I'm not from the area, and knew I'd need a lot of assistance and education to convert to and maintain the landscape of my dreams. To say I'm pleased and blown away by the quality of work they completed would be a drastic understatement. Our result is far beyond what we hoped for & imagined and came in on budget (although when they see it people think we spent far more!) Even before the project was complete, neighbors were stopping by to get a closer look and comment on how nice it looks. Now that we're finished, several of my neighbors have already inquired with Arborscape to initiate their own landscape redesigns with them. On top of the high quality and tremendous value, the team of staff are genuinely great people, and now that our project is over we actually miss having them around. There are a lot of options for landscaping in the area, but Arborscape gets the job done, and brings quality and experience that won't let you down. - Very competitive pricing, significantly better value than all other quotes received - Team incredibly experienced, punctual, and friendly - Lonnie is truly an expert in drought-tolerant landscaping and California-native plants - In addition to being a technical expert, Lonnie is a true artist in his design innovation and implementation, and constructs plans that are not only functional, but unique and delightful to look at - Team allowed me to be as involved as I wanted/was able, frequently involving me in design decisions, explaining concepts behind their techniques, and even educating my young son about how plants grow, how irrigation works, etc. - Familiar with SoCal WaterSmart program & requirements, able to ensure our project stayed in compliance and exceeded the requirements

He told me I would receive a call right back when he received the photos and provide a quote. He never called back. I messaged him the following day asking if he was still interested and he promptly called me, giving me a quote. He offered two different times he would be available for my work and our appointment was scheduled. The day of our appointment, Francisco was a No-Call/No-Show. I messaged him and asked if he was on his way, and according to his Read Receipts he read the message and ignored it. I messaged him again and he ignored it. I called his phone and he sent it to voicemail. All this to say, Francisco wasted my time. I understand he may have a lot of other work that takes a lot of his time, but so do I and I don't have time to waste for someone who won't even give me the courtesy of a phone call to explain why they may be late to a job. Francisco is unprofessional and unreliable. Definitely not worth 1 star. Move on to the next company.

Taven came in and picked up where the last landscaper left off, seamlessly matching the hardscape that was half-finished. The result? So much better than we could have imagined with the other landscaper. The lighting he added is incredible. In one word: WOW! From the very start, Taven took immense care in working with us through each step, making us feel like his top priority. A few months after completing our front yard, we had him come back to redo the landscaping and hardscape in our backyard. His crew is incredibly kind and hardworking, ensuring our satisfaction every step of the way. Taven even drove to many nurseries to hand-pick top-quality plants for us. He is truly a master at his craft, and the lighting he added makes our backyard feel magical. We are absolutely blown away. We now look forward to enjoying our yard every night. We had met with several contractors but none provided the vision and the details as to how we should design our front yard. The transformation he did to our front yard was amazing!! My husband told Taven, "you set the bar so high last time, can you do it again?".....well HE DID! What he did exceeded our expectations! Taven replaced all of our planter beds, installed paver stones, artificial grass, and selected the perfect plants all within 4 days as promised. I thought, no way, but he did!! He brings his whole team in who are very professional, always on time and cleaned up every day. The finishing touch with the lighting is what makes it next level. Greg did a rough sketch, added suggestions, and we went from there. All prior grass and planting material were removed by them as agreed upon prior to the work beginning. They had a clean slate to work with. Upon clearing an area with plants Greg and Jimmy came upon two alligator lizards that they moved to the back yard. Hopefully, they will find their way back to the front yard after the work is completed. They really did create a beautiful outdoors landscape bringing feelings of the Sierra Mountains and Joshua Tree to the landscape. An example of how a low maintenance and drought tolerant landscape can be lush and exciting. During the process, both Greg and Jimmy paid meticulous attention to detail with the placement of the brick walkway, brick lined pathway, placement of boulders, rocks for the dry creek bed, and plants. Happy that I opted to add the outdoor lighting. The lighting adds to the magic of the landscape. Needless to say, the landscape went beyond my wildest expectation and works well with a historical Tudor style home. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much Earth Tones Landscaping for an amazing landscape and all of your hard work and effort to make it happen.
