on me for using low-quality subs. Even so, I came back the next day, and they went above and beyond. They gave me a discount on a new set of subs and re-tuned the whole setup for free. Top-tier service. If you're planning to invest in a serious sound system, these are the only guys I'd recommend. I found out about Jeff and his team after another installer in Richfield said they only do Android mobile phone head units. Really? I sell Apple cases and wanted Apple's Car Play. Jeff installed an Alpine iLX 007. If you use iPhone 5 and above - don't wait, install this now. It is AWESOME. Works just like you would expect an apple device to work, intuitively and beautiful. I had a car starter put in my Dodge Avenger in October 2017. They were fast to get me in (within a week) and took a day to install. I only had one phone call interaction to schedule appointment/ask questions about the car starter I was interested in. They did try to upsell me on a longer range starter instead of fully focusing on what product I was interested in. The 2nd interaction was to pick up the vehicle I dropped off the night before. Business seems nice, simply paid and left. Fast interaction, I wouldn't say overly friendly but gets the job done. I wanted to wait until Minnesota's true winter cold weather came before I gave my opinion on the product, the starter has not once failed to start my car (even in the -40 degree weather). I would say overall the starter is great and I would suggest starting your research here to look into car starters. read more

Wouldn't go here again. Long story short, whomever installed my $1200 car stereo and $600 speakers completely butchered the job. I had to pay someone else to fix all the things that they messed up, which was basically everything. 4 hours later and over $600 extra, and my radio is finally working correctly. Some of my speakers didn't even have any sound coming out of them! And when adjusting the sound it's backwards, so front is back and back is front. My tweeters have no sound coming out of them either! And my subwoofer wasn't connected and neither was my amplifier. And the cover was never put back on my amp either, so it's just been exposed to everything. For such an expensive, nice system, it sounded like shit and barely worked at all. My radio constantly cut out when it was working. I should've just went somewhere originally because now it's costing me over $600 more to fix their mess. Although the owners are nice and probably know what they're doing, whomever installed my speakers and radio clearly did not know what they are doing. Beware when going here. These guys are awesome. I took my boat in over the summer to get a new stereo installed. The previous owner had left a total rats nest of broken equipment/wires behind a dash panel. Mobile install cleaned it all up and installed the stereo I purchased online for a really reasonable price. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner said he didn't love the faceplate they put on the dash so had made a second one and was just finishing installing it himself which I appreciated. Everything looks great and the stereo worked well all summer. As I hooked up my boat I realized I left my trailer light extension at home and mentioned I would stop at Fleet Farm across the road. The owner proceeded to rewire the front of my boat trailer at no charge (staying 30 min past closing) saying he wanted to make sure I got home safe. Who offers this kind of customer service these days? At the risk of being even more long winded, I saw how the owner interacts with his staff. Tried to get a stereo installed with them they initially said that it would take 2 hours on a Saturday then a few days later they said it would take more than 3 and a half hours and they could not do it that Saturday. I recently was in a car accident this year (Early 2016) where my car was totaled and I needed to obtain a receipt for their services and the owner responded to me late at night even when he was out of town to address my issue. This is the BEST place to go to for all your mobile installation services (hence the shop's name)!!! Talk about fast service, knowledgeable technicians, reasonable prices, customer service area with TV, free drinks, clean restroom, this place has it. They can do it all and do it right the first time! They take the time to listen to what you are saying and want done and they do it. Twice I've been there, once to have heated seats done and the second time to have a radio removed (which was installed at another shop - apparently by a 5 year old with no experience) and another radio installed in its place. And they did excellent work both times. They have no problem selling you what mechandise you're looking for or installing what you bring with you. And from my experience there is no difference in pricing. They can be quite busy at times, and you might have to wait a week or so for an appointment but IT'S WELL WORTH THE WAIT! You're making a huge mistake in going elsewhere!!!!!!! I worked with Steve at the customer service desk and Tommy who did the installation work. Two GREAT guys, who gave me the BEST customer service around! I am thankfull that I chose this shop for the work I wanted done.
