Two things impressed me the most: 1) Quality if the containment--I went in after the after the air clearance test passed, and EVERYTHING was covered, neatly taped, protective layer and plastic over the floor. 2) Cleanliness when done--the 50 year old framing looked like new boards!! Quite honestly, it was an exciting time! But guess what? Nothing made my day more "exciting" than knowing that my little city was being taken care of. This is where ServPro of North Fort Worth comes in. I'll shorten the name to "ServPro" throughout the rest of this review to save on my fragile finger muscles. You know how they say it takes a whole village to raise a child? Well, who's looking after the village if everyone's eyes are on the kid? Cute creature, but who's keeping the well clean? The chickens got out of the coop again, but we're teaching the thing how to write in cursive, because priorities. Cindy's hut is on fire, but let's make like Usher and let it burn because little Charlie just gurgled...again, and we have to text everyone we've ever met to let them know. No, you call ServPro instead. ServPro kept my village running smoothly so that I could keep my priorities, my priorities. Fun fact! Did you know that buildings actually move?! Yeah, many times they like to keep it simple and do a little shoulder shrug. No biggie. They're annoyed, I'm annoyed, the kid in that village is annoyed. It's totally fine. Other times, they like to complete a whole cheerleading routine and the only thing that that comes to mind is that one scene from Bring It On, yeah, you know the one. "Front handspring, step out, back handspri..." - you get my meaning. So while my buildings were at tryouts, I could remain calm, because I knew that ServPro could handle anything. More specifically, I knew that John G. from ServPro of North Fort Worth could handle anything. John G., if you ever have the pleasure, is the guy on their team that makes you say things like, "You guys are lucky to have him" and actually mean it. John handled everything from small potatoes like little leaks and drywall patches, to big fish such as mold remediation. Not only that, but he's a walking encyclopedia of everything "building repair", and when he starts to talk, listen. You will learn something new. I know I did, and still do. Today, in fact, I had a tree fall on a resident's vehicle. Sounds easy enough. It's all fun and games until you have to consider things like "personal liability" or "where does private property end". To people like me it's a molehill just waiting to become a mountain, and who do I call? ServPro. And who comes out, chainsaw in-hand? John G. does. He executes the mission perfectly. At the time, they were recommended to us as an approved contractor from our insurance company State Farm. They worked with my insurance company. They were able to start right away when it was common to have months long wait during that storm. They worked on our home for several months and Albert, the owner and Clifton the contractor were down to earth, friendly people. They became like family to us and were eager to please and even redid any work that wasn't to our liking. It was a difficult time for many people in the metroplex during that ice storm but I know Serv Pro did the best they could for us during a very trying year. And now we will be enjoying a beautiful house for years to come.

The only tell we had was swollen baseboards. After a while of this "silent leak", carpets, baseboards, and drywall were all soaked and, mold was found. Then, enter Mr. Plumber, who served us a ridiculous plumbing bill. To say the least, my wife and I were not excited to spend more $$$ on restoration, not to mention rebuilding. But mostly, we were not excited to get another earful of jargon, that we did not understand and had no way of telling, if it was true. However, that was not our experience at all. Aaron and his crew were extremely informative and did everything they could to salvage as much as they could. Which saved us big $$$$ in the end! I'm told by several people, that another restoration company especially the ones that rebuild what they rip out; might have taken more than what was needed. As I thought about it, I realized there wouldn't be anyone to say otherwise.... With Aaron and Servpro of east side Ft. Worth we felt very confident that, this was not going to be our experience. They took there time telling us every possible detail before they began, and even came over to reexplain to my wife as I did not want to try and regurgitate what they told me. After the very minimal demolition, they sprayed for mold, set up the drying fans, and let us know exactly what would happen next. They came to check the drying process each day until everything was dry. To sum up the service that Aaron and his crew provided, I would say it was honest, efficient, and cost effective! More $$$ in my pocket and language I can understand equals 5 stars in my book!

We had pipes burst in the 2024 Icemageddon. Thankfully our Property Manager knew of this restoration company and called them. The Supervisor was here immediately to assess the situation and get things started. He procured and coordinated all the subcontractors. He was courteous, reliable and always onsite. The main office followed up with very detailed daily reports. The crews were efficient, polite and very organized. They were here for four days. The first two were bedlam - as soon as one water leak was cleaned up another would start. The plumbers were turning off water, finding and fixing leaks, turning on water to find and fix new leaks! The crews handling the water abatement were catching water, drying water, removing water and finally putting out dryers, dehumidifiers only to have to start the whole process over again! The last two were getting the building back in order and removing baseboards so mold wouldn't grow and we were getting back to normal. This would have been so much worse if not for them - Thank You!
