My friend and I called a few hours in advance to request a visit for 2 specific dogs and made an appointment. We got there 10 minutes in advance and drove 45 minutes from Dallas to find out that 1 dog had sold(completely understandable) but the other dog was being transported to Houston that day. The manager was extremely kind and went out of his way to find the breed of dog we were looking for all the way back in Dallas. We were not made aware of any transportation happening during the conversation today and were not notified that by the time we got there, the pup would be gone. Again employees were kind but the lack of communication and consideration on where people are driving from was a bit upsetting. We could have stayed in Dallas and gone to the location that actually had the requested pups on hand. read more

We bought a dog from the Arlington location 6/11/2026, we brought her home she wouldn't eat that night despite not eating since 1:30 that day according to the store. She didn't eat the entire next day either. Took her to the vet where he noted she was underweight, we got her boosters and continued to try and feed her. That night we gave her boiled chicken which she did eat about 1 TBS. Almost immediately threw it up. She continued to throw up the next day and we took her to the ER vet at the advise of the pet store where was purchased and she was diagnosed with Parvo, being underweight (the vet was shocked she checked her weight twice) and being severely dehydrated. (Average number is ~30-40, hers was 98.9) we chose to get her treatment that cost an additional $2,000. We called the store the following morning to let them know so they could decontaminate as well as see what our options were because she came with a 5 day guarantee. They were rude and told us to email Crystal. I did and the only option was to bring her back for a refund or return her and get a new dog. I explained we already sought treatment for her and didn't want to bring her back because we obviously cared for her and getting a new dog from a contaminated store wasn't an option. Crystal stated several times that was the only option and ensured me they would never sell a sick dog and said she was tested prior to being placed in our care but can not give me any documentation proving this. This business is Deceitful and has had other golden retriever puppies that our dog likely came in contact with end up with Parvo as well. They switch dogs store from store creating cross contamination and exposure risk to all their pets. Side note: website states these animals are vet checked but nothing record beyond a printed piece of paper with dates on it. No vaccine lot numbers, no cited vet. NOTHING To their comment about being in a grassy area, we've never had a dog, this is in our own backyard which is a brand new build. I am also attaching a picture of her now that we've gotten her medicine and she can actually keep food down. Scary to see how underweight she was. read more

This place is a SCAM! We paid a $500 deposit that would guarantee the delivery of a dog we wanted. 2 days later they "accidentally" sold the dog. They said they wouldn't give us our deposit back but for an extra $1500 they could give us a similar dog. Huge scam, I should've listened. They do this other people to up sale. We had a budget for a dog we were promised and now they blocked our calls and told me they can sell me a more expensive dog or I can stop calling for my refund. This place is a joke. Our experience with Pettito Arlington was devastating and unacceptable. We brought home a puppy who was dead less than two weeks later from coccidia and a severe sinus infection. Families trust pet stores to sell healthy animals -- that did not happen here. The emotional damage to our family, especially our kids, has been real and lasting. There was no real transparency, no confidence in the puppy's health, and no accountability after the fact. We were sold a sick dog, and we're the ones who paid the price -- emotionally and financially. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a puppy here: ask hard questions, demand proof of health, and think twice before trusting this business. When I went in, they told my little brother that he would have to have some of 18 year-old for him to see a dog. I turned around and asked them for the same dog. They then backdoor it and said oh well we don't let everybody see it all of our dogs like their new babies. You don't just give your new baby to everybody, but they're definitely was other people in there holding a dog that they were not about to get and playing with the dog that they were not a go gate so I just think the experience was horrible. You visibly could see that some of the dogs are actually very sick. I need medical attention so be aware before you go paying or even trying to see a dog with the hopes of possibly buying one. **PLEASE BEWARE** I recently purchased a mini dachshund for over 4k from the Arlington location. Our baby boy went to visit my vet immediately after bringing him home and he has pneumonia from the pet store. I had to immediately turn around and pay a lot of money to help him recover. We love our boy and will invest what we need but when I called the store to present the issue they were dismissive. Please be careful. I would love for all these babies to have loving homes but this has made a very delicate time that much more problematic. read more

