Four guys showed up to do the work. They did a lousy job on the caulk, didn't have the right tools to fix the grout issue, realized they couldn't move the light, did a really lousy drywall patch job (the finish is not even close to the surrounding wall), and just generally did not inspire confidence. I paid them a partial amount just to go away. They never came back to try and finish the remaining jobs they quoted, and now they are not answering the phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They do excellent work, and the workers were great to work with, but it was my observation that…read morethere was often a lack of communication between what we wanted and what we ended up with. I also recommend the following: 1. Add a penalty clause for work going past their original estimated completion date. In our case, the job took more than two months past their original completion date at great inconvenience. 2. Be very precise about everything you want, down to number of circuits, outlets, precise trim, etc. 3. Don't just discuss any extra work that might be needed, get a written estimate for your approval. They have a $55/hour charge for extra work. Ask for an exact accounting for how the $55 was allocated. Write in the contract that all extra charges that are over the original estimate must be approved *in writing*. Our final cost was almost 20% more than the original estimate.

He blamed on not looking on the outside because there must have been less than an inch of snow the day before and apparently that you can't inspect the house with that much snow.

Richard told me to go to Menards and get my materials and do the jobs myself. Really what kind of attitude is that?
