The beef was incredibly tender and juicy, the chicken perfectly seasoned, and the wings were absolutely delicious and crisp, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The customer service here is unmatched. Amin and Santi were outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. These gentlemen made the experience even better with their great energy and professionalism. The restaurant is very clean, and I love that the owner personally walks around greeting guests and making sure every plate is impeccable. That level of pride shows in every bite. The food was really good. The koshari was well priced and was amazing. On the side I ordered Kofta and that has got to be one of the best kofta I've ever had, very juicy. Service was amazing kept checking in on us if we were doing good. The seating was nice. Would come back and try again read more

went TWICE in one week... their lemonade is pretty good and refreshing. Tried some soda that actually had little bits of peaches in it, delicious! and the food is GREAT, will keep going until I try the whole menu read more

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood, we loved the fried pickles, lentil soup, lamb burger and both the lamb and chicken shawarma were fantastic and generously portioned. Sam the owner greeted us personally and warmly. The lemonade was also fantastic. Highly recommend! read more

My first time trying this place! It is amazing. I got the lentil soup and the falafel appetizer, and it was flavorful and very good portion size. Good Mediterranean food is hard to find. Lots of people try to open these restaurants, but have little experience. Pharoahs kitchen is Egyptian owned, and they are homegrown. They definitely deliver quality Mediterranean food. Everyone needs to visit. read more

Excellent food and very charming waitress. Thanks Ava, we really enjoyed our chicken and king tut meals

DON'T PASS THIS UP!!! I was looking for a meeting point for friends who live in Spring and us in Katy, found Pharaoh's Kitchen, but wasn't fully sold. Initial walk in experience, met by the sweetest, kindest and smiliest host. She helped us order with a smile and laughter. After receiving our food, 3 beef Kabob Plates and a Schwarma plate, WOW.....OUR SOCKS WERE KNOCKED OFF!!! The flavor was unlike any Mediterranean restaurant I've visited. It wasn't just a standard flavor for an order. This place really felt like visiting the home of a great Mediterranean cook who shares their love of cooking food!!! Seriously, all the other big Houston Mediterranean Restaurants have nothing on this place. They are just the McDonald's version. Pharaohs has step out the box and raised the bar!! We met the owner and he was the most kind and pleasant man ever! THIS IS A MUST STOP! Prices are so much more reasonable than other places too! read more

Great food and service! Pita bread is delicious and everything was fresh and had great flavors. Portions sizes were enough for a to-go box.

Gyros and Turkish coffee was good and they are really friendly. Would highly recommend.

Quick Update, we're on our way back to Pharoahs kitchen and invited our neighbors as they've never tried Mediterranean food there pretty picky foodies and great cooks so they rarely venture out heres a pic from last time of the dining room, We Love Pharoahs and you'll love it too read more

Friendly service, delicious food, generous portions. I stopped by for takeout yesterday. I ordered the mixed kofta platter, the Pharaoh's traditional sampler, and extra pita. There was more than enough food for two of us plus lunch the next day. Everything tasted freshly prepared and delicious. Next time I want to try some of the Egyptian specialties. read more

The service is good, and the food even better! The lamb gyro is amazing--a must try. It's also a generous size gyro.

I've been 3 times and little things changed each time. Most annoying is no more menus. All electronic. I don't want to read the menu on my phone' Gyro pita no longer a stand alone. Added $3.00 to price and comes with fries only. Substitutions now $3.99 Fries came with real ketchup. Next visit I get ketchup packets. In the dining room! Gyro had good flavor. Pita was nice and thick at first but today it was thin as a pancake. Guess they had to cut back here too I'm gonna give it another try. read more

We ordered a kofta and shish kabob wrap on our way to an event over Memorial day weekend. The BF wasn't as keen on the shish kabob because he doesn't like turmeric at all. However, I thought it was great, so we swapped. It's a mixed bag going out with a picky eater, but we make it work. He liked their onion rings, and I had the jalapeno poppers, which were alright. Good service, and the pitas were much larger than we were expecting. plenty of veggies inside the wrap that were juicy and fresh - so I advise people to cut them in half and eat from the middle first if you don't like wet pita. I had enough for left overs, and on the second day, it was fab in a cold chopped salad. Both wraps came with a very interesting turmeric onion condiment that I really liked. We will be back to try more things when we're in the area. read more