We had Beth. She was the only one there. I had recently lost my best friend (miniature schnauzer) due to cancer. He lived a good 8 years. My husband and I walked into this store one random day and Beth was all alone, cleaning. She greeted us and we told her that we were just looking. And that we had recently lost our dog. To be honest, I had no idea that I would be taking a dog home. Hero is his name. And yeah, she was very pleasant to work with. Imagine the roller coaster of emotions I was going thru. Was I being impulsive? Was it too soon? Why was I even there? No other dog will ever replace my late best friend. I felt guilt, and sadness. The whole nine yards when it comes to grief. Beth knew how to make our day a special one. Actually, the dog (Yorkie) was the one who chose us. His eyes gave it all away. I circled probably 5 times until I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to meet him. His eyes were what drew me to him. We spent some time with him and when we backed away at first because I felt like I was going to forget my late best friend. But, he began to bark and cry. After I held him again for that 2nd time. I knew that It was love at first sight. Just like when I randomly walked into Petland Frisco 8 years ago looking for aquarium conditioner. I had no idea I would be meeting and taking home my love, my best friend that day. And it happened again. I truly believe that dogs pick you. And Beth was very supportive, down to earth, she didn't pitch or try to be a salesperson with us. If a dog picks you, you will know. It was a beautiful experience. I cried holding him on the way home. That night, I dreamed of my late mini schnauzer (again), I've been dreaming of him here and there since he crossed over. In my dream, he was happy and content. I felt as though it was a sign. "Daddy, everything is going this be ok." If he could speak to me, he would definitely tell me that. The dream was like, "Daddy, I want you to be happy." Anyway, I'm still mourning him. So I am typing too much. As for the other employees, what a horrible experience some of you all went thru. I'm sorry! I can't speak for other personnel who work there. But Beth was an Angel. Beth, if you're reading this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget that day. read more

If I could leave a ZERO STAR RATING I WOULD! Latricia was the absolute WORSE person to work with. Prior to my arrival, I had already completed a finance application just because I like to know what I'm walking into and prefer not be blindsided. I arrived, advised Latricia and the other woman of my puppy interest, cleaned my feet and hands and went into the room to await for the puppy which took them 12 minutes exactly to bring out. The moment I started asking finance questions Latricia INSTANTLY started getting rude, making this experience very unpleasant. At one point she even raised her voice at me when I asked her why was the information she 4 me not correlating with the Information she literally displayed to me on her computer? She said management requested her to require a high deposit but the computer showed a low deposit and payments of a little over $100/monthly. As I expressed my concern to her, she gets abruptly loud, storms off and then tell me & I quote, " I was suppose to be off at 6, it's 6:16 I'm leaving" .... She then tells her other only coworker in the store while there's ATLEAST 20 people in the lobby, "I don't understand why this week had to be so hard, the last 2 weeks was easy". "I wish people would understand what they are getting they self into and stop making stuff so hard when they arrive here." I then said to her, "I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make anything hard for you, I'm trying to gain an understanding, which anyone spending their hard earned money and looking into financing should." I already knew exactly what I was getting myself into hence the reason I applied before arriving and I was already working with someone at the rowlett location, this Arlington location was just closer in the moment. The level of customer service here was so piss poor, it's ridiculous. For the amount of dogs they had in the kennels, you'd think they would bowing down to everyone who entered to help them clear out the tons of puppies they have. I called another location and mentioned my experience and before I could even get the name "Latricia" out, she already knew exactly who I was complaining on. She stated they often get complaints on her because she's RUDE! I had about 4 people tell me not to come here but I try to give everyone a chance and give the benefit of the doubt. I should've listened. Needless to say, I took my service right back to where I purchased my Cane Corso and fell inlove with my puppy there and walked out with my $5k mini golden doodle. I spent over $1700 more than what Petitto was asking of only $3,275 but he was surely worth it and so was the level of service along with the full package I received. Do not go here. We are currently being HARASSED by a woman named Latricia because we walked into this location planning to get a puppy. She should be fired at the very least. We drove an hour to go to this location specifically looking for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as we already have one and we would like to bring home a best friend for her. After waiting a long period of time (understandingly as they were busy) we finally got to meet the puppy we were interested in. The blonde "saleswoman" brought her over and we fell in love instantly. I asked about pricing and mentioned the Plano location (where we got our 1st King Charles) was not as expensive, she commented this puppy was AKC registered so I understood the price difference. We decided to bring the sweet girl home. The blonde lady left for a few minutes and came back with a pin pad for me to swipe my card. I asked if I could see the paperwork first, (they usually add crate fees, etc) which we do not need and I also wanted to see the AKC papers before purchasing. She said of course and walked away. She then came back and said "oh we're giving you $100 off the price" I thought okay???? Why though. She then comes back with the pin pad for my card to pay again. I told her once again we wanted to review the paperwork. At this point we were so rubbed the wrong way with these sales people we decided we were not going to continue getting this puppy. As we got up to leave the Latricia lady followed us out the door and got in my face to ask me what happened. When I explained to her we had a bad feeling and no longer wanted to purchase here she completely argued with me every step of the way. I told her we liked the Plano store and the procedures there made us feel a lot better, we would like to go back there. She completely screamed at us, mind you, other customers were in the store. When we finally got to leave she yelled out the door "COME BACK WHEN YOURE READY" and slammed it. Disgusting and horrifying. NOW, we are driving home and 5 minutes later I receive a text from an unknown number and it is clearly this lady taunting us. Will attach screenshot here.
