I needed palm trees and some other trees trimmed and after the windstorm they were a mess. I have used D&N previously but I still got some other estimates. D&N is very fair and a good value. Francisco has been in business many years, he's reliable, and he keeps in contact from the estimate to the completion of the job. His crew does very good work. I am very satisfied and recommend D& N Tree Care. read more

Francisco answered the first call I made to request a quote. I was told to send photos of the trees I wanted trimmed, which I did promptly. He told me I would receive a call right back when he received the photos and provide a quote. He never called back. I messaged him the following day asking if he was still interested and he promptly called me, giving me a quote. He offered two different times he would be available for my work and our appointment was scheduled. The day of our appointment, Francisco was a No-Call/No-Show. I messaged him and asked if he was on his way, and according to his Read Receipts he read the message and ignored it. I messaged him again and he ignored it. I called his phone and he sent it to voicemail. All this to say, Francisco wasted my time. I understand he may have a lot of other work that takes a lot of his time, but so do I and I don't have time to waste for someone who won't even give me the courtesy of a phone call to explain why they may be late to a job. Francisco is unprofessional and unreliable. Definitely not worth 1 star. Move on to the next company. read more

I had a weird request and they were able to handle it without any issues. I wanted paperwork documenting the type of trees in my yard so I could protect them and possibly attach a monetary value to them for a pending lawsuit (neighbor keeps trespassing and damaging my trees). They were able to identify the types of trees I had, the health and secure location of them, and provide me with the documentation needed to protect my yard. The tech informed me that he usually does reports stating when a tree is diseased and needs to be removed so it was nice & different doing a report for healthy trees. Also, while he was here I was able to inquire about possible work in the future for landscaping without having to make a separate appointment. If you are considering hiring a company for landscaping services or even just paperwork, I highly recommend. read more

They showed up the next day on time and completed the tree and stump removal the next day in less than 4 hours. Their quote was less than the others I received straight off. I used their services three years ago at another home and both times they were professional, on time and the best deal. read more

Francisco and his team are amazing! I recently had a massive tree fall through my house and his team, even though they had just come off working through the night were at my house the very next morning! I sent the bid out to about 4 different arborist and they came in very fairly priced while all the other businesses i got quotes from couldn't start the work for a week. Hard working team and the owner, Francisco, kept me updated with pictures and videos as the work was being done. Thanks guys! read more

Did a fast and professional job. Knowledgeable regarding the trees on my property. Made good recommendations.

Excellent experience. I needed overgrown tall hedges trimmed. I also needed quite a few trees maintained including fruit trees, sego palms, juniper, etc. Francisco did and team did a great job: from meeting me to walk through the project, to providing the quote, to scheduling the work, to showing up on time, then performing the work exactly as discussed and leaving everything clean. Really great looking work. Would definitely use them again. read more

This is the second time we had Francisco with D & N Tree Care, Inc., attend to our tree in the front yard. Yrs ago we had him trim it, this yr we had him thin and top the tree. Francisco and his team do great work. They arrived on time, thinned & topped our tree as requested. Plus they cut the wood to use as firewood, and placed the firewood where we asked. The workers did a great job at cleaning up after themselves. D & N Tree Care, Inc., is our tree trimming company who we highly recommend. ~ K & C read more

I was trying to get quotes and thus company was supposed to give me in and never showed up.

Simply the best! Our usual tree company gave us a quote for a job we had and then flaked when it came to scheduling. Johnny came to our door one day and said they would be working in the neighborhood that week. We saved his card and looked up the reviews online. I contacted them to get a quote and they came out the same day. Turns out they had a crew available due to a cancellation. Johnny gave me a great price for multiple trees we needed removed and trimmed as well as hedges to trim. They finished the job same day. The crew was very thoughtful of our property and did a great job. They even were able to trim a tree we have that has bees living inside as they had a full suit for the tree trimmer. D&N will get our business going forward for sure! read more

I cannot stress enough how capable, professional, and knowledgeable Francisco is. After a string of horrific "arborists" have tried to kill our 100+ year old eucalyptus trees, not even bothering to seal cuts and treat or recognize disease, I've been desperate for someone who knows what they're doing. Lacing a tree to lighten the load, keep branches from dropping, and supervise work without charging insane amounts of money to do so. This man and his crew, a total godsend. I've not found anyone this good, hands down, ever. He came in like a tree angel and saved a couple we were petrified would not make it. I am SO GRATEFUL. His work, the pics speak for themselves. He is sincere and lovely and I can't wait to use him again. NO ONE else will touch our trees moving forward. I'm genuinely relieved to be able to trust someone with our heritage trees! read more

Francisco and his crew were very professional and overall amazing to work with! He was on our cul-de-sac working on a neighbor's yard and was able to conveniently give us an estimate. We needed some work done on our backyard that was long overdue for a makeover. Francisco was very knowledgeable and definitely knew his trees - he was able to name every single one! He also gave us recommendations on what type of shrubs are best for privacy and educated us which of our trees are dead/infested with termites. The crew was able to start the work on the same day. They came back the next morning before the promised time to finish the job. We were so happy with the results! The team left the backyard even cleaner than when they first started - they cleaned up every single branch/leaf that fell to the ground, now that's admirable work ethic. We highly recommend Francisco for any type of tree work and will be recommending him to all our friends and family. read more

I would recommend D and N for removing any large tree. They removed a giant stone pine that was growing too close to the house. The workers worked very hard and got it done in two days. Francisco made a "table and chairs" arrangement with the giant stump that we really like.(see pictures) There were some communication problems with Francisco, which is why I am giving 4 and not 5 stars. Also, they overtrimmed some trees and took down a fence which they didn't put back up. But the price for removal of the giant tree was extremely fair. read more

I needed to have my flower bed (3'x55') stripped of weeds, leveled, add weed barrier, mulch, and add a couple new trees. I contacted Francisco and he got in touch with me right away. He was able to come out the same day and give me an estimate for the work to be done. His price was reasonable and true to his word he was out bright and early the next morning with two assistants to get the job done. Although it started raining half way thru the job, the guys stuck it out and finished within about 4 hours. Francisco was very accommodating, made sure everything was to my liking and the job came out great. Well worth the cost to beautify the backyard. Highly recommend him for landscaping work. Especially if you are hoping for a quick turnaround as it was less than 24 hours from the time I requested a quote to the job being complete! Thanks Francisco and team! -Steve read more

They showed up when promised. Did an excellent job topping my 10 Italian cypress in the front yard and a great job topping two very tall and large eucalyptus trees and pruning back a lemon tree that had gotten a little too thick. They removed all limbs and cuttings raked up all the fallen eucalyptus branches and deposited the mulch along the tree line to help keep the weeds at bay. We hired D&N to remove some trees on our property. They did a really good job, so we requested that they give us a quote on additional work on our yard.
