Funny enough, my parents were going to Dallas that next weekend to visit my brother and they offered to pick her up on the way home for us! It worked out so perfectly. I was nervous about being scammed because I have heard some horror stories, but the pick up went so smooth! My parents said they were such nice people. Shortly after bringing him home, the puppy was diagnosed by my licensed veterinarian with pica, a compulsive disorder that causes ingestion of non-food items. As a result, he required one obstruction surgery and was taken to the emergency room five times for ingestion of foreign objects during the three and half months that I owned him. This condition required ongoing management and significant expenses. I ultimately returned the puppy to the breeder as outlined under the contract, with a very tearful goodbye. He ingested another foreign object, and I could no longer afford medical expenses for the puppy after spending approximately $15k in medical expenses prior to receiving any insurance reimbursement at that time. In order to return the puppy, I signed a liability waiver and non-disparagement clause, which stated that no financial reimbursement would be provided, a new puppy would not be provided, and that I could not make negative public statements about the breeder. This whole experience has been financially and emotionally devastating for myself and my 5 year-old son. I am sharing only my personal, factual experience so that others can make informed decisions. I would be happy to speak with anyone who would like additional factual information or documentation regarding my experience.

The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. They took the time to answer questions, explain the volunteer activities, and make everyone feel appreciated. You can tell that the animals' well-being is a top priority, and the positive atmosphere throughout the facility reflects that. They are the most amazing cats we have ever had, and we absolutely adore them! When we decided to get ragdolls, we researched breeders carefully and Dana is truly one of the best! Her kittens are hand raised and socialized in her home, a clean, safe, and loving environment. She regularly shows her cats and they have won lots of awards, so you are guaranteed they are healthy and meet the breed standard. As part of her commitment to ragdolls, she mentors new breeders and volunteers for TICA. Dana is one of the nicest and most hard-working people we have ever met. I had actually researched other breeders closer to where I live in Delaware, but no one compared to the services and guarantees provided by Brittany. The application and payment process is very easy. She really goes above and beyond to make sure you have the puppy you want in a seamless manner and keeps in close contact throughout the process. Our first plan was to have them fly my new baby to me, but then the east coast got that huge snowstorm. I was in Texas for business and asked if they could drive her to me and they actually drove her 3.5 hours to me and I was able to fly home with her. They checked on us to make sure everything was working out well, which it was and is. We love our new baby Julianna and so does her brother Javier!!

She takes fantastic care of all of her puppies to ensure they are healthy and happy. They are fed well and she made sure we as new owners had everything we needed to take care of our puppy. Our pup basically came potty trained, a few mishaps, of course. This alone is HUGE!! He is exceptionally smart, healthy, spry, and very sweet puppy.