First visit for lunch today and I was very impressed. Ordered the chicken gyro pita with fries. The food was hot and fresh with lots of flavor. The service was better than excellent and the staff was very friendly. The inside is very clean and comfortable. HIGHLY recommend. read more

I went here for lunch the other day with my family, and we are already talking about going again! We tried the lamb gyro with the hummus and pita bread as the side and the chicken shawarma with the tabbouleh salad. The lamb was phenomenal. It was very tender just like the chicken. Both meats were full of flavor, and the rice was excellent as well. The service was just ok. Our waitress was nice, but she was very short and not very helpful to us first-timers. This is the only reason I would not give Pharaohs Kitchen five stars. The restaurant itself was fairly quiet which made our meal enjoyable. read more

While my rating here is pretty good, there were two things that annoyed me during my visit that I want to bring up. First, they don't give you a printed menu. You have to use the QR code. When I asked for a printed menu, my waitress hesitantly brought me one, but said they weren't really allowed to do that. I didn't want to get the young lady in trouble, so I told her I would just use the QR code. But what's up with that. I understand you want to save yourself the money and the hassle by using QR code menus, but almost all places have a paper version for old farts like me who prefer them. Secondly... I ordered the gyro platter, which is described as lamb gyro topped with tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, red onions and tomatoes. What I got was lamb meat on a bed of rice with sauce, feta and tomatoes on top. No pita. No wrap. When I asked where my pita was, the waitress said, "This doesn't come with pita." What the....??!!!!! Maybe (and I stress MAYBE) you could argue that gyro refers to the meat, not the sandwich. (And this isn't actually true. Look up the definition of "gyro" online. It's the wrap.). But people are going to expect the wrap, not just meat on a bed of rice. Technically a hot dog is just the sausage. But you order a hot dog at a restaurant and it comes out without a bun, you're going to be pissed. Look, my food was delicious and the service was very good. But I'm tired of restaurant mangers doing stupid annoying sh**. read more

We went there on one of the first nights they opened. The place is clean and then temperature was comfortable. It's not a huge place but it's not cramped either. Now the menu item photos looked very delicious and when our food came out it matched what was shown. The girl taking our order and the owner were very friendly and inviting which added to the enjoyable experience. Now the food was on point! The flavors and portions were so delicious! This place is definitely my new favorite Mediterranean spot! read more

Food was fresh and service was kind and attentive. Tabbouleh had more of a lime taste than I'm used to and a bit bitter. Perhaps lemon would take the edge off. I did enjoy the food and am excited to try more of their menu ! Welcome to Houston ! read more

Decided to give this new restaurant a try and was very pleased! They have a fairly large menu and a good variety of items. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter which was very fresh and flavorful! It came with a side of garlic sauce that was delicious even though it was yellow in color. Great portions at a good price. The ambiance is ok but the service was great! The food is amazing, especially at very reasonable prices. We had Greek salad, tabbouleh, tzatziki with pita bread, cheese curds, and their version of a cheesesteak with fries. The fries are lightly battered and no kidding, some of the best I have ever eaten. The service is super friendly, everything is clean, and I'd come back here again if ever in the area. We were just here briefly to pick up a car and took a chance on the first restaurant that came up on the list of places to eat nearby. Very lucky for us, and absolutely recommended. read more

We had a great time at this restaurant. The workers were very attentive, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the food was great. We had a falafel pita and a lamb platter, and a bonus baklava. The falafel was perfectly cooked-crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lamb platter was plentiful. The lamb was perfectly cooked. In some restaurants, you have to have sauce put on the food to have any taste, but not here. Each part of the dishes was packed with great flavor. It shows they really care about presenting food, like they were cooking for family. We had samples of their in-restaurant-made baklava that was warm, sweet, nutty, and probably the best I ever had. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. Finally- a new restaurant with great food and caring staff. read more
