This review itself is not about that issue, as the owner at the time, Josh, did everything he could to help us recover and the insurance process was relatively smooth. This review is due to ongoing leak/warranty issues and the fact that the current owner, Kevin, is refusing to do any warranty work or even come look at the roof. Kevin claimed we owed them $3,500 for additional work they did. We have shown Kevin proof in our text messages with Josh that we did not indeed owe them any money. This is because their insurance did not cover roughly $5,000 of our personal belongings. Josh and I came to an agreement that we would call the money we owed each other even for the additional work and the insurance claim. Josh never said or even hinted that we would be losing our warranty coverage (they technically owed me more money that I owed them). Kevin now says that we have zero warranty now through their company (should be 50 years) on our new $28,000 roof and refuses to send someone out. As a business owner myself, it is frankly astonishing to me the way that Kevin is acting. I had been patient and polite with Kevin, proved to him that we did not owe the company any money, and he repaid us by completely and unjustly revoking our roof warranty and refusing to stand by their craftsmanship. We would have absolutely recommended Platinum Quality under their original owner, but he has since left the company. Buyer beware.

I am now worried that siding wasn't properly taped as another one had the city come by to stop them installing. Maybe have a guy friend with you if you want to deal with the hostile siding guy, but his snotty, ragey phone call after I found issues with the installation were uncalled for. He also texted at 9:45PM in an angry tone. I 100% regret going with them, and if you want to walk on eggshells when you find issues and point them out, this is the place for you. Sabrina in the front office is amazing though, she's too good for the place. She didn't gaslight me or made me feel like an issue. 24 hours after the crew left (after working for 4 days), two pieces of the siding above my garage…read moredoor fell down. My three year old son was playing in the driveway at the time and was almost hit! Their resolution to this was to come out the next morning, put it back up, and "do a thorough inspection". Well they came back, were here 20 min. One guy from the same crew that first put it up nailed the two pieces back on while another guy from the crew walked around the house looking at it from a distance. That was their "inspection". I wouldn't have even known they were here if my Ring doorbell didn't send me a motion alert. They didn't knock, ring the bell, or talk to me at all when they arrived or when they left. I have no faith in this siding now. Spent $27.5k on it too! Oh and they also left pallets and leftover supplies in our driveway. So we still can't use half of our driveway. They're only getting one star because their sales rep we've been dealing with has been great at responding to us about questions we have had.
